Izayoi die to save Oran. His mind was changed by Arashi because Izayoi tried to kill team Autumn before. He was a guid of team Autumn but he regretted that he couldn’t do anything for people. And some of team Autumn’s people was crazy, so he tried to kill them. But he might have thinking that everyone can live together after he met Arashi. That’s why he helped Oran. He also grew in the story.

these characters are all slowly being fleshed out in some pretty great ways. love their growths and failings as they try to figure out what the hell they’re doing.

final chapter really sold me this volume. natsu is beginning to show growth, it’s bittersweet to learn more of botan’s backstory, and the festival scene at the end was especially touching. overall a very heartwarming place to leave off, i can only imagine what’s to come

This volume is so important in characterization and narrative shifts. It's incredibly well-done. It's a slower volume, which is much needed after the traumatic events of following the failed 7Seeds project of the bunkers.

Going back the main plot is a relief. Please no more edition long flashback arcs with entire new casts
