These books are fast paced and steamy and can be easily read in an hour or so.
Rebecca isn’t a strong woman and suffers from anxiety which has impacted every part of her life. Moving from the city seemed like her last chance at finding a life in peace unaware of the wildness that surrounds her. She meets Liam and her attraction takes her by surprise having never felt anything like this before. But this new life she has found is filled with a danger she has no idea exists, can she survive the secrets that Liam comes with?

Why? Why do I do this to myself?????... I see these books w/lots of stars and great reviews...and not so much...
The heroine was not fit for an alpha werewolf.... she didn't have anxiety so much as self pity....

This is a quick read, but there’s just not enough development going on for me to stay interested. At the halfway point, they’ve met… he’s courted, and now they’re coupled. There’s no real pack dynamics, supporting characters, (except a couple scenes w/ his BFF’s) no conflict, no drama.
Rebecca’s a 30yr-old, home-schooled virgin with debilitating anxiety, and has socially-awkward issues. She’s also a “curvy girl” with body and self-esteem hang-ups. She’s sweet, but her and I have zero in common, and would never be friends. 😊 Liam is the pack alpha, and nice enough, but pretty flat.
Bottom line- There’s just not enough to get me interested. There’s not much plot, and not much smut. Although, I think it’s my first ever cunnilingus scene with an uncircumcised penis… so there’s that… I don’t get too many “firsts” at this stage in the game.

This is the third book in the Breeding Season series by Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino. This one was pretty boring and I struggled to finish it. Rebecca was such a weak friggin’ character that I wish Liam had found someone else.

This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. The writing style for this story is easy to follow, the characters are likeable and the storyline enjoyable. This story is fast paced but I did feel that it slowed a lot at one point before the pace returned.
I liked Liam and Rebecca as a couple and the chemistry between them was clear to see. I liked that Rebecca loved animals and loved Liam’s wolf along with his dog. I was amused that Liam was the alpha and that his dog was called Alphie.
I liked that Liam’s friends helped him to save Rebecca. I hated Payne and was glad that his plan backfired on his evil ass.

Rebecca is a woman who is not strong. Liam is an alpha who is looking for his mate and when he finds it with Rebecca he realizes he can't just grab her and make her his. Will she be able to accept who he is?
This was a fun quick read. I liked Liam and thought that he was the best part of the book. Rebecca was sweet but I think if the book had been a bit longer you would have understood her character better. Will check out the next book.

I love this type of stories and I was excited for this. And it was going great until one moment. So, okay... I loved Liam. He was just amazing. Alpha, protective and loyal H. But I'm not a fan of Rebecca. I was ok with her, until that moment came. Sorry, but she a bit ruined the story. Rebecca was too weak and dramatic for my liking. She was too much sorry for herself, when shit hit the fan and she was forced to face the true about werewolf existence and more. I know she's a human. But even human could have had done some damage, or at least fought back at least with words, instead of curling in the corner and crying.
So, in all the story gone well, but... Yeah, Rebecca.

Fun read I just wish Sam was apart of kindle unlimited. This was 3.99 and I just feel it was a .99 read. If It was .99 or KU, I'd buy all her books but bc of the price and value I only buy when a story intrigues me. Which sucks cause I'm sure there are a ton of great stories she has written I'm missing out on.

We meet the annoyed growly shifter alpha wolf Liam he's been lonely since all his pack members have found their mates and he hasn't... wishing he has someone to love and protect.. soo. Enough he gets his wish when he meets Rebecca at the local store. Rebecca moved away from the busy city to the quite town to help with her anxiety she also trying to get outside the box and go on a date with the rough tough guy she just met..
But there dates keep getting interrupted by outsiders and other peoples who wanna take over Liam's land.. but that's only some of the drama.. the other is how is he going to tell Rebecca who he has strong feelings for that he is a shifter?!?

It’s also different but I was surprised at the similarities. For a ladies man H is surprisingly bad at wooing h. She’s basically pursuing him which is weird because she’s super shy and anxious. I know I’m supposed to be all feminist and glad she’s the one taking the steps he’s too unfit to make but I prefer it when H pursues so that really put me off. Go ahead and steal my woman card. It’s a book and I like what I like.
He claims her before ever telling her he’s a wolf shifter. She weirdly “loves” wolves though she has little to no knowledge. The h is straight up kidnapped and tormented and hurt by H’s enemy. H eventually shows up but I prefer the Calvary to arrive before h is hurt, I know they unrealistic but I’m reading a book about wolf shifters - I’m not shouting for realism here.

Medium burn, h gives up the v card around 45%.

Rebecca has anxiety issues and because of that she is lonely and she doesn't have friends and feels isolated. So when she meets Liam she decides to take a chance and get out of her comfort zone. But is this the right thing to do for her as this means she needs to leave her apartment, meet people, is she ready for this
I loved his story and what I loved about it was Liam. He was a total badass alpha and so protective. Wanting to take care of his pack and his mate. Will he have choose between the two or will he be able to have both

I was bored and left flat with this book.
It was unappealing and unoriginal. The female lead was boring and weak. The relationship was rushed and mostly in their own heads. The intimacy was weirdly forced writing wise, and therefore not interesting.
It was just a lame story. If you’re going to call this a “breeding” series then it should be more hotter, more intense, more dirty then this! One anal scene is not dirty. It was really the most boring and undescriptive anal scene I’ve ever read. It started and then it was over. Smh.
Anyway, I just read “His Secret Sin” by Sam Crescent before this book and that book sucked me in. While this book I wasn’t even sure was by the same writer. Enjoy if you can. I want to return this one for my money back. By amazon won’t let me. Grrr.

but hey! this one had something new: the "you're not like other guys" i never read that one before so good for you, here is your gold star (I'm not being ironic)
yes, half a star more just because that was not one but TWICE
so.. overall, as far as this saga goes.. i don't think this is the worse of them all.
i mean I'm gonna be honest here and properly recognize the fact that.. there is an effort when it comes to the story. there's something like a plot, enemies, bad guys, yes it's resolved pretty quickly but it works
anyway, I'm gonna read the next one but after that, I'm not sure if I'm ever going to complete this saga.

The Introvert with Bad Ass Alpha
Another good book from a great Team. As is normal with the this type of romance, the Alpha, Liam, is immediately attracted but the his interest, Rebecca, is shy and unsure of herself. That is, she lacks experience and self esteem. A series of events brings them closer and ultimately together. Nice choice for a quick read for those who like shifter romances. I am presently reading the 4th book in series which follows a similar formula. Keep up the good work Sam and Stacey. Also reading some of your other books and they are quite good as well. Will review them as I finish them.

Liam is getting tired of seeing everyone in his pack finding mates. He really didn’t care at first but now he is wondering when will he find his mate. Rebecca is new to the town and really keeps to herself. She didn’t expect to fine anyone. Certainly wasn’t looking. Liam saved her from jerks. But there is something about him that is drawing her to him. I do love a good shifter story. Liam being tough and thinking he didn’t need anyone. Then realizing it sucks to be alone. Who will carry on the pack? These two both were a perfect match. Even though she was human the fates brought them together and now they had to fight to protect and keep the pack.

I think this might be the best written book that I've ever ready by these two authors. They are generally just a fluff read, and I expect bad writing. But I only clocked 1 error (and at the very end) and it kept me really engaged. If I were rating this against other books that I read, it would probably just get 3 stars, but because I'm so impressed that these authors did a good job with this one, I'm tacking on that extra half star.
Regarding the story, it was good, but also a typical alpha/fated mate read. There were parts of the storyline that presented as if there were a previous book, and the connection was never explained. Im not sure if there were other books, or if this one was just lacking the backstory. Overall, an okay read, but a goodish read by these authors.

It was alright
This a true standalone book.
The story has a standard storyline. Alpha meets unsuspecting mate. Drama, sex, insecurities and then HEA. It is well written and didn't disappoint on hotness.
I don't think i will read It again but I will read the other.

Fantastic read
This story is absolutely beautiful. Liam and Rebecca are such a sweet couple. Their journey together is wonderful. I love every single minute of it. I absolutely recommend this book.
