Plagued by visions of the future and forced into a role not of her choosing, Emma is used to living in service of others. She has always followed the rules and put duty above all else. Even giving up the love of her life. But when that love flees the greatest threat to magic and asks for Sanctuary, Emma is thrown into a world of danger and conflict. Caught between responsibilities to others and being true to herself, the convictions Emma has always honored are challenged like never before. With only a small band of friends supporting her, she must gather the courage to forge a new path if she hopes to defeat the monstrous threat. Will her choices lead to the salvation of magic kind or will she doom them all? This is Book TWO of The Magic Sanctuary Trilogy. While better read in order, Concealed by Magic can be read as a stand alone.
V.M. Marsh has led a nomadic existence for most of her adult life while she has accompanied her military husband to duty stations spanning both US coasts and Hawaii. Thanks to living in a variety of amazing places, she has an abundance of locations, cultures, and experiences to use in her writing. Before becoming an author, she held (and still holds) volunteer board positions for multiple organizations and pursued a math degree [after realizing early on that nursing wasn't for her]. Mostly, though, she has held down the fort through deployments, organized and managed multiple military moves, and been a full-time mom of two precious little Divas, er, daughters. When she isn't writing dark but quirky Urban Fantasy, she can be found reading, sightseeing, camping, or crafting. Her debut novel is CONCEALED BY MAGIC.
