Theo is going back to his home planet, for the first time since its surface became a blackened cinder.
A strange mineral named Relissarium, having the properties of almost infinite strength, has been discovered there. Whichever side can weaponize it first will dominate the other. The Yasta are already mining it, and the Carbonari must stop them. They are dropped onto Relisse, to blow up the mine. But, why is Karl, the double-crossing traitor, already waiting for them? And even if Theo and the team escape the ambush alive, can they stop the Yasta from obtaining vast quantities of Relissarium?

If you like epic battles, action-packed adventures, and edge-of-your-seat suspense, you will love The Relissarium Wars Series!
This is the third book in the Relissarium Wars Space opera. Theo and his team, the Carbonari, are going back to his destroyed home planet Relissarium to destroy the mining. Memories flooding him, but he has to be alert. Danger is lurking everywhere. Is there a traitor in their team? Why are the enemies always know, when they are coming? There must be a traitor. But who is it?
Part three of the Relissarium Wars Space Opera series from Andrew C. Broderick is called Strike Force Retaliation. Theo and his team are sent on a mission to the planet Sirsette, equipped with limited knowledge on what to expect on arrival. I struggled a little to engage with this story which took up about half of the book, however once the mission changed and the team headed off back to Relisse, the book improved quite a bit.
Unfortunately, like its predecessor, there were a number of spelling errors throughout the book which depleted its quality. For instance, the character Hubard was frequently written Hubbard, and the word starred used instead of stared. Despite these annoying errors, Strike Force Retaliation is a good continuation of the Relissarium Wars series.
I received an ARC of this book from Andrew C. Broderick and voluntarily chose to write this review.
This book has a little less action than the first two, now don't get me wrong, it's still at least 75% an action space opera. For me that 25% of world building made this book the best of the series so far.
What I really loved was all those in between spaces where instead of going through the action, our young hero found something different that widened a little the size of the universe, while giving him more material to grow into his role.
Now whether that content helps him grow in a more heroic or a more devilish version of himself remains to be seen.
And the dark things he might face in the next book of the series could be the thing that finally tides him over one side or the other.
Theo is now a full member of the resistance and his next mission is taking him back to his home. Which is now being mined for relissarium what will he find and will this mission be betrayed. Another stirring adventure
Theo and the team are on a mission of revenge, but the enemy always seems to be one step ahead. This book was shorter, and focused on one mission of the team. We do see Theo grappling further with his inner demons too.
the 3rd book in the series and i really enjoyed it the carbonari go to theos old planet to make a collection i like how theo is coming along and there plenty action and a great story
