Tanner Kosta is the newest member of the team. Active in sports, particularly aerial types, he's training with a new military harness used in paragliding. The design was developed by Wynn Rider and her brother. As they run two SEAL teams through rigid training, Wynn's glider fails mid-flight, sending her plummeting toward the ground. Only Tanner's quick thinking saves her life-though it doesn't save her from losing her job. Wynn used to compete professionally in the cutthroat paragliding industry before she walked away from it, but this accident is by far the worst she's ever had. Separating her gratitude from the growing attraction is nearly impossible. Tanner has heard the old adage that saving a life makes you responsible for it. Having admired Wynn's career when she was a professional paraglider, he's more than a little interested in keeping a close eye on the fascinating lovely who almost literally fell in his lap. When Wynn realizes her equipment had been sabotaged, she's worried her past has come back to haunt her. Tanner may be the only one who can help her against someone who's determined to put her and her brother out of business...permanently.

This one was quite different than the other SEALs of Honor books. I honestly couldn’t pin point what the differences were, but I just got the refreshing feeling of reading Tanner.
Both Ava and Tanner loved aerial sports, and Ava made a living out of it. Someone was out to put her, and her brother, out of the business though. Permanently would be better, as in losing life. Tanner was there to help her sort through it.
The basic recipe was the same, but there’s one unusual event in this book that I don’t remember ever been addressed previously. I really liked it. To see how this couple worked it out. All in all, Tanner was one of the better ones in the series.
I was provided a complementary copy by the author / publisher, but this in no way influenced my thoughts or opinions.
4.5 Stars. The backdrop for this book is Paragliding. It’s a treat to read a book with originality, as I have never read about this topic before in any other book. Tanner and Wynn bond quickly after experiencing a near death event together. Tanner literally saves Wynn’s life when her equipment fails her after take-off. Tanner makes it his business to find out who is responsible for sabotaging her glider, while protecting Wynn from any further mishaps that could end in her death. The pace of the story, along with the drama, and mystery keeps the reader engaged. Add in a steamy bedroom scene, and the results is an above-average romantic suspense book.
This one is a sweet fast-paced suspense romance from Dale Mayer. This is Tanner's book, the newest member in Mason's team and it's his turn in love, but it's not going to be easy, because he has to deal with the killer first. Yes... someone is trying to kill her and Tanner will do anything to protect her. Yup.. I really enjoying this sweet mixed with suspense read. It might a bit too fast for me, it's hard to feel the connection between Tanner and Wynn, it feels like it's just a beginning, they're sweet together though, both have the same interests, they're perfect for each other. And there's some weird things that a bit bothering me, so yeah..not my favorite but I enjoyed it nonetheless and devoured it in short time.
If you're looking for a fast-paced sweet suspense romance, this one is for you.

Is doing what you love causing more trouble than what its worth?
The world of any elite athlete and the sports they pursue with a passion is normally just filled with competition, training and more of the same. For some, there are times when things just aren’t right. Something is terribly wrong. There is an element of something not right in Wynn’s world. Years out of the competitive sporting arena, it suddenly has ramifications beyond merely catching the gusts of wind, while paragliding, that she loves pursuing . It can lead to trouble and death if someone has their way.
When accidents aren’t accidents and a new person has just saved your life… it opens a world of questions, frustrations, doubts and more of the same before the puzzling answers fit together. When past events aren’t what they seem.
Dale has written a wonderful story that is easy to read, filled with drama and suspenseful moments and lots of mind boggling questions that need answers. I loved the dynamic and dramatic action through out their story… though one particular moment confused me - I just didn’t think it possible and I’m still trying to picture that scene unfolding.
Both Tanner and Wynn are caring about others, both are strong characters that live with their hearts and passions for what they love to do but still ignite that beautiful chemistry, respect and care, if they open themselves up to new possibilities.
Note; It was also good to actually see Tanner called away on a mission. That’s an aspect often not fully explored with developing relationships. It would be great to go back or have this be part of the SEALS doing what they do best, not just for their relationships but for their country. If you love page-turning drama, sporting intrigue and love solving a mystery - Dale Mayer delivers with TANNER. A well written story, highly recommended for those that love not only a military based hero but love solving the unwanted drama that unfolds to someone who’s captured your attention. You’ll also get a quick sneak peek into Jackson’s story… and a pocket rocket that going to turn his world upside down.
Once again, Dale Mayer finds an unexpected and original setting for her new Seal’s novel. This book is an interesting and pleasant surprise for her affectionate readers, all the while maintaining all the characteristics necessary to attract new bookworms looking for an unusual storyline. The book tells the story of Tanner, another Navy Seal in the group that gives the series his namesake, and Wynn, a former paragliding champion and now instructor and equipment designer. The storyline flows easily, with plenty of vivid and colorful descriptions of Wynn and Talon's paragliding adventures. A few mysterious accidents form the basis of the action-packed plot, which is never obvious, keeping the reader guessing to the very last minute. Finally, the constant cameos of the leading characters from the previous books gives continuity to the series. Wynn, the heroine, is once again a strong, independent woman. A former paragliding champion, she is confident, outspoken and happy with her new career as an instructor. She is also busy starting up a gear design business with her brother. When her circumstances become strained, she is reluctant to accept the help of the big Navy Seals but, when she does, they all work as a team, a welcome change from the cliché “alpha protector/damsel in distress” dynamic. Tanner shares many of the traits of his fellow Navy Seals. He is big, strong and dangerous on the outside, yet he is also loyal and generous towards his friends and the people he cares for. His personality has a seriousness derived from being continuously exposed to violent and horrifying situations, but he nonetheless manages to retain a nice self deprecating attitude that distinguishes his character and makes it original and captivating. Overall, the rythm of the story and its originality, together with the cast of well depicted characters, are some of the strongest features of this book, melding it into a very pleasant, entertaining and captivating read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Opinions and comments are solely my own.
First of all, anyone who loves Jeeps as much as I do, have got to be exceptional!
This is a very interesting and descriptive story involving paragliding, a challenging sport, not for the faint of heart. I was hooked from the very beginning. Not many stories feature this kind of competitive sport and I was captivated.
I love how a female (Wynn) has equal talent, knowledge and input on designs, creativity as well as flying the beautiful devices. Tanner, his SEAL team and one other SEAL team unit are testing the latest paragliders that Wynn and her brother, Todd, have designed. He witnesses first hand a questionable failure of Wynn’s unit and attempts to save her as they plummet and crash.
Her brother, Todd, has suffered a recent crash as well and is recovering along with continuing to engineer, build and adjust the current designs he and Wynn have created. I appreciate the close relationship Wynn and Todd share as siblings. It makes for a very heartfelt aspect of this story. I also enjoy the investigative tactics involved in determining if Wynn’s crash is accidental or sabotage. This entire story is intriguing as well as educational, exciting and suspenseful.
The growing attraction between Wynn and Tanner is both exciting and challenging which makes the SEALS of Honor series so enjoyable. You can always count on a hot, well built, strong SEAL and a beautiful (both inside and out) compassionate woman that catches the SEAL’s eye as well as his heart!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Tanner McGrath and his team are part of a paragliding class taught by Wynn Rider. Their goal is to learn how to use a new harness that was developed by Wynn Rider and her brother, Todd.
During one of their flights, Wynn’s paraglider malfunctions. If not for Tanner’s quick action, she would not have survived. Wynn inspects her equipment and realizes that it was deliberately vandalized. She discloses this information to Tanner and also mentions two other accidents that had happened previously. Tanner suspects sabotage and begins to investigate.
As Tanner, Wynn and Todd investigate, there are more “accidents.” Meanwhile, the author, Dale Mayer runs us around in circles as she leads the readers through many false roads and dead ends in the search for the culprit.
I love Dale Mayer’s books because her heroines are all strong, independent and intelligent women. Plus, the men all treat each other with “trust, caring and respect.” But, more importantly, they, also, treat all of the women in the book the same way.
Also, in all of this author’s books, I look forward to Ms. Mayer’s epilogues. This short chapter at the end of her stories gives us readers lots of information about the next book in the series. She provides the reader clues about the main characters in her next book. She also provides small hints of the conflict that will be part of the next story. By the time I am done, I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Another one of Mason’s team finds the one, a keeper and she is a paragliding expert who ends up needing Tanner’s help the first day they meet. Wynn loves extreme sports and her passion is paragliding, which she now teaches and that’s how she meets Tanner when two of Mason’s teams end up at the school where she teaches for some paragliding instructions. When Wynn suspects her gear was tampered with, Tanner immediately goes into protector mode especially when he finds out about her other incidents. How many more “accidents” does Wynn need to have before she takes it seriously. Another keeper in the SEAL’s of Honor series with some steam, some humour, suspense, some action and a mystery that had me guessing right to the end. I have always enjoyed these read by this author, the immediate attraction between the star characters and this one is no exception. The sparks are there for Tanner and Wynn and I love how little drama is between the couples, no jealousies or misunderstandings keeping them apart. Only one question on my mind, was the truck in their first incident involved with what happened or just a coincidence. Otherwise I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait for another keeper. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Another successful rendinition of fantastic writing as Tanner is getting ready to climb the charts when SEALs of Honor hits the book world.
Tanner Costa goes on a training mission for new harness used in paragliding and gets involved in a near death accident with the designer of said harness. Then he is sent out on a mission and when he returns and makes the discovery that much more has happened involving Wynn Rider he steps in and asks all the right questions and they slowly discover it was much more than just an accident. He's not going to sit back and watch anything bad happen to her.
As always this book is intriguing and contains lots of mystery, and I mean lots of mystery. Also more danger than was originally noticeable or thought about as this story unfolds and it's discovered that the plot goes farther back than anyone would have suspected and with an ending that none would expect.
The chemistry between Tanner and Wynn is easy going and not really noticeable to either of them but to his team and her brother it's very obvious. Tanner is all ALPHA and Wynn is a strong willed woman which is just what they both need in a relationship.
Tanner is in the right place at the right time to save Wynn's life, but he's not stopping there. He's going to make sure she stays alive, and to do that he has to get to the bottom of all the strange "accidents" that have plagued her recently. This investigation takes on a life of its own, traveling back through time and across the entire competitive paragliding sport. Meanwhile, the more he learns about Wynn, the more he's determined to investigate the sizzling chemistry they share and see if they can make a relationship work.
There's danger and suspense around every corner, and the drama extends far beyond anything Wynn could imagine. She's impressed with Tanner's take-charge protective nature, and is drawn to his easy-going style and the inherent safety she feels in his presence.
There are a few surprises in this story, lots of nail-biting action, and a beautiful romance whose HEA segues neatly into the next SEALs of Honor story. If you love military heroes, Tanner is your new book boyfriend. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Success can be dangerous Paragliding champs and equipment designers Wynn Rider and her brother Todd have been plagued by accidents over the past couple of years. Todd’s ability to walk is compromised from an injury incurred in a championship event two years ago, at which time both siblings quit competing. Todd focuses on designing safer equipment and Wynn teaches for a company who has benefitted from her designs as well. After they started getting their research info together to prepare for patenting their designs, their office/home was breached by an intruder, Wynn has been run off the road, and the scariest, deadliest accident while teaching the paragliding course in which Tanner and other members of Mason’s unit are participating. Luckily, Tanner’s love for paragliding to the max caused Wynn to take the last run in a position to track his progress. Her equipment failed, and she and Tanner ended up hitting the river near the drop site hard. Lots of twists and turns as Wynn and Tanner work through the many possibilities for people who would want to disable or scare or kill her and Todd, or just steal their designs. Very engaging plot and characters. Great read.
This is a fitting addition to this series with Tanner finding the love of his life with his paragliding instructor, Wynn when he had to save her life after her glider is sabotaged. They were on a training jump and he noticed that her wing collapsed and she would have crashed to the ground but her had her land on top of him and they landed in the river upon her suggestion. This was the part of a mysterious chain of events as someone was out to kill her. He started to protect her and her crippled brother who had suffered a crash a year ago and was still recovering from it. As it turns out they were both related as some people were out to kill them. Tanner and his SEAL unit were sent on a mission but other SEALs were protecting them when they could but some e keep breaking in their house trying to steal their paragliding designs. Tanner and Wynn started to fall in love and everything came to a head when they were kidnapped and forced to paragliders with gliders that were mangled. They managed to survive but their kidnappers Tom and Kirk ended up killing each other. This was an exciting suspenseful love story and I highly recommend this series.
When I read a military book I need action as well as suspense and live and this book gave it me all. Tanner, book 17 of the seals of honor, kicks off where the previous book finishes with Warrick and Penny recuperating in hospital. Warrick gets promoted to full time and it’s time to fly.......literally as they train and test a new harness for paragliding developed by Wynn and her brother.
As the training gets going it’s clear something is wrong as Wynn plummets out of the sky. It’s Tanner that comes to her aid as he rescues her as they plunge into the river. It’s sabotage and now it’s a race against time for them to find the guilty parties before she dies once and for all.
It was a shock to find out who it was all along because it wasn’t the person I thought it was. A great read from start to finish with lots of action right from the start. Another seal bites the dust as Tanner falls in love. Can he keep Wynn alive to have their HEA?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The excitement starts right at the beginning of this book. While Warren and Penny start their new adventure. Tanner decides he may be ready for a relationship, that is if can ever find someone. Mason's advice is the best. Let fate handle it.
Fate has something in mind of course and it's hair-raising. While two of the teams are out Paragliding to test out some new harnesses. Their instructor is Wynn Ryder, a renowned Paraglider. The harnesses are of her design. On the last run of the day, Wynn's glider breaks.
In a harrowing rescue, Tanner with some hints from Wynn, gets the two of them into the river, and proceeds to get her out of the tangle of silk and lines.
When Wynn gets fired, her brother Todd gets the police involved and then things start heating up even more. Tanner starts spending more and more time with the siblings and even manages a date or two with Wynn.
An edge of your seat suspense with a slow build relationship between Tanner and Wynn. I couldn't put this book down.
I was kindly provided this book as an ARC; in exchange for my honest review. This is book 18 in the SEALs Of Honor series. This story centers around Wynn and Tanner. Wynn is a retired professional paraglider, who designs & builds “bigger, better, & faster gliders with her brother Todd. Todd & Wynn retired from competing after Todd’s paragliding “accident” that nearly killed him and had left him unable to walk.
Wynn meets Tanner and his SEAL team at the glider school where she has worked as an instructor since her brothers accident. During their training exercise Wynn’s glider fails & her backup parachute is missing. Tanner comes to her rescue & they walk away from an “accident” that should have been fatal. The story evolves from there. I’ll say Ms. Dale did a good job setting up the story & it wasn’t immediately obvious as to “who done it”. Not much in the way of big “character building”, but the storyline flows well & is fairly believable. It’s a fast & entertaining read.
SEAL Tanner Kosta is training on a new harness for Paragliding that was developed by instructor Wynn Rider and her brother - both retired from competing professionally at the top of their game. Disaster strikes when Wynn's falls mid-flight and Tanner's quick thinking saves her life (but not her job). As it becomes clear that her accident is sabotage can Tanner keep her alive, can Wynn accept her growing attraction to Tanner and will they find out who is determined to kill her?
This was a charming story in a great setting f the world of competitive paragliding. I loved the way both Tanner and Wynn were fighting and struggling with the concept of falling in love while all around them was drama, danger and betrayal. Their relationship and the trust between them built up slowly and so was definitely setting the foundations for something very special. Well written and very clear and easy to understand it was a great addition to the author's SEALs of Honor series.
Tanner by Dale Mayer SEALs of Honor Series Tanner McGrath had watched his friend Warrick, and many SEALs before that who were connected to Mason, fall in love. He wasn't looking, not really. But when he ends up rescuing his instructor during a paragliding practice...he finds out what those men before him did...sometimes love just falls into place when you're not even looking.
Wynn Ryder had given up competition a few years ago when her brother was hurt. She enjoyed teaching at the school. When something goes wrong, she's mighty glad for the handsome SEAL who was able to come to her rescue.
But, was it an accident? Just like the other incidences in Wynn's life lately that add up to something more serious. Someone is trying to hurt her. Maybe even kill her. Who better to have around than a Navy SEAL? Great story. Kept me turning the page and wondering who the culprit was. **Sexual content https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
The story starts out with Tanner using his SEAL training to save Wynn while paragliding. Not only did the paraglider fail, but her parachute failed to open. When Tanner found out there were two other incidents that were close calls, his protective instincts took over. He was going to work with Wynn and her brother to get to the bottom of these accidents even if they didn’t think it was necessary. Like all of the books in the series, I loved the banter between the characters. I like reading these books to see the SEALs in action. The fact Tanner was a SEAL wasn’t a big part of the plot. Tanner didn’t really need to be a SEAL to be the hero of the book. Now just because it didn’t have SEAL type action doesn’t mean there wasn’t any action because there was. I just wanted the SEALs to save the day. Even without the SEAL action, I still liked the book and couldn’t put it down once I started it. The book is definitely worth a read, but it wasn’t my favorite by the author.
WOW! This is a fascinating story about hang-gliding. This story is about Tanner and Wynn. It starts out with the Seal's going to try out new gear for hang-gliders. Tanner has an encounter with their instructor - Wynn. When the last flight of the day goes totally wrong, Tanner saves Wynn's life. Now the chase is on to find out who wants Wynn dead. As the story goes on, the couple find out that both her brother and their friend were also in accidents but were actually an act of sabotage. As we get to the end, we find out that it was Wynn's former co-workers who wanted both her and her brother dead so they could steal their designs. Once the brothers eliminated each other, these two finally can get on with their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book.
When Tanner needs to save Wynn in a paragliding training accident, he is concerned to hear that this is not the first near miss for her. For Wynn, a paragliding expert and former competitor, this accident has shaken her up, but she is ready to go back to teaching. Wynn is fired. Working together, Tanner and Wynn start to look at all the recent incidents. I received a free copy of this book from the author through Booksprout. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. After a suspenseful start, this is a good mystery that kept me guessing until the end. Their initial friendship leads to a believable romance. I enjoyed reading this book very much. I recommend this book and this series.
Wynn and her brother Todd were professional paragliders until two years ago when a paragliding accident left Todd paralyzed and they now design gliders for others to use.
Tanner is the newest member of the SEAL team and he is familiar with Wynn and Todd’s history so he is looking forward to going to the school where she instructs.
An equipment malfunction during a training exercise results in Tanner rescuing her but she lost her job as a result. When Tanner finds out about the suspicious activity that seem to surround Wynn and Todd he is determined to find out who is behind it and why before the next accident becomes fatal.
This story takes you on an adventure full of suspense, twists and romance.
Once again we're taken on an exciting journey with Dale Mayer, only this time it's in the air. When SEAL teams come to a paragliding school for training on new gliders in experimental stage, no one is expecting a world class instructor or an accident.
Wynn is the instructor and Tanner has the honor of gliding off a cliff by her side. What happens next is anybody's guess and Tanner becomes involved in a more bizzar set of circumstances than he ever could have imagined. The story becomes more entangled after things happen around Wynn that look like sabatoge or attempted murder.
Tanner and Wynn embark on trying to examine what's going on and in the process things heat up romantically as a possible murder attempt looks likely.
Tanner and Wynn gave us a mystery in the air. Wynn and her brother are a brilliant design team that works with Exclusive gliders. The mystery comes in with sabotage, who is trying to kill Wynn? What are they after? Tanner gets to find his one to keep and protects her from harm. I love the a action as well as some of the characters from earlier in the series making their appearance. The newest addition to the series leaves me wondering if there will be a blending of all of the talents being accumulated to have a huge mystery solved. This story is a great addition and brings in a new kind of mystery. Great read!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed this wonderful suspenseful read full of threats and thrills, a mystery that builds gradually mostly creating more questions than answers for the most part and then turns into something far more than at first thought. With an almost ending that has you literally on the edge of your seat. Excitement and underlying worry while a friendship and romance build out of something unexpected has you gripped throughout while trying to work out what's going on, trying to figure out where the threats are coming from. This story felt refreshing and a bit different, the characters strong and lovable. Fast pace with a fairly intricate story.
Outstanding . I must say TANNER is absolutely a fantastic story . The suspense and intrigue in this story is off the charts . The characters are great . Tanner Kosta is a sexy total alpha military man and Wynn Rider beautiful inside and out and definitely brave retired paraglider what a fantastic fit . I love their chemistry and growing relationship . This story is so action packed I was on the edge of my seat flipping the pages . It's definitely full of action , suspense , intrigue and great characters . It's such a well written Story . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

This is the latest book in the Seals of Honor series and it is just as good as the previous books. Tanner is a Seal working under Mason. Tanner and the rest of the team are sent to train paragliding with the new harnesses created by Wynn. When Wynn goes up with the group to show them how it is used she has an accident but is saved by Tanner. He then finds out from her that she and her brother have had some unusual accidents and he wants to get to the bottom of it. Somewhere along the way they fall in love. A good story and Dale Mayer easily brings past characters from the series into this story.
Tanner and Wynn are the latest couple in this installment in the Seals series and they do not disappoint. The characters are strong, determined and the reader is never confused about what the main characters are thinking. However, there is lots of serious intrigue and danger that has to be untangled to find out who the real menace or menaces are before someone is seriously hurt. I could not put this book down. It's a really attention holder. Always love the tease at the end of the book giving the readers a hint into the next book.

brother and sister duo who now design paragliders and other such stuff, they were professional flyers themselves but a series of disasters ended their careers...
but now something suspicious is still going on and when tanner and the rest of the guys are having lessons with their new gliders tanner is there to bring wynn down safely...
this isnt the end of it and by talking about the other mishaps that have happened recently tanner gets suss again and brings it all out for wynn and her brother to consider...
but things move on fairly fast...
can tanner really prove that someone is out to kill wynn before it actually happens
brilliant writing yet again by dale...loved this book
I love the SEALs of Honor series and Tanner's story is one of my favorites with captivating characters and a well-crafted story centering around the sport of paragliding with sabotage, high-flying danger, and beautiful romance. I loved the instant attraction and chemistry between SEAL Tanner McGrath, newest member of Mason's team, and Wynn Rider who is a paragliding instructor and equipment developer. I couldn't put the book down and was turning the pages faster than ever to see what was going to happen. I am looking forward to book nineteen in this must-read series. I received an advance reader copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and unbiased review.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was Tanner's and Wynn's story. It was a good story but I didn't feel where the two protagonists really connected for the longest time. But when you stop and think about it, insta-love doesn't happen all the time. What was nice was that Tanner actually had to leave for an assignment and was gone for a short time. That doesn't necessarily happen and made for a more realistic setting.
I enjoyed the dual POV that the book was written in. If you enjoy, military alpha males, then you will like this one.
