Faced with multiple threats as they head out across country, both Newt and Jessica must confront fears and secrets from their troubled past and learn to trust each other if they hope to come out alive and nurture the long dormant love deep within their hearts.

With the receipt of four morbid Valentine’s Day cards, the NSI team and the women in their lives are pulled into a deadly game of cat and mouse, orchestrated by a disturbed individual from Hannibal North’s distant past bent on brutal revenge.

For mature adults- Thriller + romance, rape, homosexuals, lots of liberal social commentary
This series shows great improvement in the author's writing: complicated plots that keep you turning the pages, characters well defined and showing growth through the stories, way fewer editing/ proofing errors. It should be noted that this series also exposes readers to graphic rape scenes, more intense violence than previous bundles I've read from her, homosexual relationships (not graphic), and political rants with a definite leftward slant- all of which added to the plots, but are not typically found in your average romance. So it's a good read, but should carry some warnings about possible triggers.

OMG
These books were so freaking good and intense and heartbreaking! I thought it was a shifter book about security guys and their stories, after awhile of reading I noticed it was a shifter one at all but couldn't put it down and so glad I didn't! The third story with Liam and the woman who went to prison for her husband's murder got me so bad omg I was terrified for her and what they did to her in prison and what her husband did to her omg broke my heart. I tell you I love all these characters so much and will re-read this story again. Kudos to you Ms Author amazing writting

As identified, this is a 5 book series of a securities and investigations team. Each team member has their own book while all of the others are threaded through the complete series. This was a good read with compelling storylines. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 stars is because starting in book 2, the books started to become less story and more lesson. The second book seemed to get into the political stance of gun safety. It came across preachy on the topic. I don't read fiction to be preached to about the author's personal stance on political topics.
The next 2 books dealt with the very harrowing topics of rape and gang rape. The reader is not prepared for such harshness from the book's synopsis. I will give the author props for the thorough descriptions of the character's plights and bringing the terror to the reader, I just wish I was adequately prepared.
The characters are well developed, the storylines engaging, the writing executed thoughtfully. These are great stories if you are prepared properly for the violence perpetrated on the characters and can overlook the political stance.

Fantastic reading
This is a brilliant read. This boxset features a great group of guys who work for a security team. They are like brothers and when a threat happens they pull together. The women have all suffered traumas but these guys are just what they need in security and love.

Amazing Stories from this investigative group
This is a five books series about an investigative group call North investigation. These men with their skills have joined together as Brothers. As each characters are has individual as their stories and romances with their women.
It is fascinating to read each amazing story and the drama.
Highly recommended.

Wonderful
This is probably the best series I have read. Read this author's book previously and enjoyed them, but I think this set is by far the best I've read. Action, adventure, mystery, love. What's more to ask for.. Loved every page. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.

Wonderful epic
Deep, involved, twisting story line. I enjoyed each book..loved the well developed characters, and their variety. Ms. Kendrick is a well rounded writer, and I enjoy her novels.

An okay read
Book one was pretty good. Book two pretty lacking, it felt like words were being vomited all over the page. Book three was okay but not a favorite. Book four I haven’t quite made up my mind, ranking close to book two. Book five was a quick ending and predictable.

Meh
Rather contrived story lines, stereotypical characters, and a lot of editing errors. Still, the author clearly loved some of these characters and wrote with heart. Worst book I couldn't put down to the end.

Fast-paced, exciting, suspenseful and intriguing (sexy ) too!
Well developed characters, misdirection, loving relationships and never a dull moment. I enjoyed reading this whole series. The conclusion was worthy and satisfying.

This is a 5 book box series. It had great characters and even though each book was a different love story the characters interacted through out the series. It worth the read.
