Bliss comes home to look after her flighty mother’s farm while her mom is on her honeymoon. She runs into Luke, high school nemesis and then sweetheart at prom.
They’ve both moved on, but both still remember that night, that potential to be together. Working together to solve the crime of who’s stealing land from several elderly farm owners, Luke and Bliss grow close again, as adults ready to face their feelings.
I really like Luke’s grandfather, and others in the town who assume they’re together. Great humour with goats and water, interesting mystery to solve.

A wonderful, heartwarming story about second chances! Bliss returns to her small hometown under the worst of circumstances. She needs a job to help save the family farm, and the one man she hasn't been able to forget is her new boss. Be prepared for laughs and tears in this story full of heart tugs and smiles. The characters are well developed, the plot keeps you guessing, and the dog and the goat are adorable! I highly recommend!

I love Daisy the goat!
I mean, the other characters were wonderful and real and you love 'em the whole way through - but how often do you get to say "I love the goat" in a book review.
