Great little story... 3.5 stars
This was a great short read. Fit perfectly into my lunch break at work.

-no ow/on
-no violence of a sexual nature
-safe- neither with others after meeting
-some steam one thing that "bugged" ME. and I see it in several books
-decent epilogue that was 5 years out but could have used a bit more detail.

Great little story... 3.5 stars

Love this seriesssssd
This series is just fun dystopian themed smut. There’s not a deep storyline, but there is one. All of these books have an overlapping timeline so it’s kind of cool when you notice where they match in timeline. Just a around good Alexa Riley reads. Definitely my favorite stories from them!

secret rebel-Secret Rebel was another great read in this series. I loved it. They were apart physically for a few weeks. Quick read. Great story.

His Rebel, Book One -
Sylvia is a rebel, and I don't mean in a 'hates to follow the rules' type, though that certainly applies too, but as in rebelling against the way they're being forced to live. People are separated by class, and those found to be "lacking," are not only looked down upon, but also get the short end of...everything. When she learns she can make some money simply by causing a scene on camera, she's all in, but she never expected the sexiest man she's ever seen to be on the receiving end of her fist.
Brad commands the elite, meaning his word is law. He also believes, silly Brad, that he knows exactly how his life will play out. Well, Sylvia literally knocked that notion right out of his head...and some sense into him because he can't stop thinking about her now.

When Minnie seeks answers on how to help her people, she looks to the brewery, the place that seems to call to her. When she sees Owen, the connection is immediate and as they begin working together, resisting it becomes harder.
As secrets are revealed, not only that Owen is the leader of the Insurgents, but also that he is the boy from her memories, not dreams, they come together as fate always intended. However, the Regime has been preparing for Minnie's wedding, a pairing meant to further their cause, regardless of Minnie's wishes. The rules state once an elite reaches a certain age, the powers that be will decide who they are to marry.
Owen and Minnie know they must make their move now to free Minnie from that life so they can live the one they want, together, but they must overcome the obstacles thrown their way first. I hope Ryan's story is next. I'm curious to see what fate has in store for him.

It's great dystopian romance bundle. It was a bit different from Alexa. Different background story, but still has the same sweetnes, hotness and obsessive heroes, that no one going to stop them to claim theirs girls.

This review is for SECRET REBEL the third book in the Rebels series by Alexa Riley. I’ve already read and reviewed His Rebel and Her Rebel separately when they were first released. Naomi has lived on the Elite side of the wall all her life and she’s always had the best of everything. She keeps a low profile and works at the public library as an Archivist alone in a basement office. To the Insurgents on the other side of the wall she’s known as The Librarian and she’s doing everything she can to help them. She communicates with someone known only as O (Owen, the leader of the rebels) usually through notes placed in a certain library book. One day she gets a call from a reporter from The Dispatch inquiring about the murder of Brad Chalmers. The Leader was forcing Brad into an arranged marriage with a stranger - Naomi, and the two of them were having lunch. It was the first and last time she ever saw him because it was during lunch when a woman stole her purse and ran away and Brad chased after her. The unknown woman led Brad down to the docks where she shot him and he fell in the water. Ryan Sharpe is a reporter and he’s also good friends with Brad and doesn’t believe knowing his skills that Brad would’ve been so easily killed by the woman. He’s been told to stop digging into the case and as a payoff he’ll be promoted to Editor. Of course it’s not phrased that way to him but he’s well aware of how the Regime operates. If Ryan accepts the promotion he’ll be expected to marry and start having children immediately. When Ryan hears Naomi’s voice he is captivated and finds himself heading to the library to meet her. Naomi is just as curious about Ryan and she feels a very strong pull towards him.

Enemies-to-instant love. I enjoyed reading this new series. Insurgent Number One, Sylvia and Brad, Regime Loyalist, fall in love-at-first sight. Sylvia, cold-cocks Brad, during a news media live feed, knocking him down and when he has the ability to stop her lets go.
First word that comes to my mind reading this is, "MINE." This is a quick read Novella and it is one that I have already read twice, just to absorb the sweet, sexy, goodness that is always a reward for reading an AR story.
Her Rebel #2:
I am so excited that this is a dystopian story and it is wonderful. The characters are expressed with so many emotions.
Minnie and Owen were destined to be together from childhood. But were separated by their individual destinies. Minnie as an adult to be a nurse and Own to create the resistance and leader.
Now the time has come and Owen is determined to capture her heart.
Quick read and romance is forefront in this story.
Secret Rebel #3
Great ending to the Rebels Trilogy. I have enjoyed rereading each story and the last one is as great as the one's before.
Naomi is the"Librarian" who helps the Resistance with passing along information. She is the one that works late to complete what is required of her job, as a librarian.
Ryan is a journalist and is attempting to get answers from Naomi, regarding her date with Brad Chalmers, the Regime Leader's, Chief of Staff. Ryan is going to find out what really happen to Brad, because the truth needs to be revealed and he's his friend.

De este libro, aunque se supone que es una recopilación de las dos historias anteriores juntas, solo me lo he leído porque añade una historia más así que mi reseña va sobre la tercera historia.
Naomi es la bibliotecaria de la élite pero ella tiene un secreto: ha estado ayudando a la insurgencia no solo enviándole libros si no planos y otras cosas.
Ryan comenzó todo esto en busca de su amigo Brad pero acabó encontrando a Naomi y una nueva vida.
Muy dulce como final, por fin se deshicieron de la élite y pueden vivir felices y tranquilos. No me esperaba de quien era hija Naomi pero estuvo bien como sorpresita. Como siempre, entretenido para pasar el rato!

His Rebel
Loved this book. Very different than the normal AR book, but loved it too. It’s set in a dystopian future and part of Abby Knox, The Rebel series...so now I’m going to be checking out her series too. Brad is one of the elites and lives fairly wealthy as one of the Regime, who rules the world. Sylvia is a spitfire that is part of a rebel group fighting against the elites and the Regime.
These two meet when she clocks him on national television....it was priceless. She clocks him and he’s pretty smitten with her...love at first sight, read like that for sure. I loved it, he’s about 6’5, 250...that’s awesome, I don’t care who you are. After that he tries to track her down...these two can’t keep their hands off each other. Once he gets her in his building, he can’t even make it past the stairs. These two just had so much steam, especially in a world where it’s pretty much banned. They work on a plan to be together, because they can’t stand to be a part.
In true Alexa Riley fashion, we still get insta-love, baby batter and a great epilogue with an hea of a really good future they are building. Loved this book....and now I have to check out Abby Knox too...you are welcome.
Her Rebel
These two were like hearts and rainbows.....so damn sweet. And I ate it up. I love the world this book is set in and the storyline of the childhood love, grown into forbidden lovers. Owen and Minnie knew each other when they were young and played together. Circumstances happened and they got separated.
Fast forward and Owen is the head of the Insurgence and Minnie is a nurse for the Regime. He finds her again and pretty much keeps her. These two are each other’s first *swoon*...see, hearts and rainbows. Such a sweet love story in a difficult time period, but they make it work.
We get 2 virgins, soul mates, baby batter (for all of you that love that😉), an epilogue an hea with a side of AR humor, heat and charm. Sweet, sweet couple.
Secret Rebel
This is the 3rd AR book for this series. It’s Ryan and Naomi aka The Librarians book. This was a nice and naughty read. Ryan’s a bit on the naughty side and by a bit, I mean he is super ass naughty...floved it. This was a really good storyline and outcome for these two forces at odds. Obviously, I’m not going to tell you what that is...you have to read it.

Loved this book. Very different than the normal AR book, but loved it too. It’s set in a dystopian future and part of Abby Knox, The Rebel series...so now I’m going to be checking out her series too. Brad is one of the elites and lives fairly wealthy as one of the Regime, who rules the world. Sylvia is a spitfire that is part of a rebel group fighting against the elites and the Regime.
These two meet when she clocks him on national television....it was priceless. She clocks him and he’s pretty smitten with her...love at first sight, read like that for sure. I loved it, he’s about 6’5, 250...that’s awesome, I don’t care who you are. After that he tries to track her down...these two can’t keep their hands off each other. Once he gets her in his building, he can’t even make it past the stairs. These two just had so much steam, especially in a world where it’s pretty much banned. They work on a plan to be together, because they can’t stand to be a part.
In true Alexa Riley fashion, we still get insta-love, baby batter and a great epilogue with an hea of a really good future they are building. Loved this book....and now I have to check out Abby Knox too...you are welcome.
Her Rebel
These two were like hearts and rainbows.....so damn sweet. And I ate it up. I love the world this book is set in and the storyline of the childhood love, grown into forbidden lovers. Owen and Minnie knew each other when they were young and played together. Circumstances happened and they got separated.
Fast forward and Owen is the head of the Insurgence and Minnie is a nurse for the Regime. He finds her again and pretty much keeps her. These two are each other’s first *swoon*...see, hearts and rainbows. Such a sweet love story in a difficult time period, but they make it work.
We get 2 virgins, soul mates, baby batter (for all of you that love that😉), an epilogue an hea with a side of AR humor, heat and charm. Sweet, sweet couple.
Secret Rebel
This is the 3rd AR book for this series. It’s Ryan and Naomi aka The Librarians book. This was a nice and naughty read. Ryan’s a bit on the naughty side and by a bit, I mean he is super ass naughty...floved it. This was a really good storyline and outcome for these two forces at odds. Obviously, I’m not going to tell you what that is...you have to read it.

His Rebel - When you are on different sides of a struggle, you shouldn't have that instant attraction, yet, it happens! Sylvia and Brad live very different lives, but when they are brought together in an act of defiance, nothing will stop Brad from finding her. Once he finds her, nothing will stop him from claiming her. Once he claims her, she is going to be his forever. Lucky for him, Sylvia feels the same way, she just needs a bit more convincing. Brad is the man, and more, to convince his rebel that she belongs to him!
Her Rebel - I don't know how a book that has a definite dystopian feel, with that darkness glooming over it, and yet, there is a lightness to it. But this authour did it in this book, with Minnie and Owen, and it isn't just a metaphor. The story clearly sets out that the leaders, those for the people, put out lights for people to gravitate towards. To find hope, to gather, and to be positive in all the negativity that is part of their lives. Minnie and Owen met as children, and while she doesn't remember him, he invades her dreams. He lost her all those years ago, but once he finds her, he keeps close eye on her. She is drawn to the light, she knows what it means. She finally remembers him, and their forbidden affair begins. Of course, the so called "good guys" find a way to keep them apart, but they won't be denied. High on the emotions, peppered with sexy moments, and a fog laying over it all, and loving every moment it brought!

Ryan is a top news reporter for the state run paper, but he knows more is going on then he is being told. Naomi aches for the children who live beyond the wall, and helps them any way she can. Naomi had been tagged to marry Brad, but he 'died'. Ryan was supposed to marry Minnie, but their wedding was bombed. The revolution is coming, and these two just need to hang on until it is over to be together. Lots of longing, without the angst, and electric sparks when they are in the same room, Ryan and Naomi bring the final bit of hope to our dystopian tale with their HEA!

HIS REBEL is the first standalone steamy dystopian novella under the Rebel Series. This book is an enemies-to-insta-lovers romance between the Regime's commanding chief of staff and a feisty, sassy Insurgent. This was a delightful quick read which I enjoyed! Even though Brad and Sylvia came from opposite sides of the socio-political spectrum, they found a common ground - love. They fought for it and won! Loved this book!

I loved how everything was wrapped up in this last book in the Rebel series. Naomi and Ryan were super good together!!! All it took was for Ryan to hear Naomi's voice and he was done for!! And once he saw her! Forget it! He had to have her!

They had to go through some stuff to be together. Naomi had to be strong to help out the resistances. But in the end it all worked out for all of them.
“We made our choices and did what was right, and in the end, we created our paradise.”

It’s a good feeling when smut romance combines with a plot that grabs your imagination. Rebels is the third story that wraps up this series about a totalitarian future where people are separated by a wall and an elitist regime. I loved all the stories, and this one is a great way to round all the plots up as a big finale with secret plans, an organized Insurgence taking the final leap for freedom, and all the couples reuniting in bravery and hard-earned happiness.
Ryan, a savvy reported, and Naomi, and innocent and heroic librarian, fall in love over a phone call. I found that very sweet. The chemistry between them is powerful and sensual, and their intimacy is enhanced by danger, revolution and a final surprise that ricocheted up all the stakes. I enjoyed the espionage, the social commitment, the sweet romance and the explicit passion.

Rebels series is classic AR wrapped up with a bit of a different story. In this case it's dystopia, which I loved. We still get over the top love and virgins but the added dystopia is a great bonus and something that I've really enjoyed.
This review is specifically for Secret Rebel since that is the bonus and new story in the series.
Secret Rebel was everything that I needed. I'll be honest, when Naomi was in the first book, His Rebel, I never thought about her again. So I was a bit surprised to find that she got her own story. Whew, am I glad she did get her own story because Ryan is amazing. He had me swooning from start to finish.
What I liked the most about Secret Rebel was Naomi's role between the two groups. She has a bigger heart that I ever could have imagined and I loved the little twist at the end that I didn't see coming.
If you want over the the top cheesiness, with a protective alpha instantly falling in love with his virgin and a unique twist on a rebel cause, then the Rebels series is just what you need!

OMG, I loved this so much! We get 3 in 1 in this last one from the series and each one is super hot with action, steamy moments, alpha male who are protective, possessive and willing to do anything for their women, who are also strong-willed, innocent in the carnal sense but not for long of course ;) and who are loyal and stand by their men <3
I loved all of the epilogues for all of the stories for each couple and I'm so happy each one in this series had their happily ever after <3 and all the couples' are mentioned, Owen & his Minnie, Brad & his Sylvia and Ryan & his Naomi get their dream, working as a peaceful community away from the rest of the people who don't think like them and raising their families together :) It was wonderful to see their dream come true <3
