Ok I will admit I was very skeptical of this book.....A Fateful Encounter.... A reimagining of Fateful??? What does that mean? Did they just put a pretty new cover on it and change a few words and poof a new book? Was it a completely different story from the original which I loved? Well you can safely put aside the skepticism. This book was great. They took the basic story line from Fateful, and added a glimpse to what characters were thinking that we didn’t see before, they added new characters that at first I thought were just so cute I couldn’t help but love them (I did wish some mean things on them at the end but you will have to read it to see why) and parts to the story to make it a bit more believable, and it ended up being a complete story on its own. And while I still really really love Fateful I think I like this just a little bit more. So if you love vampires, romance, and a female character who can be badass but not be overpowering this is the book from you. Fall in love with Fateful in whole new way.

I can’t wait to see how the next 2 books in the series turn out.
