The Complete Firehouse 56 Series

Rate this book
These four firefighters are too hot to handle! Our marriage might be fake, but the heat between us is real. Brady
Cassidy was always around. The girl next door.
But as we grew up, my time in the military made us grow apart.
She isn’t my little Ladybug anymore.
She’s a confident, curvy beauty. And I want her to climb my ladder.
Until her mom got sick and everything changed.
Her mother’s dying wish?
To see her baby walk down the aisle.
I never expected Cass to ask me.

Cassidy
Brady is hot. So hot I can barely be near him.
Always has been. And he has no idea I have loved him since I was four.
But our timing has never been right, however now, my mom has little time left.
My idea to get married is totally insane, but for some reason he goes along with it.
At night, our passion ignites, and by day, he saves lives while I pick out cakes and favors.
Everything is perfect.
Until it isn’t.
Our lie could end up burning everyone we love.

She doesn’t want to get married, but she’s having my baby. Josh
Vanessa and I are practically strangers.
Except that we had a one-night stand.
And now she’s having my baby.
But I want to be more, more than strangers, more than friends.
I want to come home to Vanessa every night, throw her over my shoulder and have my way with her.
She’s putting up walls.
I break down walls for a living, she doesn’t stand a chance.
I’ll prove to her I’m here for her, and for our child.
Every step of the way.

Vanessa
Josh is on fire.
The way he looks at me, I can’t get enough.
But we’re having a baby, family has to come first.
We hardly know each other.
Can we really make this work?
He thinks so.
When he’s in his uniform and tossing his cocky attitude around, I almost believe him.
I never thought I would want to get married, but being a fireman’s wife…
Can I take the heat?

Playboy, firefighter, and now homeless? Not gonna happen. If the new EMT doesn’t agree to be my roommate I don’t know what I’ll do.
Since my parents took away my trust fund, things have been tight.
But my new roommate isn’t what I was expecting.
That doesn’t stop me from wanting HER.
Olivia wants to be treated like one of the guys.
I have to try. I only have a few months left to convince my parents I’ve cleaned up my act.
So I can get my billions back.
For now Olivia will just have to be my roomie.
We need to keep it platonic.
But one night after a fire call we’re both hot and bothered.
And when she tells me she’s never had an O, I have to turn up the heat.
Now I’m willing to give up everything to get what I want...her.

She was the one that got away. Desiree is beautiful, kind, and everything I've always wanted.
But didn't deserve.
I was rough, a criminal, a kid who needed help.
I'm the one who does the saving now.
I'm a firefighter.
And a father.
I'm ready to ignite our passion once again,
And this time the flame won't go out.

Debut author Chase Jackson invites you to meet the men of Firehouse 56. You're going to need a hose down after all this heat.

>Book Review – Complete Firehouse 56 series
>I am an independent reviewer. This box set contains all 4 of the Firehouse 56 series – January on Fire, February Burning, March Heat, and April Embers. All of these books end in an HEA. The theme in these books is love and family. Each couple has to undergo an attitude change in order to be happy together. There is a lot of witty and dirty firehouse banter that keeps the book light.
>There really aren’t a lot of actual fire/rescue scenes. More of those types of scene would not only fit in with the genre, but also act as a page turning element for the story. Some of the plots had a few large holes. For example, in one story a teacher runs into a burning school to save a student. She ends up meeting her fireman “mate” and the story totally forgets about the student as the couple starts their journey to their HEA.
>There are also a few scenes that would never happen in a real firehouse. No way a fireman on duty can stay back from a call to babysit at the station. That just isn’t allowed and any type of research would prove this point. I loved the characters and the basic stories, but some research and editing for content and typing errors would make this story 100 times better. This box set is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this series 4 stars.

Hot and exciting

Every story is hot and full of excitement. Love the friends to lovers, January love story, the funny and cute accidental patents, the reformed rich playboy to make and the single dad and childhood sweetheart love story. Good job Chase!

Had potential but not really romance material

These books are full of manwhores. How much can someone actually care about a past person or someone they're coming to care about if they're still sleeping with other people? The March book pissed me off because there was outside the relationship sex and the April book was my favorite until dude admits he was basically a manwhore. I don't understand books like this. That kind of behavior is not sexy. It's disgusting. He has a daughter and is having one night stands? One night stands are gross but doing so after having a child is even worse. Sure, he's still a man even though he has a kid, but if he's the tupe of person who doesn't respect himself or a woman so much so he'd do stuff like that, how would he teach a kid he or she should be respectful and expect to be respected? Any book claiming to be a romance that contains cheating, outside the relationships sex, or manwhores will get a 1 or 2 star from me for lying about being a romance. The writing itself was pretty good, but I just can't stand books like this that act kike this is okay. It's really not.

Read all 4 of these stories I have to say I really loved all Cassie and Brady story was filled with love and humor and a lot of the guys from the fire house. Vanessa and Josh story save lots of teasing and torment from the guys at the station. Olivia and Duke story was so different we did not have as much interaction with the fellow firemen. Then when I came to the fourth story I was some what disappointed that it was a whole new characters instead of one of the fellow firemen we all fell in love with in the other 3 stories. Desiree and Rory story was different in all ways to me there was not much of the other guys and their lives in this story it was some what of a disconnect but I loved Rory’s love for his daughter and raising her alone then get to the end and find out Des is pregnant and Rory is leaving firehouse 56 for another job just leaves me not liking this one as much. I don’t know about other readers but would have loved for the other firemen’s story also. Overall it all were great stories even with my disappointment in the last one especially.

I loved this Series on Firehouse 56!

I had already read a couple of the books in this series by Chase Jackson, but because of that I looked forward to the remainder. The books were well written, the characters, especially the firemen were hot and sexy, and the storylines held my interest. As for the sexual chemistry between the H and the h smoldered. I would certainly recommend this series and they would have received a 5 star rating had there not been some horrendous editing errors so I’m giving them a 4.5. Words like defence and offence are cringeworthy!

These books were ok. They felt hastily written and left out HUGE chunks of fairly important points in my opinion. It was also really random to have a series where you really NEVER go back to the previous stories couples. Between the first and second book, the female BEST FRIENDS don't talk. Like ever. Didn't see the point of making them friends to begin with if we never hear from them in times of need.

Same with the firefighters. They main guy from the first is all but non existent in his brothers story and the other stories.

Burning Hot

I purchased this box set because some how I missed February Burning. I received advanced copies of the other three. I enjoyed each and every one of them. At first I thought there would be 12 books, one for each month, in the set so I was sad to see the series end after just four. However, if you get too many books in a series it just gets annoying, and all good things must come to an end! This set is definitely worth purchasing and reading!

Absolutely brilliant

I began reading this because I wanted something different. I wasn't disappointed. Loved the first story but each following story was highly enjoyable and, in many ways, better than the last. This was not a case of read the first few books then bored by next. If you want passionate, sexy, interesting characters with very different facets to them then you will adore this set as much as I did.

CUTE AND HILARIOUS READING

Four separate stories about a group of firefighters working out of Firehouse 56. The characters created for this series are strong and independent. Each firefighter is struggling with their own special demons and relationship demands. Although each man is very determined to succeed in their jobs; they are also very capable of participating in light hearted fun with the brotherhood.

Loved the characters, but one big red flag.

Overall these books were simple, easy reads with well developed characters and great happily ever afters. My only complaint is that in every book, the guys from the firehouse have sex with women who are a "drunken fling". Sex with a drunk women is legally rape. Period. Without these scenarios this book would have gotten a five star review.

This is a entertaining box set that includes all four books in this series. Each book features the steamy romance between a hot firefighter and the woman that captures his heart. This is a great way to get this complete set of enjoyable reads at a bargain price. I'm posting a totally honest, voluntary review.

My dad was a firefighter many years ago. This book brought back a lot of memories. Loved Brady, Josh, Duke and Rory. Each had their challenges growing up, but ended up decent men. Intended or not, each story has a learning experience for the reader.....at least it did for me. Now I really hope the author plans to continue this series. We need more of Walker, Bryce, Troy and Logan!

Good boxed set. Four books could be stand along. Nice to read as a group. Four different firefighters. Some carrying on the legacy of their fathers. They all vary. Two brothers with lots animosity toward each other; one disinherited wealthy guy; one returning to the past and awakens. Ten each finds his own love. Oh, and by the way they are all in the local firelighter's calendar.

Very good series!

I was disappointed that the series ended at book 4. All four books share characters but each story is unique. The brotherhood of Firehouse 56 is quite strong. Good, strong characters with just a few flaws made these books very enjoyable to read. I would definitely recommend this series. Enjoy!

Nice Fireman Fantasies

I'm male, but I'm a sucker for a well-written romantic series and I enjoyed the 4 tales included in this collection. There was enough sex, suspense, action, and complications to whet my appetite! Recommended!

Firefighters

I feel like I need to move to a different town with some better looking firefighters after reading this because I was ditching hit and needed to be hosed off. Great stories, good character follow through during the whole series, not a ton of repetition.
