Somewhere hidden in the mumble jumble of this mess is a pretty darn good story. Unfortunately, it's buried in a poorly formatted book. Paragraphs-you either indent or space between them. Pick one. Character dialogue between characters runs together. Typos galore-doesn't anyone proof read before hitting the submit button anymore. That's just lazy. And miss-used words, that's what dictionaries are for. Example: Passed and past. One is action related and one is time related. Or smelt and smelled. One is making iron and one is odor past tense. I could go on, and I have only gone this far because fortunately, it takes nothing today for an author to rework a manuscript and resubmit it. I totally understand that English may not be an author's first language, but find someone to proof read your manuscript that has a grasp of it if you plan to sell an English version. Plus, if you're going to sell something, polish it up and make it a joy to read, not an effort!
This was a nice easy story of love, betrayal and murder. It is fast-paced story with some suspense, betrayal, murder and a dab of love sprinkled in to equal everything out. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait for book two.
I had to get over all the grammar mistakes but in general it was a nice relaxing vacation read. Not too difficult to keep up with the story as ibwas reading small parts at times.
