One way or another… Holden Lockwood never suspected the beautiful woman he saved from her ex-boyfriend during a drunken brawl was all a set-up. But he always was a sucker for damsels in distress, and if that means going the extra mile and letting her stay at his house to protect her…Now he’s falling head over combat boots for her and it seems she feels the same. But Holden has secrets, one in particular that rip their new romance apart like a land mine.
She always gets her man. Undercover FBI agent, Kendall Patton, has orders to get close to Holden Lockwood—whatever it takes. Suspected of stealing a high-tech decryption device, Holden is considered a threat to national security. Little does Kendall know he’s a threat to her heart. The deeper her investigation gets, the deeper her feelings get. But when she’s kicked off the case and Holden is arrested, it will take a SEAL team, a little theft, and a lot of luck to save him.
Can their relationship be saved? Or has trust been tested beyond its limits?

SEALs of Coronado Book 6. The team members are falling in love. This one had me worried because I don’t like lies or hidden agendas. She’s with the FBI and her job is to get the evidence to arrest him. Fortunately it’s a romance, so while it’s suspenseful and the feelings of betrayal are inevitable, you know they are going to work things out. And probably get a little frisky throughout. It’s a romance!
There is a bit of humor in this book. A bit juvenile but it cracked me up. “Mr. Stiffy perked back up at that.” So yes, some steamy sex too.
A fast and fun romance read.
Excerpt: “So, how exactly did a woman end her first evening out with a criminal she intended to arrest soon? Was a handshake called for…or Miranda Rights? A kiss would be out of the question, right? Holden made the decision for her. Stepping close, he slipped a hand behind her neck, tipped her head back a little, and bent his head to gently kiss her. It wasn’t much more than a soft peck on the lips. No pressure, no fingers tightening in her hair, and definitely no tongue. That lasted about two seconds…right up until they got a good taste of each other. Then that whole first date tender crap went out the window like an old fruitcake, and it was on like Donkey Kong.” Excerpt From SEAL to the Rescue by Paige Tyler This material may be protected by copyright.
SEAL to the Rescue SEALs of Coronado Book 6 by Paige Tyler ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really enjoyed Seal to the Rescue !!! It's such a great story, where I enjoy reading characters in the military romance. The story is the focus of Kendall Patton and Holden Lockwood, they are absolutely great and I really enjoyed reading about them. Holden wants a woman that will understand his job and is willing to be there when he is forced to go on mission and when he comes back beat up she can understand. But Kendall may not be who he thinks she is. Kendall isn't so sure she can apply harden criminal to him and she isn't sure of her feeling for him. I enjoyed the connection between these two and the way that they both tried to navigate their differences and build their relationship. This is a really well written story by Paige Tyler. I enjoy a macho military man that's charming, with a lots of charisma and is very protective of his lady. This story is so exciting with lots of drama, romance it's a fantastic read which will keep you turning the pages to read what comes next. WOW! Once I started reading another book in the Seals of Coronado series I didn't want to put my reader down. I enjoyed reading about Holden and Kendall. The secondary characters are from previous stories and they help made the book one of the best. The sex is explicit but not very frequent. This is a very enjoyable and emotional read that has plenty of action and things to keep you entertained and involved in the story. The guys are characters that when he is introduced at first seems he seems to be a villain in an over the top pantomime style but then towards the end I got the feeling that the author wanted to redeem him. Paige Tyler writes very sensual military pararomance but this book builts the tension allowing the couple to actually try to understand each other before just getting down to it! I am so happy I got the chance to read this book for my birthday it help made my birthday even more enjoyable. Thank you Paige Tyler you are a great person and a awesome writer. I highly recommend this book it's definitely one you want to read.
Explosive passion, excitement and betrayals keep readers glued to the pages as Holden falls for a woman with a secret. Holden and Kendall are strong, appealing characters that have lots of electrical chemistry which have sparks flying as the passion heats up the pages of this romance. The relationship builds quickly but has a major obstacle that puts trust to the test which keeps readers in suspense until the very end. The anticipation builds throughout this smooth flowing and fast paced plot as Holden discovers he been betrayed twice over which precedes an exhilarating battle as the SEALs take on a bad guy in order to save Holden from the situation he finds himself in. These hunky SEALs and their heroines continue to wow readers and guaranteeing they can’t get enough of this loyal and commanding team and the explosive trouble that finds them.
What was exciting about this book “SEAL to the Rescue” was after reading “SEAL with a Past” I was curious what Wes and Holden had to do for the equipment to help out Dalton to save his daughter. To learn it was another piece of tech from another technology company. Which adds to the curiosity of what is on the tech and why the robbery is not on the news. So as a reader I had to read on to find out. After an intense training session the team headed to Chasen’s wedding rehearsal and dinner when Holden sees a woman in trouble. A man was bothering this woman trying to get her to take him home and wouldn’t take no for an answer. So Holden stepped in. This is when we meet Kendall Patton. Who we later learn she is an undercover FBI agent to learn who Holden gave the tech to. What Kendall didn’t expect was how attractive Holden was, that there is such passion between the two. Of coarse a very interesting read. Even though this series can be read as a stand-alone but they are also all connected. It just makes me want to read the series all over again. I highly recommend this book and series.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.
Finally making it to the rehearsal dinner from the church, Chasen and Holden are headed to the private room when Holden hears a threat from a guy at the bar. Excusing himself from Chasen he hears the lady tell the guy she was waiting for someone. Seeing the perfect opening, he takes it and quashes any hopes the guy might have had.
I loved the first interactions between Kendell and Holden, you could almost feel the chemistry between them. When I first saw the word cover, I thought I misread it. They matched up so perfectly.
I really loved the way these to get to know each other, and how Kendall realizes that Holden has too much integrity to have actually stolen this 'Key' from the NSA, if he knew what it was.
Issac 'the ex' who is actually her handler, was annoying and petty.
I loved seeing Wes and all the guys and the Wedding of Chasen and Hayley was perfect in spite of the delays.
I really love Kyla and her abilities. Now if only Wes would wake-up!
Plenty of hold your breath tension, lots of romance, some tears and lots of sizzle!
I really must remember not to start one of these books at bedtime, I couldn't put it down until I was done!
SEAL to the Rescue is book 6 of Paige Tyler’s SEALs of Coronado series and it’s Holden’s story. I would strongly recommend starting the series from the beginning as there is so much going on in these novella length books, and some events from previous books flow over into the next.
As with the previous books, there is mystery, danger, a love interest and some good-hearted banter between the SEALs, but the camaraderie between these teammates is what makes them a true family.
So, that said, Holden and Kendall’s story is a cracker! Every time I pick up a book in this series, I am swept away into a world intrigue, unabashed sexual chemistry and light-hearted jokes among the team, but this story also has the added angst of secrecy and deception thrown into the mix. The characters are portrayed perfectly, the plot is amazing, and finishing this book with your afternoon cuppa, is a breeze.
I have no doubt other readers will devour this book just as easily as I did and be chomping at the bit for next story about Ms Tyler’s delectable SEALs.
Holden Lockwood thinks he is rescuing a lovely lady from a jerk of an ex. He has no way of knowing he has been set up. In more ways than one as we soon learn. Luckily for him, Kendall Patton, the lovely lady who is actually an F.B.I agent undercover goes with her gut and it's telling her he can't be a bad guy in any shape or form. Well, maybe it's not so much her gut as her heart doing the talking. Whatever it is she will risk everything – her career, her heart and even her life to protect him when it all breaks loose.
I am a sucker for when the hero and/or the heroine is in situation where you find out who your friends are and Holden has a lot of friends and those friends help Kendall rescue their boy.
SEAL to the Rescue was a one sitting read! Not because I didn't have other things to do, I just could not put it down. It has everything I have come to want and expect in a Paige Tyler book. A sexy SEAL hero, a kick butt heroine, action, drama, danger suspense and amazing ending. Get your hands on it, you will not regret it at all!
How far would you go for family? Once you found yourself in trouble, would you confess? Holden loved his team and would do anything for them. Then he meets Kendall and feels that same protectiveness for her. Little does he know that Kendall is an undercover FBI agent looking for evidence to arrest him.
Kendall is on her first undercover assignment as an FBI agent. She believes that she knows what kind of man she is going to meet from reading the case files and the FBI profile. Once she meets Holden, he keeps making her question all that she thinks she knows.
How will Holden and Kendall solve their differences? How will their situation affect their friends?
Totally loved this story between Kendell and Holden! It was wam, exciting, loving and full of suspense. All rolled into one! I loved the difficulty Kendall had deciding between her job and growing feelings for the man she was supposed to arrest. And how Holden opened up to her about how truly damaging his childhood had been. And also,..anything military is right ip my ally! I especially loved the camaraderie between Holden and his fellow SEALS. It was heartwarming the way they looked out for one another and considered themselves family. I look forward to the next book on another of their navy SEALS group! I highly recommend this book.
This book ties into Seal with a Past so I would recommend reading at least that one first, although all the books are intertwined. This one is about Holden Lockwood and Kendall Patton. Holden comes to the "rescue" of Kendall during a brawl not realizing that he is being set up. He can't resist helping out a woman who needs it and was an easy mark for Kendall. Kendall is an undercover FBI agent who has been tasked getting close to Holden and finding out whether he is a threat to national security. All evidence points to this however as the two come to know each other, she realizes that all may not be what it seems. And when the worst happens, what will she do to fix the problem?
I really liked this one! I wondered from the last book where the guys on the team for the things they needed in order to help and this definitely explained it. I love the fact that this series shows just how close a military team can be and how much like a family they truly are. Holden is one of those men who are sweet, funny, but can still be alpha and protective. Kendall is one of those women who will do what she feels is necessary if it's the right thing to do. And at the start, she thinks she is doing the right thing. But as this book shows, people can learn and change their minds about what may be right based on having all the facts and actually knowing the other people involved. These two together make a great couple and even though events happen that hurt feelings, they still manage to work through it all and make things right. Another great read by this author!
Holden was used to rescues. He was a Navy SEAL after all. When he saw a lowlife pushing a woman and not taking no for an answer in the bar, he stepped in and played her boyfriend. Being close, smelling her sweet scent and feeling her tight body as he wrapped his arm around her, made him want it to be more than playacting.
Kendall played along, wanting to prove herself to her FBI team. Yet, she couldn't help but feel more when he held her. She had to keep reminding herself he was the suspect and she was the authority taking him down.
When playacting became a little too real she began to wonder even hope something else was going on. She loved his team and their women. She felt accepted. Didn't a really bad guy have to have something that pointed to his bad side? When the whole thing got a little too real and they arrested Holden would Kendall just be able to watch or would she take a chance on him? It would be a big chance.
The team gets involved to help pull him out of trouble. Will Kendall be part of the team to let what is happening continue or will her sense of duty let her give it all up?
The steam is hot, the characters old friends and new, and the story a good one. I recommend this one to all and the series is full of winners just like this one.
I really enjoyed this story! It's well written and I loved the connection that we have to the previous story. This book does stand on its on though so you don't have to have read it, but if you have we get to know what Holden and Wes got up to in order to get the equipment they needed in the previous book. This flowed very well and was a fun read. I read it straight through and was entertained the whole time. The sex is explicit but not super frequent. I loved the development that we got between the characters and getting to know Holden better. There was plenty of action and intrigue in this story with a few twists thrown in as well. It will definitely entertain you the whole way through. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Seal to the Rescue is the sixth book in Paige Tyler’s Seals of Coronado Series.
I love Paige Tyler and her Seals of Coronado Series, however, Seal to the Rescue is my least favourite of the series. This is because I absolute hated the heroine, Kendall, and the choices she made thorough out most of the book. Yes, everything turns out for the best in the end but I think Holden deserved someone so much better. I’d say more but I don’t want to add any spoilers to my review.
All the books in Paige Tyler’s Seals of Coronado Series contain a happily ever after and can be read as a standalone, however, reading it in order will give you a better appreciation for the characters and the series itself. I can’t wait to read Wes and Kyla’s story in the next book.
In this addition to Paige Tyler's Seals of Coronado , Holden, a Navy Seal, comes to the rescue of a woman, Kendall, who seems to be having trouble with a pushy man. Their attraction is almost instant. Holden takes the opportunity to invite Kendall to a meal with the Team. Now things are heating up even more between the two. However, both have secrets that can make not only their attraction disappear but put one in prison.
The story contains Seal comradery and their strong team family. You are pulled into a building tension of past lives and can their secrets affect the rest of their lives.
Navy SEAL Holden Lockwood did a bad thing for a good reason. He stole something but has no idea what it was or what it does. That was the price he had to pay to help his Navy SEAL brother. Undercover FBI agent, Kendall Patton has job to do, that is get Holden to open up to her and provide the information needed to stop the sell of the stolen item and to arrest Holden. Neither of them expected to develop feelings for each other let alone love each other. What would you be willing to do to protect the one you love? I loved this book, it was a roller coaster ride from page one until the very last page. This is an original story with amazing characters. I can't wait to read it again.
Holden will do anything for his family of choice, not blood but he meets his match in Kendall. Holden and his Seal Team must keep secrets from the women they love can he forgive Kendall for doing the same. He is irresistible to Kendall, is she willing to sacrifice all for him like he does every day? You can't help rooting for the couple from the moment they first meet. Loving a Seal is never easy but definitely worth the effort! Couldn't put it down!!!
While all of the stories in the SEALs of Coronado series have compelling characters along with a certain amount of suspense and intrigue, SEAL to the Rescue really delivers with both Holden and Kendall being strong, capable, dedicated and determined individuals - which makes this story so good!
If you’re looking for a wonderful love story with suspense and action thrown in, look no further!
I voluntarily read an exclusive copy of this book, however, this is my honest opinion.
SEAL to the Rescue tells us the story of reformed bad boy SEAL Holden Lockwood and Undercover FBI agent, Kendall Patton. Unfortunately for Holden he’s Kendall’s mark. Fortunately for Kendall her mark is Holden. While this book ties into Seal with a Past it can be read stand alone. This book is filled with action, adventure and a bit of angst. Another rocket fueled rollercoaster ride from Paige Tyler.
Holden breaks up an argument at the bar between a man and a woman. Kendall is an undercover agent for the FBI. She is to seduce Holden to get information about the item he stole. His past has come back and bit him in the ass and now he is in deep. Will he spend the rest of his life paying for mistakes he made as a teen?
Not sure how I feel about this one. While I really love the characters, action, and romance of this book I was not totally thrilled with parts of the plot and conclusion. I really appreciate how the gaps from Seal with a Past were filled I thought the conclusion was a little too Hollywood action movie-ish. I really do like the book and would recommend it other readers.
I’m loving this series, it definitely is on my must re-read list. I was nervous at the beginning of the book knowing right away lies were happening, wondering how it was all going to work out. I really enjoyed the ending for Holden and Kendall and am really excited for Wes’ story next
Great read but was disappointed in the lack of action in the story. It was more about the romance instead of the case at hand. Action needs to be throughout the book not just all at the end of the book. Holden and Kendall are a hot couple and good together.
I liked the characters well enough, but I hate it when one of the protagonists is undercover, and has to lie to the other one. Just not a premise I enjoy regardless of how well or poorly it is executed.
Another great story. I love this series !!! If you haven't read any of this authors books you are seriously missing out. I highly recommend all of the books Ms. Tyler writes
