SUICIDE: Murder of Hope

Rate this book
My only child, my son, took his life five weeks after his twenty-third birthday. I very nearly followed him. No universal answers came to me from the experience; it still sucks and very few days go by I don’t feel the grief and emptiness. I don’t pretend to have answers for you either, and I’m not so arrogant to believe my words can stop you from doing what you will do. But, I can tell you a bit about it.

I’m not qualified medically and or in any other way on this subject other than having an unfortunate experience. I don’t write in an attempt to wring ‘something good’ out of my son’s suicide. If it actually helps someone, if it turns you away from killing yourself and you go on to live and find some happiness, it is no thanks to his death. If you are the parent of an attempted suicide, or a successful one, maybe you can find some answers here as well. I write to those contemplating suicide, and, to those left behind.
