Guardian Witch by Valia Lind is a wonderful story about the power of community and true love. I adored Connor's protectiveness and loyalty and envied Harper's fight and courage. Valia Lind did an amazing job telling their story and I would l LOVE to see an entire series about these characters and their town.

Review for Enchantics by Lela Grayce

The story starts after Lark, Venus and Rose have left their families for a new start at life with the purchase of a bar/bakery they called Enchantics.
Unfortunately Rose is questioned about a murder that’s occurred after a patron has left the bar.
With the Supernatural Police investigating the murder and the breaking at the bar, the three witches become close with the SP officers - Elan (vampire), Mattimeo (werewolf) and Tassin (fae).
The characters are so relatable and all have their own individual personalities - even if they are Supernatural. Can’t wait for more of Lark’s adventures to come.

Note: further reviews will be added once the other books have been read.

Enchantics by Lela Grayce was absolutely fantastic! It was described as Charmed meets The Covenant, which was super accurate. When the police show up at a bar/bakery owned by three young women, readers are thrown into a supernatural murder case filled with suspense, romance, and snark. This intriguing short story sucked me in so fast and I could not stop reading it. As I reached the end, I literally tried to turn the page multiple times to find more because I didn't want it to end. I think it might have actually cured the book slump I was getting into. I am very much looking forward to reading more about these characters and this new world!

What an awesome collection of stories so far! I love the mix of authors and the opportunity to try some new ones. The stories are great and have a great blend of action, romance, and mystery that have left me hungry for more. This is a great set for paranormal romance lovers or those looking to sample a lot of new authors. My reviews for the stories I've completed so far are below. I will update my review as I complete the remaining stories.

Enchantics- Lela Grayce
I'm hooked and need more! This was such a fun, magical, funny, and swoonworthy read, my only complaint is that it ended too soon. Lela has a unique way of capturing characters' personalities and nuances that makes you feel as if they have been friends for years. The story was very well-written, with an interesting plot and several what-just-happened twists. It's also sure to keep you laughing too. I have fallen in love with the story and hope the author will continue and expand it in the future. If Charmed meets CSI sounds like your thing, you have to give this a try!

Death's Angel- Jen L Grey
A dark and delightful story that will leave you needing more! I loved the idea of angels and demons infiltrating society and the twists that left you screaming at the author “she wouldn't do that, would she?” The story was well-written, the characters were great, and the mystery surrounding the prophecy left me in happy suspense. I can't wait for more and look forward to what promises to be an explosive conclusion.

Shades of Illusion- Nicole Kelley
An interesting start that I look forward to reading in the future. Not many details were given away, but I really enjoyed the characters and family dynamics. I also love the art and magic combination and look forward to seeing how the family dinner plays out.

Mink- Joy Olivier
A great and promising story with magic, conspiracy, and dystopian elements! While it's short, the author creates dimensional characters and intrigue that hooks you immediately and leaves you begging for more. I loved the mix of magic and modern day as well as the biting chemistry between Moxie and Talon. This was an amazing debut and I look forward to more from this author and story!

My review is based on: Enchantics by Lela Grayce

I need more story.. more book.. more everything!!!!

Enchantics took quite a turn, it started out in one direction, actually it started it like any other Urban Fantasy.. but then it flipped itself on its head. For for a minute there I thought Lela Grayce was going to do the unthinkable. But man oh man, I'm in love with this story, and it needs to be extended or made into a series, because I go some questions!

I don't want to give anything away, as it is quick read. But I'm going to tell you it's original, unique, unpredictable and special. The characters are a joy to read about, and I love Larks snarky, sassy no BS personality. You are not going to see the epic ending battle coming, or the twist that will chatter you mind!

I give this story my super high recommendation and stamp of approval.. and I will be reading more into this anthology, and when I have read through them all, I will be updating my review. But so far I can till you this, even if you can't read through them all, Enchantics well worth it!

Happy Reading

If you want to discover some new authors, anthologies are the way to do it. I picked this one up to read the ones by authors I love but I couldn't put it down after that. Sexy supernatural beings abound in this collections that is not for the faint of heart. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the bakery bar. Can't wait to add more of these authors to my kindle collections.

I can't think of a better way to be introduced to these authors than this anthology. Each story is easy to follow and whets the paranormal whistle enough that the reader wants to know what happens next. The characters are vivid and the stories are exciting and dangerous as paranormal fantasies should be.

My favorite is the last in the book, Forgotten, Mystic Darkness, book one. Lilianna is a strong heroine with a memory of her life locked deep inside of her. When her best friend goes missing, she goes looking and finds Ethan in the strangest of situations, hanging from the roof outside his window. The two embark on an exciting and dangerous adventure together in search of her friend and her memories. Hidden in the recesses of her mind are powers none of them can fathom, but what will they have to do to unlock these powers? And how are they going to keep her safe from a most dangerous mystic who wants to claim those powers for himself?

I was on the edge of my seat through each tale, and I can hardly wait to see what happens next! f

This review is for Enchantics by Lela Grayce.

This was a glimpse into the world of three young women striving to separate from their past and strike out on their own. I enjoyed the characters, they appealed to me straightaway.

It's really hard to say more than that, being a short story but my one thought while reading was that if this was just the start of a series, I felt that this should have focused on the back story before they opened Enchantics.

I don’t usually read paranormal books. I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of Owned by Corinne Mazille. Corinne has definitely changed my mind. The writing was fantastic. I absolutely loved Jessica and Axel’s story. I couldn’t put it down. Jessica was a strong, take no crap kind of girl that you can’t help but fall in love with. Axel, was a hot, sexy Alpha that I also couldn’t help but fall in love with. Their story had me intrigued from the very beginning to the end. It’s sexy, has laugh out loud moments. I can’t wait for the continuation of their story. Well done Corinne and I can’t wait to read more from you.

I'll be the first to admit paranormal romance is not usually my genre, but when I received an ARC of this one, I couldn't resist! The Guardian Witch story was a must-read. The premise was unique from others I've seen in the genre, and the bond between the leads, Connor and Harper, definitely stood apart. Author Valia Lind managed to fit SO MUCH worldbuilding together in just a few chapters, it felt like a fully fleshed-out world lacking in nothing. I understood the coven/pack interplay, the soulmate bond, the Ancients and Elders, and the dynamics of the separate groups perfectly.

And can we just talk about how Evan is a precious smol cinnamon roll and it makes TOTAL SENSE the boundary lines are broken down to help him? Because 10/10 on the believability scale, I would also end a line of ancient tension to save Evan.

If you're a paranormal romance fan - and even if you aren't! - I suggest giving this anthology, and especially The Guardian Witch, a read!

Review for DEATH’S ANGEL BY JEN L. GREY! This was a super fast paced short story. It was very entertaining and extremely imaginative! The plot was solid and this ended totally leaving me craving more. I loved that this contained surprises, true love, intrigue and a dash of danger. Ms. Grey's writing always leaves you a bit breathless and a tad bit more addicted 😉

When I started this book I wasn’t sure what to expect as I tend to read more books than short stories. I must admit it took a few chapters before I was hooked. The story is about 3 females who move into a small community and run a bakery/bar business however when a murder occurs which potentially involves them the police arrive. However all is. Or what it seems with them either and they are thrown into the supernatural world. We learn a little more about the 3 females but to be honest would have liked more about them and the background. The story has the start of romance, drama. The ending raises more intrigue particularly what does it mean and what happens next

Just finished Minx by Joy M Olivier and loved it! I can't wait to see where Moxie's new first adventure takes her. Definitely need more of her story in the future. Now to start Enchantics by Lela Grayce (which I already know I'm going to love as well).

**Edit**

Just finished Enchantics by Lela Grayce! I have yet to find a book of hers that I don't like and this was no exception. Such great world building, wonderful characters that are easy to relate to and so easy to get sucked into the pages. Can't wait to run into these new characters again soon!

Initially I did not know what to expect but once I started reading I am fully hooked! I absolutely love Lark, Rose and Venus and the three guys Tassin, Elan and Mattimeo! The ladies are all independent, capable, passionate, snarky and vulnerable as well!! I loved the connection between all the pairs and I am so excited to see what happens next! Bring on more! Highly recommended story!

A review of Flame & Fortune by Joynell Schultz

I love Joynell's Angels of Sojourn series. They are imaginative, entertaining, well written and full of empathy for people often caught in bad positions, not always of their own making, but even when it is their own fault, you can't help but be brought round to their side.
The main character in Flame & Fortune, Lena, is sent to back to Earth to distract a man called Kieran . She doesn't know why she has been asked to do this but upon meeting him, she thinks she understands why she has been chosen to do this 'favour'. She struggles to do what she thinks she is meant to but really feels that she is making a mess of her task.
Kieran is a man struggling to do the right thing at work and at home, looking after his little sister, but doesn't realise how lonely he is. When he meets Lena, he is immediately smitten. She lights up his life. Things go downhill from there but you'll have to read the story to find out how it ends.
This can be read as a standalone but I recommend you read all of the series because they are just so good. I hope that we see more of Lena and Kieran at some point because I feel as though there is more to tell. I also want to see more of all the characters from the series but I'm just greedy!
