10th Book in the Belador series. They should be read in order. So many changes, reveals, alliances and manipulation within a relatively short amount of time. The dragon and Belador stories are complex urban fantasy with a wide range of characters and interconnected paranormal realms.
Without too many spoilers, Evalle has come a long way from being alone in an unfriendly world to having unconditional love and support from a plethora of friends she has made into family. It feels so good when they all stand behind and for her. Feenix is simply a joy. Evalle gets knocked down a lot. Her enemies are horrid and treat her that way. It’s bloody and battle filled. But like a Phoenix, she rises.
Fantastic series. Not lightweight but with bits of humor in a few character traits. Mostly deep and dark world building with good winning the battles but evil continuing to war.
I just KNEW Treoir Dragon Hoard was going to gut me and turn me inside out! I was so nervous, yet I couldn’t wait to find out what Dianna Love had in store for my beloved Belador crew!
Time is unbiased; it can be a friend or a foe! Evalle, friends and loved ones, all learn this in one of the most nail-biting adventures yet! When an unknown foe comes into play Evalle is faced with the heart shredding decision to be a part of this evil’s plan to take down Daegan, the Dragon King of Treoir. Everyone knows a dragon loves and protects their hoard and Daegan is no different. Will his beloved hoard be the reason for his downfall or will that driving force to protect his dragon hoard at all cost be what pulls him through?
Daegan and some of his most trusted advisors are sent on a hunt to find answers that will lead them to Evalle after she is kidnapped. When the kidnappers sever the tie Storm has to Evalle he has no way to track her. The journey then takes the old fashion twists and turns of “time is running out” as each clue leads them to another. Storm must battle to keep control of his demon blood as he struggles to face not being able to immediately get to her. We get a glimpse into Reese and Quinn as Reese uses her skills and talents to help track Evalle and we get the idea that something is happening with Reese that has Quinn on edge. We learn more of Daegan’s past, some messy players in the quest for Maeve, Cathbad, and Macha to take power will be forced to answer some tough questions in front of the Tribunal. Will Maeve and Macha come out on top this time? What does Cathbad have up his sleeve that no one seems the wiser?
As the sands of time seep through the hour glass Storm must learn to trust those he has come to know, and love and he must rely on other’s gifts and talents or they may lose Evalle forever. The longer Storm goes without getting to her, he resigns himself to the fact he will die trying or die by her side if she can’t be saved. We discover just what the King’s hoard really is and what he is so willing to risk himself for. Evalle accepts that when destiny calls we must answer, but she does so on her terms! She must face her King to save those she loves or be the bait that he kills to save himself and his hoard. As the evil forces work to turn Evalle into a darkness and ugliness she is ashamed of, her “family” races to save her no matter what they may face.
Every step of this journey is a page turner! Dianna has proven once again she knows how to share her world in a way that keeps the reader wanting more! Just when I thought I wasn’t going to be able to handle what happens to Evalle and crew, Dianna takes you with her to the point you feel you are right there fighting with them and couldn’t bare to leave them without seeing what happens next!
By the time I had finished reading the tenth book in the Belador series, I had experienced numerous suspenseful escapades and a wide range of emotions. When Evalle and all those who support her principles have to face the idea of losing one of their own, I knew none of them would let it happen if at all possible. In this story, lives are in danger and tough decisions must be made to keep adored characters from being lost forever. Dianna Love never makes it easy for the diverse group of beings, and circumstances are truly dire for one cherished person in TREOIR DRAGON HOARD.
When Evalle Kincaid receives word about an altercation involving nonhumans is taking place in Atlanta, she knows her assistance could help influence the situation in favor of the good guys. Right before reaching the area, her luck takes a terrible turn. Now the Alterant is being controlled by someone very powerful, and his goal is to finally defeat Daegan, the reigning dragon king. Thinking none of her friends will ever find the location where she is being held, coming up with a plan on her own might be the only option for Evalle. As many individuals come together to rescue the woman who always puts others before herself, she is plotting how to keep her kidnapper from hurting anyone for whom she cares.
Any events in the Belador series are always original and cleverly carried out, and I was especially captivated by the many unexpected happenings in the latest release. Perilous adventures occur way too often, and I frequently feared that someone whom I really like would suffer lasting harm. Dianna Love builds tension by placing her characters in extraordinary situations, where good vs. evil and doubts continue to escalate until the final moment plays out. I certainly held my breath more than once during several of the precarious scenes, as the episodes could have gone in a number of directions. There is also lots of background history given for a few characters, and some of these facts were very important in what took place in the story plus could even have an effect on future books.
TREOIR DRAGON HOARD perfectly balances any risky threats with emotional issues, and the result is an urban fantasy that constantly entertains. Evalle and her large group of friends have been through many ups and downs since the first Belador story, and a connection has been formed with them as their personal lives have been exposed over many years. I have wanted Evalle to finally be happy with Storm, yet with so many enemies against her, I feel the battle is ongoing. In this book, the emotional toll is at an all-time high. I am very eager to see what will occur in the next installment, and hope there will be plenty of familiar faces once again.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of the book, and all comments are my honest opinion
Treoir Dragon Hoard is another superb addition to the Belador series! Since we were introduced to Daegan the Dragon King I have loved his character and I always want to know so much more about him, each new story we get a little bit more revealed about him and i'm just dying to know who his mother is. He is a great leader and protector of the Belodors that will fight anyone or anything that threatens anyone that is friend or family. In this book Evalle gets kidnapped as bait to lure Daegan to try to claim back his hoard, he as the leader of the Beladors goes all out on a limb to try and find and save her even though it could mean his own death. She's been taken to a realm where she can't be traced and we see Storm having to fight with his inner demon self not to lose his grip of who he is in his anguish to find his mate.
Evalle faces even worse challenges of trying to survive and stay alive while kidnapped, she is given an ultimatum and has to choose between helping to destroy her Dragon King or she will condemn everyone she loves. Evalle is a fighter and doesn't take well to being threatened and tries to fight back at every turn.
We see the friends and allies of Evalle and Storm all pull together in this book as they get sent on a wild goose chase to find her. They face many obstacles along the way and dead ends that leave them all baffled but they don't ever give up hope of finding her. Bonds and friendships that were broken before find a way of mending and healing themselves between key players in the story that made me love these character even more, the way that they will do just about anything they can without question for each other is just so amazing.
Sometimes when you've been reading a book series for a long time things can become a little "samie" but not with this authors writing, her stories are always action packed and full of fresh ideas that wow me every time I read one of her books, she is a wicked mistress of suspense and mystery and her storytelling is just captivating.
This novel was so good. It being Treoir Dragon Hoard I figured that the entire novel would be about Daegan and that we would learn a ton about his family. And though that wasn't the case we did learn more about Daegan and who the mysterious dragon at the end of the last book was. In this novel Evalle is kidnapped and is told that she must kill the Dragon King or all of her loved ones will die a terrible death. She refuses to hurt anyone but when her captor kidnaps a loved one and kills him in front of her she knows she must do what she has to in order for everyone to survive.
Though she doesn't think that she will survive her hell; her mate, Storm will never stop until he reaches her. He will accept no alternative except the fact that she will be at home with him. To his surprise, they have a small army of people who are willing to do anything to get her back with them. Including their Dragon King. Which is HUGE because up until that point no leader did anything to help Evalle.
This novel is the perfect next addition to the Belador series and I wish it would have been longer. The cliffhangers Dianna Love puts in her novels are killing me. Slowly. Until the next novel comes out and it starts all over. This is a must read if you love the series or want to read a good Urban Fantasy novel.
If world-building and plot development were Olympic sports, Dianna Love would be a gold medalist. I swear, she’s a genius when it comes to writing the type of stories that include puzzles that just keep evolving and developing. Everything comes together in the most spectacular way, and before I even know it, I’m already fully entranced with the next step of the story. The timing is perfect. I never feel like I am waiting around for answers, or that something is dragged out.
Treoir Dragon Hoard was non-stop action, right from the start. Poor Evalle just can’t catch a break, but it was great to see everyone come together for her. Usually she’s sacrificing herself for them. I always prepare myself for the high velocity story, but this one still hit me hard. My heart was breaking with this book. I’m not gonna lie, there were tears. It took EVERYTHING I had to not flip to the end of the book to see how it ended.
In my opinion, this is one of Dianna’s best books to date. I love that it seems there is so much more to come with series. I want it ASAP. I want to see more of the couples, more of the strong female characters, more of the fantastic family dynamic between the cast of characters, more of everything. Do yourself a favor and read this series. If you like a long series that keeps building with each book, but never runs out of steam, this one is perfect.
This is the tenth book in the Belador Series. Evalle and Adrianna are racing across town when they are struck by vehicles and go down. They are alive but someone has kidnapped Evalle, and the stone that Storm has placed in her chest so that he can always track her has been ripped out and left behind. The Beladors are left with so many questions. Who? Why? Where did they take her? There is no ransom left behind. They will have to use everyones skills, human and non-human. They have got to find her before its too late. Daegan has no idea that someone from his past has something to do with this, and Evalle is being used to trap the Dragon. I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. This book was fantastic, and hard to put down. There was a lot of action, and I am looking forward to book 11.
I loved this book! Poor Evalle gets in a car/motorcycle crash and is seriously injured, gets abducted, and her loved ones are under threat to be killed if she doesn't do as her jailer demands. I love Evalle, she's fierce, strong, protective, honorable, lovable, crafty, intelligent, and would lay down her life to spare another. Evalle would be amazed, so many volunteer (humans and non-humans) to team up and rescue her. This book is fast paced, full of mystery, action, stolen treasure, danger, dragons, magic, gods, battles, Beladors, suspense, secrets and more! I loved getting comfy, putting my feet up and immersing myself in this amazing Belador world! I can't wait for the next book to come out!
Evalle and Storm and all their friends are back, facing off against old and new enemies. Evalle is captured, and taken somewhere that even Storm can't find her. The race against time begins as he and their Dragon King Daegan and the rest search desperately to find her.
This series just gets more interesting and fun with each subsequent book. Dianna Love is a true master of Urban Fantasy/Suspense!
Treoir Dragon Hoard is the latest pulse pounding installment in Dianna Love’s Belador series. Evalle’s life started out as hell and she has had to fight for every bit of happiness she has had. It was all training for the hell she goes through in this book because now she has things to lose and to live for. I am always amazed at these stories that give so much but leave me wanting more.
Treoir Dragon Hoard, is a gripping addition to the Belador series by Dianna Love. Evalle, Storm and their friends are back but loyalties will be tested as the enemy draws near. This fabulous story with its magnificent world building and well written storyline had me from the opening chapter and kept me engaged, frozen reading until the very end. I highly recommend this book and series.
Ms. Love never disappoints. Another action/adventure filled Belador book that only leaves me wanting more! The next book can't come soon enough for me!!!
Treoir Dragon Hoard by Dianna Love is the 10th book in her fantastic Belador series. As I have said before, Dianna Love is one of my favorite authors, and this series is one of my top favorites. Once again, she gives us an exciting tense on the edge story that keeps us glued to our seat from start to finish.
Daegan, the dragon leader of the Beladors and Treoir, continues to make his team top priority, and has no qualms about putting his own life in danger. Treoir Dragon Hoard starts with Evalle (our wonderful series heroine) going on a mission with Adrianna, which ends up as a trap, with her being kidnapped. Storm, her lover, cannot sense Evalle, since his connection to her was ripped out of her chest during the kidnapping. Where is Evalle, and why did they kidnap her?
The story centers on Daegan, Storm, Quinn, Adrianna, Tristan, Reese and the rest of the team desperately trying to find Evalle. The other POV is with Evalle, as she is now in another realm where no one can find her. The enemy is in control in this realm, leaving Evalle in bad shape unable to shift to her gryphon self to heal. She is forced to do the enemy’s bidding to fight off monsters; which is expected from her to be able to fight Daegan, or her friends and family will all die. What is Evalle going to do?
Storm is desperately trying find his mate, and also try to keep his calm, as all the Beladors and Alterants are working together to help find her. The story does not let up, as we are on the edge of our seat throughout the whole book. I will not tell too much more, since I do not want to give spoilers. What follows is an exciting pulse pounding adventure, with all of our favorites playing major parts. We also get to see some of our recurring villains such as Macha, Maeve, Cathbad, as well as the new villains, who are just as evil. I have to say that I was thrilled to get to see a bit more of my favorite gargoyle, Feenix. ( I love my sweet Feenix).
Treoir Dragon Hoard was an exciting, wild fantastic race to the climax, holding our breaths to see how it would end. Dianna Love always gives us great characters, even the bad ones. I love how she makes wonderful heroines, who continue to play major parts of the stories; Evalle, Adrianna, Reese and Brina.
If you love paranormal, urban fantasy, suspense and romance, with fantastic characters you should be reading this series, as Dianna is one of the best. You need to start with the first book, in order to know Evalle (one of the best kick-ass heroines) and all the Beladors. If you have not read Dianna Love, what are you waiting for?
The Belador series has for quite some time been one of my favorite UF series. After the leadership of the Beladors has changed and the dragon Daegan is their new king I thought Evalle would finally catch a break. Alas, it was not to be. Evalle gets herself abducted early on and her friends rally to find and rescue her. All the while different factions plot and scheme to bring about the downfall of Daegan in order to gain dominion over the Beladors.
I love that the series follows the lives, loves, friendships and fortunes of different protagonists and explores the interactions between different paranormal creatures, humans and gods. Although I was looking forward to this installment quite eagerly it unfortunately didn’t turn out to be one of my favorites. In the past Evalle was shown as a capable and savvy Viper operative, with quite a lot of experience in the field. But then she gets captured by what seems a rookie mistake. She sees her friend’s car deliberately rear-ended and then she rushes to help her without pausing and assessing the situation first. It’s a rather plump trap and she falls into it quite cluelessly. And that is not the end of her acting not very brightly. Her captor tortures her with visions of Storm and at first she believes it’s real, but later on comes to recognize it was only a illusion. So she knows that her captor is capable of creating strong illusions, but the next time she is confronted with seeing something that should not be possible, she never questions it.
The other thing that bugged me was that after what transpired in Demon Storm and subsequent events Evalle and Storm still haven’t formalized their mating bond; they are waiting for the right moment, only it never comes, instead they are torn apart once more and the lack of that bond is what precipitates the events in this book.
I liked that we get some more puzzle pieces about Daegan and dragons and about the origin of Noirre majik. There are also hints that Adrianna and Isak might not be quite finished with each other. Overall this installment seems to raise more question than answer them, new possibilities are alluded to and new players introduced. So I would rate this 4+ stars.
OMG, another great hit from the Belador series. Love, love, love, the Belador series. The suspense, the action, a little more history on our beloved Dragon King, the loyalty and friendships, the willingness to ban together to save one of their own all rolled into an epic tale. Poor Evalle always going through some ordeal or another. She can never find peace. Nothing comes easy for her. She endures so much pain and suffering in this one that the tension is palpable as you wait for everyone to actually locate her, and then they have to find a way to rescue her. I fall in love with Storm more and more with every book. He is a man who will walk through fire for his love. He has definitely grown in patience and control over his demon and in his ability to trust others to help him. Daegan the Dragon King is another that I find myself falling in love with. He is tough, smart, witty and FEARLESS!!! He is the best thing to happen to the Beladors and Evalle. I love when he puts the tribunal in check. He is great with word play, manipulation, leadership and shows no fear at all to anyone. The ending is a definite cliffhanger leaving you in suspense and longing for the next release in this series. I can't wait!!!!
Dianna does it yet again! Wow! This one is even more fast-paced and action-packed than the last, so call in sick for tomorrow now!
Ok, so just to prepare you, Evalle and Storm are at it again. (These two just can NOT catch a break!) And brace yourself - thar be dragons! You read that right. D-R-A-G-O-N-S! Whoo hoo! We jump cities, continents, and realities to reunite mates and uncover their enemies.
Along the way, we have seeds of new romances, new alliances, new enemies, and new possibilities. And yep, there's action, intrigue, romance, and a WHOLE NEW opening for about five (*hint hint, Dianna!*) more books! The gods are meddlesome; the magicks are powerful; and we've entered into a whole new adventure with some wicked old bad guys. Don't worry, there's a little help from their friends along the way...
So, find your comfy spot, put the kiddies to bed, open that bottle of wine and delve into the next Belador adventure!

As Evalle and Adriana leave one Belador call for another, a vehicle manages to T-bone Evalle on her bike AND Adriana in her luxury sportscar. Adriana’s hurt, cut and bruised, Evalle’s powers are bound, her bones broken, her emerald clawed out, in addition to cuts and bruises. Bleeding and slipping in and out of consciousness, Evalle is kidnapped via teleportation and Storm is crazed!
As Belador enemies on the council celebrate Evalle’s disappearance, Storm and Daegan gather power hitters to help locate and retrieve Evalle. Carefully the team evaluates enemies of Daegan in addition to the usual suspects (Queens Macha and Maeve) and at least two minions are looking to rise in the ranks with separate plots.
Meanwhile, Evalle’s training while physically broken and is told her situation won’t change until she agrees to the devious plot. Another minion awakens a confused blue dragon while feeding her truths and untruths in preparation of setting her loose on Daegan. Rating: 4.25stars
This is a great book; this is the tenth book in the Belador series written by Dianna Love. Two thousand years ago, someone stole the king’s treasure from Daegan’s father. An unexpected enemy uses this hoard to set Daegan on a path to his ultimate demise by dangling the one bait everyone knows the dragon king can’t ignore—protecting one of his own. While racing to help a friend, Evalle lands in a trap where she’s given the unimaginable choice to either destroy her dragon king or condemn everyone she loves to die. Even her Skinwalker mate, Storm, has no way to track her this time. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.
Such a wonderfully written book. Dianna has done it again. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
Evalle has been kidnapped!!!! Storm, Daegan, Adrianna, Quinn, Reese, and Tristan are looking for her. They are bouncing from place to place to try to find her. When they know where she has been taken, they don't hesitate to go to a different realm to bring her back. The only thing is they to bring her back would be death for her.
They find out that there is another dragon that has been in that realm for as long as Daegan was captured (2000 years). No one stops until Evalle is safe and back home.
Oh and Tzader and Brinna finally get married.
I received this wonderfully written ARC for an honest review.

With each new Belador book that comes out, I get more and more excited for the adventures that comes with it. I cried throughout this entire book for the pain that Evalle was going through, the difficult choices she had to make, and I wept in joy at seeing everyone come together to try to save her. I could truly feel all the love in this story. I'm hoping that actually everyone will stop going after Evalle, because I think it's apparent now more than ever that she has a full army that's willing to die for her. They all choose to do it, and that says so much about what a strong character Dianna Love created.
I'm truly looking forward to more of the Beladors, and how Storm and Evalle can grow even more together.
Great action from the start. Evalle gets kidnapped and teleported to a different realm so cant be tracked, this sends Storm her mate into a constant battle to keep control. Not knowing who has taken Evalle, Why they have taken, her, where they have taken her... All the usual favorite characters and more nasty beasts. Full of anguish, rage and very little hope we follow all the players on the hunt to save Evalle even to the point of risking their own lives. Meanwhile, Evalle is held, not allowed to fully heal, although as was near death allowed just enough healing to do their bidding. You won't be able to put it down until you know what happens!
Another fantastic addition to the Belador series. It’s the 10th book in the series but it’s as interesting and engaging as the first. This instalment is filled with twists and turns, action and emotion. Dianna draws you into the Belador world and you want to join their family. You feel the caring as they search for kidnapped Evalle and want to deliver the smack down their enemies deserve. As always Dianna satisfies with questions and twists answered, but gives enough intriguing info and hints and new characters that leaves you wanting more. And while I won’t say “write faster”, I will say I’m already eagerly waiting for the next book.
I seriously enjoyed this installment of the journey. Diana seems to create non stop tension and susspence that I really love.
*Spoilers* Overall the story was great but I was left a little disappointed with the end. I was hopping we would see Evail able to fully recover and transform into her Griffen and she seemed to need to tell Storm something. perhaps this will be the relationship tension for the next book but I was really wanting a touch more. I felt discounted by the end and wanted one more chapter. So many unanswered questions like Reese and Quinn etc...
In Treoir Dragon Hoard, the series takes a deeper dive into the lore surrounding Daegan, the dragon king, introducing a treasure that has been missing for two millennia. The narrative intertwines Evalle's perilous journey with Daegan's quest, creating a tapestry of suspense and intrigue. While the plot is rich with action and the stakes are undeniably high, I found that my emotional investment had waned compared to earlier installments. The characters' struggles, though intense, didn't resonate as deeply, perhaps due to the rapid pacing and shifting focus. Nonetheless, the book serves as a solid continuation, offering a blend of fantasy and adventure that keeps the series moving forward.
Preordered Treoir Dragon Hoard: Belador Book 10 on June 15, 2018 and could not wait to read it. I was not disappointed, Mrs. Love has done it again. Treoir Dragon Hoard is jam packed with excitement a definite page turner. I loved that we got to learn more about Evalle, Storm, Adrianna and Deagan. Truly enjoyed Deagan's history and can't wait to see what the future has in store for him everyone else. Can't wait for the next book.
Book Ten and they just get better and better! I love this series! Belador Alternate Evalle walks into a trap and is kidnapped. She is tortured and told she must fight the Dragon King Daegan to the death. They know the King and her mate Storm will come for her. First they have to find her. Humans and non-humans are involved and the story is so intense it was hard to put down! I can't wait for the next one!!
This great series was started by Dianna and Sherrilyn Kenyon..Dianna has taken it to great heights and is a must read for any paranormal reader. Book 10 in this series.. although they should be read in order.. Evalle is kidnapped and even Storm cannot find her..She has disappeared into thin air..The whole gang must work together to find her.. A fast flowing story that will keep you hooked from beginning to end.. Cannot wait for the next exciting book in this great series.
