Missing, Maybe Dead
Paul Fischer has been asked by a former colleague to help find out what happened to the professor's wife who disappeared nearly 30 years ago. The man is dying of cancer and doesn't want to go without knowing what happened to his wife.
Paul is reluctant to take on such a challenging task, but Pam is involved in a big case for her law firm and she want him out of the house. To complicate matters, his friend's daughter and her child immediately pull on Paul's heartstrings when he meets them. Saying no doesn't become an option. And, of course, in true Paul Fischer fashion, the choice nearly gets him killed.
