Enliven the body and tap into the full force of female energy with these natural recipes for total body decadence, including Rose’s Lustrous Lakshmi hair mask, Revitalizing Body Scrub, and Nourishing Face Oil, each made from everyday household ingredients.
What I like the most about this book are two things: First, the author uses natural ingredients. Second, she uses ayurvedic ingredients, which is not that common in this sort of books. I would have liked the book to explain more about the properties of the ingredients and their history. I would have like to know about historical queens and kings and what ingredients they used. I think history was missing from this book. Instead, it's mostly a recipe book. Nothing special about it. Still, there are some recipes I have never heard of, such as using sesame oil as a mask. I guess any rich oil would do. I wonder if it leaves a greasy residue in the hair and how to deal with it. In conclusion, I was not impressed, but this book could have been so much better with more research. Still, the ayurvedic ingredients intrigued me.
