Rate this book
Like no other book before it, this work delves into the deep, dark, and mysterious undertones hidden in Tinsel town’s biggest films. Esoteric Hollywood is a game-changer in an arena of tabloid-populated titles. After years of scholarly research, Jay Dyer has compiled his most read essays, combining philosophy, comparative religion, symbolism, and geopolitics and their connections to film. Readers will watch movies with new eyes, able to decipher on their own, as the secret meanings of cinema are unveiled.

Sequel to the highly informative, thought provoking, and very entertaining Esoteric Hollywood, the sequel focuses a bit less on the mystical side of the esoterica, and more on the predictive programming side of the hidden knowledge spectrum.
Showcasing the hidden in plain sight designs of the Western technocracy through such films and or franchises as the Terminator series, Matrix trilogy, Tron, and the early German film Metropolis, Jay Dyer shows you just how far back the designs for current day forms of societal control (the Internet, technological obsessions, artificial intelligence, and yes, even sex bots) have been revealed in film.
Through such films as the Aviator, the Godfather trilogy, and the excellent, weird television series Twin Peaks, Jay also guides you through the relationship between the film industry, banking, organized crime, intelligence agencies, and the occult.
Certainly this will raise some eyebrows, and stir up controversy, but it is a damned fine read and one that is well researched, footnoted, and cited for references.

Dyer is one of the gems of alternative media - knowledgeable, articulate, humorous, and insightful. Esoteric Hollywood 2 is every bit as good as the first book.

Perhaps the most valuable aspect of Esoteric Hollywood is how Dyer relates ancient esoteric philosophy, which is not widely known or understood, to the Hollywood dreck with which we are all too familiar.

After finishing Esoteric Hollywood 2, I started reading Manly P. Hall's "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" and soon realized that I had already received a primer on the material - from Jay Dyer via Jaysanalysis.com and his Esoteric Hollywood books.

It's not difficult to see that those who "run the show" are steeped in occultism and esoteric philosophy, while keeping the public ignorant of the same. Dyer's work provides relatable, comprehensible, accessible primers to these subjects we, the public, sorely need to understand and correctly interpret the world in which we find ourselves.

After doing more research via podcasts, it has come to my attention that Jay is a whyte male supremacist bigot who has an unnatural obsession with "Social Justice Warriors" and "fighting the trans agenda."
Unfortunately, this incel bigot thinks equality is some hidden political agenda being played out in Hollywood movies.
Imagine being so full of hate that the very thought of equal rights for ALL is something to be feared and rejected.

Part 2 of Dyer's esoteric analysis of Hollywood movies and tv series is even snazzier, funnier and on point than Part 1. From 2018, the transhumanist, AI and other agendas he discusses in relation to the films he analyzes have developed since then more or less as outlined in the movies he picks apart. It's also a very good way of picking out some films to watch you may have missed.

I discovered this book while watching an analysis of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining on YouTube (some really interesting things on that subject!). While many of the subjects are interesting, this book is so badly written that it completely ruined the whole experience. It is in desperate need of a competent editor, and the incessant self-reference is incredibly annoying. It's a shame because with some polishing this has the potential to be a thoughtful, fascinating read. However I was utterly disappointed by the author's immature voice, attitude and writing. 2.5 stars.

Great read.

I very much appreciate the time and work the author has put into this book.
I also like the way that even though the subject matter is serious and dark, the sense of humour of the author is welcome.

It is well referenced and features some of my favourite films.

Would also recommend Jay's first book.

Another great from Jay

Jay Dyer does a great job of looking through these movies and seeing the predictive programming that Hollywood is throwing at the public. Can’t wait to start book 3.

Here's an informative book that you might tuck under the pillow of your friend or family member that sits there and watches TV and says they're not religious.

Why do so many films dive into or depict witchcraft or the bad sides of religion, promiscuity, and over represent Jews?
Could they all be connected?
