***This is a dark romance. Expect dark things to happen.***
Kidnapped by a Russian mobster
Forced to write filthy novels in a locked underground room? That's not how innocent and sheltered Lily thought she'd end up when she booked a backpacking trip to Russia. The man who stole her demands she write dirty stories if she wants to gain her freedom.
Her captor is the scariest man she's ever met, so why does the mere sight of his powerful body make her melt? Rostov is everything she never wanted -- big, rough and brutal. But he looks at her like he wants all of her, forever, and his dark touch thrills her like nothing before.
He wanted her sultry stories. Now he wants her wicked curves
Rostov has ruthlessly clawed his way to the top of the ebook charts on the back of a stable of captive ghostwriters.
Innocent Lily, fresh out of Iowa Arts College, with her naive ways and creative writing degree, is just what he's looking for.
The plan is simple: lock her up and break her in. Except that her luscious curves and doe-eyed innocence are the first taste of an obsession. Every thought of her consumes him.
Lily’s too inexperienced to understand what she’s doing to him. Her scent. Her taste. Her innocent need.
He’ll show her. Teach her. Mark his claim on her untouched body. Over and over again. Until she knows who owns her. Until she cries his name and begs for more.
Sweet, fragile Lily...his angel, his muse, his obsession...

Sexy dark romance AND sly satire? Yeah, and it's good.
Finally!! Now we know what’s behind all those poorly-written, bookstuffer, rip-off romances in Kindle Unlimited! A huge, sexy, mobbed-up Russian kidnaps women and forces them to write erotic best sellers for him and his criminal network.
I never thought someone could pull off satire AND dark romance, but this book does. It's a very meta take on Amazon's book-stuffing controversies, but it also gives an inside look at what writers go through (minus the captivity).
This isn't a comedy. It's satire. It's written as if it's totally serious, and only the reader is in on the gag. It’s funny because it's played straight, and it delivers surprisingly steamy sex scenes, too.
Well this book was definitely a new take on romance Makes you wonder how the author's mind works but it was a great read .
Lily is backpacking her way through Europe when she is kidnapped now she is been forced to write erotic fiction which her capture sells as his own Ebooks. But why is sh attracted to her capture Rostov runs a stable of captive authors (now we know why some authors write so quickly) but only ones curves attract him. Will they have any chance together or is this an obsession that will burn bright and fade
This is a extremely well written book didn't actually find any typos or grammar errors which was a nice surprise. The book could be quiet dark at times and could offend some people

A hot hot number when Lily an English major who want to write novel, finds herself alone in Russia instead of with her jerk boyfriend she definitely dies to have fun at a nightclub where she meets Rostov much older then her but so sexy, when he starts touching her she thinks she's going to faint when he takes her to his home he gives her the best experience of her life, you see Lily is a virgin, and when she wakes up in a dormitory with other girls she thinks she is dreaming until the reality hits her she is held there to write explicit books and Rostov is going to give her all the inspiration she needs. Keep a cold drink handy

I like this book because of its unique plot. I thought the characters were interesting and the author did a good job of selling the idea. I didn't like the trafficking aspect. And I didn't like the first sexual encounter between them because it seemed like rape to me. I really didn't like the caviler attitude he (and the author) had towards the women. While the writing was good, I didn't appreciate the author romanticizing forced sexual activity. Regardless of the ending, it hasn't stopped him from kidnapping more or releasing the others. Fun for some but distasteful to others.
this one is a bit dark but the premises made me laugh and enjoy. He is a comrade, and he is making bank off the erotic stories written by ghost writers that he is publishing as his own work. he kidnaps and "trains" a novice and makes her write dirty work for him but ends up developing feelings at the same time against his will or hers. like I said, a little dark at times but oh soooo good

This was a pretty decent book. It is a little on the dark side not sure kidnapping a virgin to write hot and sexy books is the best idea but they were hot together Stockholm syndrome springs to mind. But I have to admit it was well written and flowed well and I did like it and am looking forward to reading more in the future
Rostov kidnaps Lily and forces her to write romance books for him when she goes on a backpacking vacation trip to Russia. A book on the dark side of romance, I found myself smiling at some of the things that happen in the book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I found this book a little on the dark side which does not bother me in the list and I actually find this book as really enjoyable read. The books flows well but the premise of the book is a little on the homorise side.

She is held in a locked room and made to write dirty stories for him. He uses ghost writers to get his books into print. He was her and he wanted her. She is pure and innocent and he wants to make her his in every single way. Will he do it? Will she do what he wants? See how she will get on

This was brilliant! I loved the entire premise of the book and it was extremely entertaining. It's almost written like an inside joke. You need to have been there to understand. It was fun and hot and tantalizingly dark!

Very sexy and explicitly exotic story of midwestern Lily traveling to Russia to experience the best first time sex if her life. You only get one lol. Rostov is a very impressive character and really understands Lily better than she does herself. She is a sub, but she is still feisty, leading to great sex. Really had fun reading this book.
It was quite good read sparks the imagination of the reader as they journey through their relationship with steamy scenes and hiden secrets as it unfolds with issues to sort through the pages.
This book is about a 22 year old virgin who goes backpacking in eastern Europe. She ends up being kidnapped by a billionaire Russian who takes her virginity and continues to have sex with her for the rest of the book, while forcing her to sit at a computer and write romance novels for him to sell. At one point, the author mentions some qualities of a good romance book and I ended up applying them to this book itself. Smoldering hot hero - check, heroine reader can relate to - not so much, action/adventure - not so much (mostly one bout of sex after another or heroine writing about it), misunderstandings - no. I would have added more action/adventure, such as police or her BFF getting involved in the kidnapping, and getting her rescued. But the writing itself was good - no editing needed for grammar or spelling, for example. And there was an HEA fortunately!
