Corrupted Dungeon #1

Corrupt Dungeon

Rate this book
When Earth gets turned into an MMORPG, Aaron Donoghue is assigned the role of Dungeon Core. He panics until he sees the Overseer class. His own avatar and people under his control? Maybe being transformed into a glorified rock isn't so bad after all.

Not for him, anyway.

For the people who enter his dungeon? That's another story all together.

This book is a work of fiction. This story is about what happens when someone with a dark streak takes power, not an endorsement of the main character's actions. It contains violence, gore, sex and profanity. Don't read if you're easily triggered.

Utterly disappointing.

Character depth is almost non-existent, the protagonist is a shallow and terrible person who practically embodies the anti-social rapist/criminal stereotype while being a complete sociopath. Character interaction is also flawed, essentially boiling down to an unrealistic attitude of “I am the unquestionable here, now follow my orders no matter your own self-interest.” I rarely leave reviews on books, but congratulations go to the author, this book is just bad enough to warrant it. If you are interested in a good piece of literature that encompasses what Corrupted Dungeon attempts, check out Fostering Faust by William D Arand.

Dungeon

How would you react if you were turned into a dungeon... I hope more books explore this avenue. It's fun seeing them evolve

Balancing out

This short story probably deserves a little less than 4 but I wanted to balance out some of the reviews i read. A couple of things, one, in a couple parts of the book it does need an editor. Two, this is a DARK novel, with sex, and slavery and some other things people might not like. However I don't regret reading it, and bought BK.2

Sub par knock off

Exact same premise as Lewd Dungeon. Just minor changes to keep it from being identical, which tend to make the story worse.

No

Way too short for a real story, way too long to be more than porn. Shifting perspective adds no value to the story.

Standard Dungeon Core Porn

An incel becomes a Dungeon Core. It creates an idealized Avatar of his previously human form then captures, enslaves, and rapes a woman in front of her boy friend. The concept is similar to Stuart Grosse's "Lewd Dungeon" series, but not as imaginatively executed.

Overall, this is a somewhat "meh" read.

Not a book but a very short story

The storyline had possibilities but it was such a very very short I Hazard to use the word book. It should not be allowed to call a very short story a book it is nowhere near

Not a bad start, I like the premise.

It's a good way to turn the genre toward the sexier story line. I'm enjoying the starting of the series and hope Aaron levels up quickly. I want to see what he comes up with next.

Corrupt Dungeon is an adult fantasy dungeons and dragons themed read with the twist that you are in control of the dungeon which adventurers must traverse. It's is a short read, but overall I must admit I enjoyed it. A surprisingly enjoyable read!

UPDATE: After reading this I originally gave it three stars, but having now read the first four books in the series I think it helps other people if the first book in the series has a rating that is an average rating for all books. Lets face it, if you are considering reading a series of books you probably only read reviews for the first book.
