When a girl is raised by a strong, caring father she always imagines spending her life with a man that treats her the same! How at nineteen did Sophie Blackman end up with the exact opposite is baffling to even her. Diego has been the love of Sophie's life since childhood but after he does the unthinkable Sophie finds comfort elsewhere. Will Diego be able to repair his relationship with Sophie or have they truly out grown each other? Diego Hunter is working hard to make a name in these streets and with that comes the good and the bad. Money and power are always a good thing in his mind but they bring women and temptation with them. His love for Sophie is constantly tested and will threaten to ruin what he and Sophie have built. Diego will have to fight to not only win his respect in the streets but also a spot in Sophie's future. Noonie is Sophie's best friend and while she is being supportive of the turmoil in Sophie's life, she has her own problems. Growing up Quadir was like a brother to her and Noonie always considered him to be family. Recently that view changed and Noonie finds herself lusting over Quadir. How can Noonie reveal her feelings without experiencing rejection? Sophie will have to make some hard decisions because of Diego's actions. Noonie has to make a choice to either shoot her shot or watch Quadir be happy without her.
It was okay. I didn't really care for Sophie and there were a lot, a lot of spelling errors. Some gaps in the story or maybe I just missed what happened with Diego meeting his family. The rest of the characters were cool. And if she is going to make this a series I think this writer has the potential to make the next books better. The overall all premise for the story is good just needs to be filled in better to many gaps then a rushed ending where we have to guess about the other characters we've invested in.
Wow I'm gald she got her act together because she was going to lost out on a good men because she was being so childish a some point .am also glad the all got their self together I can wait for the spin off on the it her couple .what I like the most is that the family stay out of it
Great job from one of my favorite authors. I just love the way Kira writes everything she touches is good. Sophie was a hard woman but you have to know your worth as a woman and not let the man get over on you. Diego had to learn the hard way but I’m happy they got it together. I hope we hear from Qua and Noonie and Fresh and Fe can’t wait see what’s next
This was a decent read but not all that different from others I've read in the genre. I felt like there were a lot of holes in the story overall as well, in addition to the numerous grammatical errors in nearly every chapter. With some strong editing and a review of the overall plot, I would up it one star. I'm not sure if I'll spring for the sequel.
Felicia and Farood is my favorite couple!!!! I love how she moves. Qua and Noonie are perfect i love a woman that snags what she wants .. So-So got so damn lucky in fairness any one of us would act like she did but I'm surprised things ended this way. Great story i love the plan these young men had 👏good to see families building together ❤
I loved this book it was great. I loved all the couples and can't wait for qua, noonie and fresh and fe stories I really wanted more from them. Your writing gets better and better with each book and continue the great work!!!!
I wish Diego would of listened to Sophie in the beginning. Fee should of told him Naja was crazy. Glad they made up. I can't wait for Qua, Noonie, Fresh and Fee's book.
I love this standalone. So so was wrong for not believing in him. But that chick put it in her head and kept messing with her. But like he say when ur woman say that chick is bad news u need to listen. Hands up on this book.
I loved this from beginning to end. The families branching out with the children are so cute. Sophie had to learn the hard way that believing everything is not good but at the end it worked out
The author did her thing with this book. It was straight fire. Diego and Sophia's love was so amazing. Even when they had there ups and downs their love for each never waved. Their love story just proved that love does conquer all.
This book kept my attention because I was always waiting for what's next. Would have liked it more but Sophie got on my nerves. Really got sick of her. Didn't really want her to get him back
I loved me some Diego he was book bae. I felt that he was to good for Sophie she was to childish for me. How can u say you love someone but don’t believed them. Sophie was such a brat. I loved Noonie and Qusa And fresh great read
You better listen the women here are crazy she tried to tell him but he didn’t listen but I’m glad they found each other again in there oh girl went to jail and it is by the pound they have layaway have to put a good word thanks
I swear this book had me laughing from beginning to end. There was a little drama mixed in with Diego and Sophie but the dialect between the characters was lit. Qua ass was hilarious with his mean butt!
This book was off the chain. Love conquers all. I loved all of the characters. Ms Kira you did it again. Patiently waiting for the next book you put out.
