Mara Mahan lives in Virginia with her family, her dog, and her army of loyal minions. She spends most of her time writing, and the rest of her time juggling, playing video games, and occasionally even sleeping.
Her yet-to-be-finished novel, Cataclysm, won a silver medal in the 2013 National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and several of her other writings have won awards at the regional level of that same contest.
Really enjoyed this book! As with this author’s first book, she created a very unique world with engaging characters and plot. Fantasy is not my usual genre, but this book had me hooked early and all the way through to the last page. Good read!
