Given the incredibly powerful Space Stone to look after by an old friend, Black Widow has no intention of letting it fall into the wrong hands…but is even the top espionage agent in the world ready to handle cosmic responsibility?
This one was fun and heavily runs off of information we already knew. Honestly, it was more of a one-shot than it was establishing anything, but I could be wrong. We already knew that Black Widow had one of the stones, and how she got it. This issue really does take it a step more than that, showing her control over said stone, so that was cools. Overall I’m not really sure if it added anything more than a fun story to the mix, but I’m actually pretty okay with that.
As far as single issue event tie-ins go, this was really solid. It was pretty interesting to see Natasha sort of have powers for once and she has a couple brutal moments that I wasn't expecting but appreciated nonetheless. I don't like it when art changes styles multiple times but here it has a purpose so I'm not too bothered.
Natasha I will never refuse to read ANY of your comic appearances (I have absolutely nothing to say about this single issue except I love this fictional woman so much)
