American humorist best known for his long-running column of political satire and commentary that he wrote in The Washington Post, which was syndicated in over 500 newspapers. He wrote more than 30 books. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Outstanding Commentary in 1982. In 1991 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

This is a collection of his columns from the Regan and Bush snr. era, which makes it a bit hard to read as a book. It is more, grab it, read a few columns and then read something else... and then come back to it... Some of them are good, but in the end there are way too many of them and they sort of blend into one ...

Very dated, but I still intend to finish it. One funny chapter, but the rest a bit meh, but like I said, it's very dated and only people who grew up in the 80's (like me) will get it.

I have loved Art Buchwald ever since I could read the Newspaper. He had quite the sharp tongue! This book brings back of political tidbits. I had forgotten so much! But, unless you lived or write about those times, it doesn't age too well.
