I have been an avid reader for longer than I can remember, desiring the darker, edgier works of Bram Stoker, Stephen King, Dean Koontz. I first started writing in High School giving that away when my first attempt was nothing more than dribble. I wish now that I kept at it, pursued it with a hunger that I currently possess.

Writing is my passion, it is what fuels the fires inside of me and it is an all-or-nothing furnace that keeps me up at all hours.

I am married to a wonderful supportive husband, I have 2 wonderful kids and the best friends that I have waited some 35 odd years to meet.

Don't Leave Me Now.....

Lorn has lost everything her mom, Alma, Redemption, if she ever had him....lies Gabriel his wings are so broken and his beautiful soul is on hiatus, for how long? Rival serves my father Lucifer and can't stick around and Titus my sweet human is lying in a hospital bed about to die, as soon as they pull the plug and it's all the 9's fault....I will avenge them all. What good am I without them anyway? So tell me what good is it to be the daughter of the most powerful being in the supernatural world the Devil himself if you can't keep your loved ones safe from the 9??? And Lucifer is supposed to lord over them all?

Can she find Titus' father in time to save him, she has a few days left and she knows there is more to him, if she could only find out what...Will that be enough to get all her men back, will she be able to avenge all the deaths on the unseelie's prince's head without bringing the ultimate punishment on herself.

Oh my gosh I swear Ms. Faulks just gets better and better. There is so much power in feelings of the heart because it has love and hate in equal measure.

Titus is in a coma, Gabriel is broken, Rival is conflicted and Redemption just wants her back whatever way he can. And Lorn is feeling sadness because she cannot break Titus's coma, forlorn and lonely because Gabriel left and went back to the heavens and Rival cannot serve two masters and he did not choose Lorn. The Nine has taken too much from Lorn and she wants them so she hunts them and begins to become the monster she used to hunt down.

This story has so much angst that it grips you to those pages and I thought this one was the last but there is more to come and a happy camper I have become. I voluntarily read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for this opinion but judge it for yourself I dare you not to become involved.

Oh my goodness what an emotional read! I felt so much in this book. I was right there with her feelings g her heartache, betrayal, rejection, loss, & anguish! I honestly could not put it down!
Lorn is on a mission to discover the secret behind Tidus’ true heritage to try and save his life. Rival is torn between his loyalty to Lucifer and to Lorn. Gabriel is broken from his torture and torment. And Redemption is still broken hearted from breaking Lorn’s heart to try and save her.
Not to mention Lorn’s mission to take down The Nine and destroy The Night Hag.
That ending though! I need to have the next book already!!!

A filler book that was designed to pull Redemption out of the bad guy role and back into Lorn's bed.AKA her harem.

|Quite obviously with the previous book the bad blood, but longing that Lorn had for Redemption, there was no way she would willingly get back with him, but with this story the way was created and yup she claimed him alright.

I thought thus was a lot of jumble shit though, ramblings which confused my head and eyes as some nonsense sentences were thrown around to pretty up the pages. Lorn being a bit TSTL female and running off to do her own shit, after having Titus being stuck in hospital from the previous book.

No staying together and talking out a plan, nope just headless running on guts and her dead grandma's history.

To be honest, none of this has anything to do with Lorn's relationship with her dad, because guess what there is no relationship apart from blood. He's trying but obviously they are still in the first two weeks of her knowing him. She is a bit off the rocker to be honest.

However i've got the boxset so will read the net book to work out the other mystery about the convent etc and see where the cliffhanger at the end of this one goes.

Hell is a Harem - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Lorn is alone in her hunt for the Nine, a shadowy group who murdered her family and tortured others who'd been her friends. As her father, Lucifer won't give her answers about who was to blame, Lorn decides she'll slake her thirst for vengeance and stop at nothing until she finds the answers she so desperately wants! She'll also save Titus who's in a coma in hospital and reach out to Gabriel who's returned to his Heavenly home. Lastly she'll demand loyalty from traitorous Rival who's chosen her father over her when it came to the crunch - and then decide his punishment!
A non-stop supernatural thriller with plenty of twists and turns, Hell is a Harem is the third chapter in the series which needs to be read in order to enable the background, characters and plot to tie together and make complete sense, especially as a cliffhanger ending leads into Book 4.
An ongoing saga not to be missed!

Hell is a Harem: Book 3 Kindle Edition
by Kim Faulks
Kim Faulks is a unique talent. Where her Four Horsemen RH is hallucinatory, Hell is Harem is grounder, earthy and nearly a noire series. I could smell the hellfire, the sulfur, and taste the grit as Lorn MorningStar begins the most frightning run of her life.

Her harem is broken, she feels lost and is ready to bring down Heaven and Hell to save Titus.

The reader is treated with dark poetry as we shift from Lorn's to Redemption's POV as the Daughter of Hell chases down a secret that Titus didn't even realize he had.

As usual, her world building is etheric and complete. The world is like the one we know that has taken ten steps into the dark, like the best of Urban Fantasy.

Dark, painful but worthwhile, I give this easily 5 pentagrams'

I’m disappointed that her big strong alpha men of different magical abilities all basically left her, alone after she just lost her grandmother the last remaining relative on earth.

She snapped and try’s to go searching for “the 9” and nearly gets herself killed.

It’s a very long dragged out book. She finds out who is her human cop mate is-making him 1/2 of one very old and powerful being, but he’s still in the hospital and they are about to pull the plug on his life support. Her angel, fae & hell hound end up saving her from a fight and they get to the hospital in time to save their other member.

I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ these guys really weren’t there for her so far for any of these books she always on her own it’s driving me nuts!

Fabulous

I absolutely LOVE this series. I’d obviously read the first 2 a while back, then recently reread them only to discover I hadn’t read the 3rd. Well I downloaded it and literally read it in one day. It’s been along time since I read a paranormal series that had a decent, meaty, interesting plot line.
I love this story line and all its twists..I love all the characters..I cried a bit in places..and I’m so glad that Redemption is back in the fold.
The ending had me totally gobsmacked and now I’m eager for #4 to be released.
Call me soppy but I really hope it’s a HEA!!!!❤️

So exciting and intense!

This is such a great series. A bit dark, but sooo exciting and filled with action and emotion. This was a tough book for Lorn. Believing that she’s lost everything, she goes out alone to hunt the Nine. Thankfully she gets some unexpected help along the way. But it’s a tough, dangerous and painful journey...especially those few days she’s hunting.
No spoilers, but OMG...this book has the mother of all cliffhangers! Have to read the next book NOW!

Lorn fears she has lost it all in this third book in the series. Lives are at risk and she is willing to do anything to save those she cares about. It might even cost her life.

This book really has a lot of surprises and twists. Lorn is really alone and determined to save her lovers. There is a big twist and it will really surprise and please you. There are some answers you wanted as well.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

I waited until reading all of the books in the series before providing the reviews.

I enjoyed the progression with some of the characters in this installment but still struggle with the main character. Although, she felt more "tightened" up in this book than in the first two

I hate to give things away but there were some plot points that were rather predictable and the suffering of the characters is starting to feel contrived.

Darker than the first one

I really like this series. It's darker than a lot of the RH out there. These guys don't get their HEA at the end of every book, the read becomes not so light but much more real. Much different from others in the genre but better for it. I enjoy reading them regardless. Well written and the few typos here and there are not noticeable because of just how good they are.

Sad, dark and beautifully written

This book was sad and dark but at the same time it was amazing. Just when you think everything is going to be okay, bam! it's so not okay and then the book is over. Although it was the most gut- wrenching of the series, this book is by far the best one yet. Can't wait for December to get here and read book 4!

Lorn is done playing by everyone else's rules. While trying to figure out who she can trust and figuring out what Titus is in time to save him. Lorn is out for revenge but will she lose everything in the process or will she gain everything she has been looking for. Excellent book! I can't wait to find out what is going to happen with Lorn and her guys in book 4!

Book 3 ends where book 2 left off. I absolutely devoured this book! Each book is better then the one before. I gave up precious sleep because I needed to finish this. Lorn is on a mission to kill The Nine for having taken so much from her. Titus lays in a coma, Gabriel scared inside and out, Rival still sworn to her father and Redemption is searching for her.

I was kinda wishing this was the last one. I liked Redemption’s part so not looking forward to the next one so much. Lorn is off the rails on the path to her own destruction and her harem are out for the count or have their own baggage. This series gets darker but the emotions are well written and pretty brutal.

Got kind of confusing at times, which made sense since Lorn was going through a lot of pain as she hunted down her enemies, but otherwise was a great read. The romantic energy of Lorn with her men was both beautiful and tragic, in turns. And it was great to see vengeance served on those who deserved it.

The cliffhanger ending guarantees I need to read the fourth book.

A lot happens in this installment as the darkness nearly consumes our characters. My heart ached and tears fell as Lorn did what she felt she had to, despite the pain. Thank goodness this isn't the last in the series!

Third book and I highly suggest reading in order. Wow this series has gotten intense. Lorne is feeling like she is losing everyone. And she is out to find the truth no matter what. Her powers are off the charts and she is willing to go to war. Lot of huge twists and some painful moments.

Everything is falling apart, Her harem, her world, her life. I like the message this book is sending. You can't do it alone. Sometimes you need help, and sometimes revenge isn't always the answer. Plus the ending omg the ending was amazing. Cant wait to see how it ends

I like the series, I do. But this book was all over the damn place! And not in a fun way. Home girls emotional mood swings leave me dizzy. I'll read the last book, but idk if I will start the spin off series. I guess I'll decide after reading the 4th hell book.

So damn good.

Exciting, riveting and completely compulsive reading. I just couldn't read this fast enough.

I have my ideas about who redemption really is. Never saw that coming with Titus.

Brilliant storyline!

Finally I'm at book 4 and will find our all the answers.
