Pretty good
What I liked - I really liked Monica and Evan. The story was sweet and unique. Jack is amazing. I hope he has his own story somewhere or gets his own story. I loved him.
What I didn't like - Evan was arrogant at first which was off-putting. I liked the ending but didn't because I needed a little more. It was too HFN and not HEA. An epilogue saying they stayed together after the 6 months would have been great if not a longer epilogue with a scene from the future in which they're married years and maybe have children. Even just a declaration of love would have helped. The ending was just too temporary. The editing needs work. There wasn't enough information and development in some areas.
Overall - Sweet, unique take on an accidental marriage with editing issues and a HFN.

This is a very interesting way to getting married between Evan and Monica. Evan is a strong sexy mountain man who happens to find himself in a local restaurant/bar meeting a beautiful woman, Rose. On the other side Rose is tired of her everyday life and quits her job and leaves town to find her way in life and to become successful writing on her blog. With the 1st day on her adventure she finds herself a bit drunk and sitting next to a very interesting mountain man. These two seem to start off with getting married and not have much of a memory the next morning and go from there. Can this spur of the moment wedding become another crazy decision by Rose or will Evan show her it may be the best crazy decision ever? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

The short books by this author are almost everything you could want if you only have a short amount of time & want to get lost in a book & finish it in a single sitting. This follows the story of Monica, who decides to quit work to manage her blog full time. In chasing inspiration, she escapes to Grey Mountain where she manages to meet Evan, get drunk & get married all in her first night in town. I thought that the angst that Monica suffered after waking up was really well written. My only criticism is that I would have liked a bit from Evan's perspective. It's obvious from Monica's memories of the night that Evan had thoughts & feelings that weren't overly shared in the rest of the book, & I wish they had of been.

As always, Samantha has written a story that I absolutely love. It is a humorous, sexy read that captured my attention from the beginning. Monica has quit her job, decided to begin a blog and moved to Grey Mountain for inspiration. Evan, a handsome, reclusive mountain man has always lived on Grey Mountain. Monica and Evan meet at a bar the first night of Monica's arrival. They get totally wasted and guess what? They wake up married. “Accidental Mountain Man” is a quirky, delightful story and a romantic, fun read. I most definitely recommend this book.

This was a sweet, quick read. For its brevity, it's a rather well written read. The whole story took about 45 minutes to read, and ran the gamut from bored bartender to intrepid wanderer to an oops for the ages! I really loved how the story is so relatable, just about everyone can identify with something that happened, from quitting your job on a wild hair (guilty!), to taking off on a new adventure, and especially the creepy ex boss! Well done, nice piece of light reading before bed! Thank you for the opportunity to review this gem!

Wow I really enjoyed the book. With very creative writing the characters exploded to the book. A woman trying to escape the wriggers of a small town. With a creepy across on her tail,and a mountain man for a husband.
