The Zero Fucks Cookbook

Rate this book
Yumi Stynes considers cooking and eating one of the great pleasures of her life – but she has zero time or energy for recipes that create work and add an unnecessary level of complication to otherwise honest food. With signature Yumi attitude and irreverence, The Zero Fucks Cookbook presents readers with 60 inventive, delicious and nutritious recipes that consume precisely zero fucks, but make it possible to focus on what sharing food with the people you love should really be all about.

The joy of The Zero Fucks Cookbook is that in spite of their simplicity, Yumi's recipes are all super impressive: they're thoughtful, nourishing and crowd-pleasing. They let great ingredients star and, absolutely best of all, they're EASY!

Love Yumi! Zero F*cks isn’t about not caring about cooking, it’s about recipes that bring a smile to your dial without having to spend too much time sourcing ingredients and/or cooking the food itself. While there are some recipes I questioned (such as fairy bread 😆), there are a heap of others I can wait to try. A great cook book for those just starting out in the kitchen - Yumi swears by her measurements - if all else fails - you should definitely nail the fairy bread!

How adorable...

I read this through cover to cover very quickly. The recipes are good, though some are kind of fiddly, and the author's voice is approachable. She feels like someone I want to have over for dinner. I found this in a street library. Gotta ask myself, "Why?" I'll never part with it.
