So when Abbie reappears one night, wearing an outlandish outfit complete with golden axes at each hip, and explaining that she's been living on another world--where she was queen of a species of talking cats--Mae is sure her sister's lost her mind. That is, until strange and menacing creatures start showing up in Mae's hometown... and her father suddenly disappears. Now Mae must follow a sister she barely knows into a world she never could have imagined to save her only family, and maybe discover something about herself in the process.

Woah. I was not expecting much from this comic, so I was thoroughly impressed with what I got!
First off, I absolutely loved the artwork. That’s always the first thing I “judge” or notice in graphic novels.
The storyline felt like it was going nowhere at first but then it just bam in your face and I loved every second of it.
Once it got going, there was a lot of action and mystery, with some great humor added to the mix.
I’m very interested in seeing more of what happens in the following issues!
