I give a book five stars if I enjoyed reading it. I take off a star if it doesn’t get right to the point. I take off another star if it doesn’t deliver on its promises. I take off another star if it makes me work too hard.

This book I gave five stars. Its an honest book that is true to its purpose. It’s readable, enjoyable, and teaches you something. It’s one of those books that is certainly about some particular thing, which is making art, but it is about much more than that.

Oh and it knows when to finish. And so do I.

This is a great resource for artists that want to go further with their craft. It is not a how to book with step by step instructions but more a guide to the concepts and mindset needed to be more.
