101 Indisputable Facts Proving Donald Trump Is An Idiot: A brief background of the most spectacularly unqualified person to ever occupy the White House.
Donald Trump’s idiocy began long before he reached the White House. Here’s a quick guide and easily digestible list of his lies, moronic comments and stupid moves – both past and present – proving he’s by far the least qualified leader in our nation’s history. “101 Facts” was assembled by a group of independent journalists with nearly a century of combined experience. This isn’t an opinion piece. It’s a catalog of actual statements made by Trump in his own words that leave no doubt as to exactly who this person is and why he doesn’t belong in Washington, in business or in civilized society. Part of the proceeds from this book support anti-Trump groups nationwide. Readers who can’t afford the modest price can still read the book entirely free by visiting DCIdiots.com, a new website created to catalog the ongoing misdoings of Trump and other Washington idiots who are being supported by your tax dollars. When your friends ask why you hate Trump, now you’ll have an instant catalog of reasons, along with a website tracking the ongoing insult to America that is the Trump administration. Check out the book, sign up for the online free newsletter, and keep track of the enemies of wisdom with short, easily digestible and sometimes humorous stories delivered weekly to your inbox. Martin Luther King once said, “In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” Don’t be silent. Buy the book, stay informed and support those supporting you.
Depressing because it was a nightmare walk down memory lane!
101 Indisputable fact Proving Donald Trump is an Idiot by Guy Fawkes takes the reader down memory lane with quotes, tweets, and more real news of how the orange buffoon and his cronies have tried to destroy our democracy! I will have to read a comedy now to get over this!!!
The truth no matter what "alternative facts" you wish were true!
A very well laid out and documented set of things Trump has done and said that hurts this country. If you can't see this then I must say "bless your heart" it's a southern thing Google it.
This little, informative, and interesting book was worthy of the title. I sincerely hope the voting population of our country will support almost any citizen candidate - with a benign US political party affiliation, of course - will be able to usurp this false, 'wanna be king' poser.
President #45 is gradually receding into the past, and I hope he stays there.
This book puts 45's lies, distortions, threats, and other verbal malfeasance on record. It is meticulously researched and provides thorough references. I only found two things to dislike about it. First, it only covers 2017 (and still manages to stretch about 262 pages, although not every page is full. It boggles the mind to imagine how thick it would be if it stretched all the way into 2020). Most of the quotations I read have already been examined through a microscope by a variety of appalled commentators.
The other thing I don't like is the solicitation for donations at the end of each abbreviated chapter (There are just over 100; that's a lot of bell-ringing). The book is free, so I guess that makes the ceaseless solicitation more permissible, but it is still annoying.
I have read many books about our 45th president, not one of them painting a favorable picture. I freely admit to my own bias against him. The more I read about him, the more I come to the same conclusion: America; oh, America. What hast thou wrought?
This is an excellent read and if you are interested in history & how MI6 used Guy Fawkes and another bad "old boy" from St Peter’s School York, read on!
Best see the news at TheBurlingtonFiles website for 5 November 2022 about Guy Fawkes & MI6 and then read about me, Bill Fairclough (MI6 codename JJ) aka Edward Burlington in the spy thriller Beyond Enkription in The Burlington Files series of fact based spy novels. See https://theburlingtonfiles.org/news_2....
Beyond Enkription is the first of six stand-alone autobiographical spy novels in The Burlington Files series based on my life and experiences while working as an agent for MI6, the CIA et al for circa 50 years (see https://lnkd.in/gA6E6WR).
To really get the most out of reading Beyond Enkription I suggest you first browse through my bio on TheBurlingtonFiles website and then read three brief news articles published on TheBurlingtonFiles website. One is about Bill Fairclough (August 2023), characters' identities (September 2021) and Pemberton's People (October 2022). What is amazing is that these articles were only published many years after Beyond Enkription itself was. You’ll soon be immersed in a whole new world!
Beyond Enkription is an intriguing unadulterated factual thriller and a great read as long as you don’t expect John le Carré’s delicate diction, sophisticated syntax and placid plots. If you do ... just carry on reading le Carré. After all, I am neither an author nor spy by profession. I was a mere accountant.
In fact, Colonel Alan Brooke Pemberton CVO MBE, initially my handler and later my colleague, once said the best spies don’t know they have been recruited. He was right and in many ways Beyond Enkription is conceptually about just that which is why an American critic rated it as a five star read “being up there with My Silent War by Kim Philby and No Other Choice by George Blake”.
The title of this book is pretty self-explanatory. It only covers all of the stupid things Trump has said through the first six months of his presidency, so I'm pretty sure if whoever put this together wanted to, they could release a second volume with everything he's said since then until the present.
This book is best suited for consumption on a tablet rather than an e-reader. Each indisputable fact is backed up with a myriad of links - and the experimental browser on an eink Kindle leaves MUCH to be desired.
Nothing in this book was new information per se, but having the ignorance and stupidity of 45 laid out was something else.
This should be required reading for anyone claiming they're "undecided" going into the election.
Disclaimer: I am not fond of Donald Trump as a human being and especially not as president, and I did not vote for him. While I do not hate him (I'd have to know someone personally to do that), I do not believe he is fit to be president of the United States. Being largely ignorant of his past beyond the few mentions of him in 1980s/1990s/200s media until he ran for office, I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt during his first year in office... then regretted that decision five months in. While he has made a few decisions I agree with (the establishment of Space Force being one of them), I could say that of any president before him, too. On the whole, I think his presidency has been more of a detriment than a benefit, especially his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This book explains why I, and others of similar mindset, feel that way.
Also: I am a former Republican who has grown more and more disenchanted with the party whose values I once believed in. I'm still learning to let go of much of my short-sighted and ill-conceived devotion to the so-called "Grand Old Party"; in many ways, reading this tome - and viewing the daily news - tends to hurt tremendously, but it's a pain I'm used to by now.
I felt I needed to make that disclaimer before I offer my review of this work, as my review will be very critical.
To begin with: I knew the overall bias of this work would likely be center-left going into it, and for the most part, I didn't care. I've worked in local television news production here in West Texas since I graduated from high school in 2000, and while West Texas is a ridiculously conservative area, most TV news personalities - especially TV news reporters, who very rarely originate in the areas they report in - hold political viewpoints that tend more toward the political center, from center-right to center-left. (TV news anchors and weather personalities, however, are astonishingly polar; I've met far more far-right anchors than I ever thought I would.) Thanks to their influences, I now count myself among them in the center, wondering how long the center will hold before our increasingly-polarized world flies apart at the gyre.
I acquired this book because it was free, and I've yet to turn down anything with no price tag attached to it. The authors, out of a desire to see the information contained in the book disseminated as widely as possible, have wisely refrained from pricing it. The book really isn't free, though; it requires you to already possess an open mind (which is a costly thing to possess these days), and it requires you to pay it two things most valuable - your attention, and your willingness to believe its words. (That last one's rather easy, as every page includes a hyperlink to one news article or another to back up its claims.)
Nevertheless, the book had two hurdles that I had to overcome before reading its contents. The first was the title: I have no problem with a provocative or scandalous title and calling the president an idiot can certainly be provocative to some. Where I draw the line, however, is at how damn wordy the title is. I get winded just mentioning it; how the hell am I supposed to talk to people about this book when its absurdly lengthy title causes me to forget half of it before I can even tell anyone what the damn thing is called? JOURNALISTS wrote this; you'd think they'd know better! If you want people to read something you wrote, keep the title catchy, and keep it brief! I realize I'm being hypocritical by saying this hundreds of words into my review, but "Brevity is the soul of wit" ALWAYS applies to book titles, no matter who writes it or why! You could've kept the first part of the title, dropped the subtitle, and not lost a thing.
The second hurdle: the pen name associated with the authors, who wish to remain anonymous. Yeah, I get why Guy Fawkes is a thing. Yeah, I know he's really well-beloved by British counterculture types (and loved ironically, much as he is among American Millennials). Yeah, "V for Vendetta" was a really cool film. Does anyone remember that Guy Fawkes was a radical Catholic who wanted to kill people in order to transform Britan from the increasingly-democratic government it was slowly becoming into a hardcore Catholic theocracy? A theocracy run by priests who are currently on trial (at least in the world's eyes) for possibly hundreds of years of pedophilia, all of which the actual Fawkes would've overlooked just to have his theocracy, just as much as many of Trump's hardcore supporters overlook his many, MANY glaring flaws to retain him as president? Can we maybe pick a better fake name to use next time, like "Atticus Finch" or (since the writers are journalists) "Clark Kent"? A name I can stomach ethically, please? There's nothing "cheeky" or "fun" about a violent theocrat akin to Hitler, which (for those who don't know their history well) is exactly who Guy Fawkes - a fellow who'd have loved to see anyone not Catholic dead - was. (I know, I know, "We're being edgy by using the name of Anonymous' hero against them! It was stupid when they used Fawkes as a symbol, and it's stupid when these authors did it, too.)
*lengthy, world-weary "old man" sigh*
Damn kids and their damn Internet tropes.
Old man rant over now. Anyway...
The book raises several strong points supported by solid facts and good, old-fashioned "gimme the data" reporting, using links to articles written by proven, tested, well-trusted news organizations and institutions of public record to back up its statements. Much of its contents are public record and are well-known by everyone now, but it's never a bad thing to revisit recent facts, especially if those facts are used to build an argument as to why the peculiar individual currently residing in the Oval Office shouldn't reside there beyond his first term. Some of the facts in this book, however, were facts I was unaware of, and were not only facts necessary to being a more well-informed voter, but also had me grinding my teeth in anger. "How the Hell did this jackass end up on the ballot, even with Russia's help?"
Moreover, the facts contained within are presented with wry, disgruntled wit and - most important for any journalist worthy of his or her Moleskine notebook - brevity. (Far more brevity than was used in selecting the title of the work, but I digress.) These facts, overall, are the sole reason to read this book. If you don't know how you feel about Donald Trump as either a person or a president (aren't you a little late to the party?) or if you want to know more about why so many people in the United States and abroad feel he is unqualified to hold public office, look no further than this book (because other books will likely depress the Hell out of you).
My problems with the book are few, but - as structural problems rather than content concerns - they can certainly be hindrances to reading this tome, should others opt to pick it up:
1.) Don't just drop numbered facts at me willy-nilly. Try organizing them by subject next time. Every fact contained in this book is shocking at first, then distressing, disappointing, and depressing later. (Not because the facts aren't well expounded upon, though I'd have liked to see much more data myself. These facts are depressing because of what they describe happening at the White House.) What the book ultimately amounts to, then, is a seemingly unending stream of depression that feels much longer than it truly is due to the emotions evoked in the reader. You want to get people mad enough to act? The first 50 facts would do that. Though the book is about as long as any novel you'll find on bookstore shelves, reading through the steady, ever-depressing march of numbered facts across the page begins to feel like a slog eventually, which makes the book feel overlong. I read the thing in a week, but it literally felt like two; I had to double-check what date I began reading it on just to be sure it hadn't taken me longer than it really did. Dividing the facts by topic and including a Table of Contents would've gone a long way toward alleviating that feeling.
Also, some readers are going to be fairly conservative, and some of these facts they're going to skim over. While people should, in theory, care about everything in this book and want to do something about the problems they read about in it, some of the more center-right readers will roll their eyes at some of the numbered facts within and skip right past them - or even worse, may drop the book altogether. Dividing the facts presented by subject matter will, at least, allow them to easily skip past the parts they don't care about and head directly to the facts that will affect them more strongly.
2. Additionally, the facts just kind of stream by in an arbitrarily numbered order. Only Facts 100 and 101 seem to have any thought to their placement as the logical endpoints in the tome. The rest seem to have no reason behind their placement in the list. I get that the authors are attempting to buld an argument one fact at a time ("line upon line, precept upon precept" and all that), but a little more structure and organization behind what fact goes where - whether that organization be categorical, chronological, or what-have-ya - likely would've made for an easier, less mind-numbing read.
3. There are ads after every single fact. The same ad, in fact. The authors advertise their (now defunct) website, DCIdiots.com, after every single fact, meaning you're going to see the same advert to either visit their website or donate to their (admittedly worthy) cause at the end of every section, meaning "every two or three pages". Occasionally, the ad is accompanied by a nifty quote from Plato, Martin Luther King Jr, or other luminaries of liberty, but these quotes are eventually reused, which makes me gloss over the adverts every time I see them.
Look, guys and gals who wrote this: I get it. I really do. You have a worthy and just cause that should get all the reader support and money it needs and then some, and I'm sure your website was really cool and informative before it got taken down, likely due to lack of funding. (I hope you just moved it to a Facebook page/group or Twitter feed instead. I wish I could've seen it before it went defunct, and I'm certain it had great info on it. It'd be a shame if all that was lost for good, and a Facebook page or Twitter feed would provide at least SOME home for the data that could also be monetized.) Placing an ad at the end of each and every fact in the book (of 101 facts), however, is a little desperate and clingy and very, very annoying, especially when it's the same exact ad that I've already seen. Place one at the beginning of the book (at the end of the introduction) and one at the end of the book (at the end of the conclusion) and you'll be good. Maybe include a reference to the website on the cover, or a full-page graphic advertising it on the very last page. That's all you need.
If you annoy people trying to read the book, they won't finish it, and all your well-thought-out and well-explained facts will have been uttered for naught.
TLDR; it's a great book, but it's got some minor structural issues. Other than that, I certainly recommend it.
Essentially a review of what those of us who follow the news (other than Fox) have observed during this administration. It's almost hard to read during the virus, as it only adds to the sinking feeling that we're trapped in a horrible nightmare with seemingly no end in sight. But I am glad the team put it together. Surely more people are escaping the cult and will need to review the history of this administration through the lens of this collection so they understand what the rest of us have known all along--Donald Trump Is An Idiot! More than that, he's DANGEROUS!
Great review of a person who is very unstable and ignorant of American and world history, politics and human nature. Donal Trump is a dangerous man and a major threat to The United States and the world.
Well done!!! I hope this organianzation of the facts is easier for the Trump supporters to see the man as he really is and what he is capable of doing to our way of life.
This book is garbage. It's all nonsense. Donald Trump is not perfect, but he certainly is NOT an idiot. If you want to be honest about anyone's assessment. It's Joe Biden's and most of his Democratic cronies, they are all idiots.. Joe Biden is the biggest Idiot, listen to him... And the author of this book is an IDIOT. Well he fooled some of you, those who paid for his book. The Author is a LOSER.
While the book does go over several heinous bigoted things Donald Trump has said and done, its desire to dismiss these are "idiocy" rather than the violent bigotry they are is deeply concerning. Furthermore the book ends each section by asking for money from the reading, never before have I read a book that solicited donations repeatedly like it was Wikipedia during fundraising season.
Nothing new revealed here, but all damningly laid out for anyone with a functioning brain cell! How can you not believe or rely on information that’s been conclusively proven? A good book to read - just so you’re always reminded what’s at stake.
Only reason I kept reading was to see how much worse it could get. Asking for donations in every chapter explains you’re desperate for money. Please do not write another “junky” book!!
It is extremely hard convincing my Trump following relatives and friends in regards to Trump. I know for a fact that they're only source of news is from Trump's own mouth & - NewsMax - Fox news. I have recommended reading books about Trump who worked with or for him ; actually 28 books My favorites are Tower of Lies, Anonymous, Imposters, and now added this book to the list. My favorite video is Tony Schwartz in " THE Truth about Trump Unfortunately, for over a year, I have not been able to convince the above to read or watch anything negative about Trump even if it is based on facts. It is so frustrating to deal with these people. Nevertheless, I will try convincing them into reading 101 Indisputable facts but I think they'll see the title and refuse to look any further . Discussing but just stating a fact.
While I didn't learn anything new from this book because it is common knowledge that Trump is a moron, I am glad that someone put a very small portion of his idiotic Tweets, statements, blunders, etc. into one book. I would love to read it aloud to a group of Trump supporters and pause after each chapter to hear their defense of what this complete imbecile has been doing and saying for the past four years.
The constant requests for donations in this book were extremely annoying. I understand that the author needs money but I would have been much more inclined to donate if he had just asked once or twice and not after every single chapter. I assume I'm not alone.
President #45, who i refer to as Herr Orange, is a bane to the world. I blame NBC fit giving this idiot a platform on TV that kept him I the public eye. He's a buffoon whose gone bankrupt, all his businesses are gone, as he's a crude fool. I wish this had come out in, 2015 titled "TRUMP: DON'T VOTE FOR AN IDIOT", but it was still entertaining. Want to learn more about what a deadly fool he is? Read Football For A Buck. He's the same as was when he destroyed the USFL. Just a rich, pampered moron who isn't worth talking about.
Short, concise, and well documented mini-chapters of the deplorable and impactful statements and decisions that this madman, our 45th President, has said and done.
Donald J. Trump is our most embarrassing citizen, let alone the most vile person to ever hold the office of president of the United States.
Every single person who voted for this moron for president should read this book. These are facts, not ALTERNATIVE facts. (Still my most favorite statement to date)
An extensive but concise collection of reasons why Donald Trump should be defeated
I already knew, from extensive reading, that Trump is a vile, spiteful, vindictive, juvenile, lying, cheating, bully (a president that engages in name calling for Christs sake...most people get past that in grade school). This book compiles a broad range of examples of why Trump is a disgrace to the country!
This is a very brief, to-the-point book that describes incidents or statements that were misleading or outright mistruths and provides at least on explanation or refute. Most statements are explained in less than 3 pages. Interesting and short, it provides background on issues that may be brought up to slam the Democrats. This book clarifies the issues and responses to give some clarification and talking points.
While some of these "facts" are opinions like the one talking about his stance on abortion. It's worth a good skim and stopping where you find interest. Also, I agree with abortion but I understand that there are different views on the subject but this man was not. I repeat WAS NOT! The man to spread and help your views. This man has said so many and did so many dividing things that it aches me to see such a large amount of decent people cheering for him.
I again must ask the American people who voted for this moron why did you vote for him? Did you really think he was going to do what he said he was going to do during his last campaign? Do you know the wall was not built as he said it would be? Mexico is not and will not pay for it as he said. Remember? He truly is an idiot as this book shows but still MAGA you voted for him. What is wrong with you? Look for facts instead of lies. This Trump can not be trusted or believed.
Here is a group of people coming together to libel and slander a President pretending they are relying on “real journalism”, supposedly exemplified by CNN, The Washington Post and the New York Times. This premise alone makes this waste of words an existential ridiculosity.
Trump is an idiot! He will go down as the worst president ever. He is dangerous and reckless. I never understood what was happening until Biden won the election. I was literally holding my breath until Trump was defeated. If elected again, I would leave the country I love so much. Why, because Trump would be out of control in a second term.
Had there not been a link requesting donations at the end of every single chapter I would have rated this higher. Most chapters are a single page or two which equates to hundreds of pages worth of ads requesting donations to their website. I do like that the eBook has links to video evidence of the claims made. Actual videos, news articles, and social media posts.
Nothing new in this book except for the constant ads for the reader to donate money. Nothing in the chapters is new but just what the media etc have already written about Trump.
This President has done an extreme amount of harm to this country. From the day he took the path of office to this day his major concern has been what was best for him.
