About the author

Christine Caine is a speaker, author, and activist who has been serving the local church globally for over 30 years. She and her husband, Nick, founded the anti-human trafficking organization, The A21 Campaign, which works at the local, domestic, and international level to end modern-day slavery. They also founded Equip & Empower, a ministry that is mobilizing people everywhere to live on mission for Jesus. Propel Women is an initiative of the ministry dedicated to coming alongside women all over the globe to activate their God-given purpose. The ministry has also planted three life-giving Zoe Churches in Europe that are not only bringing the Gospel to the region, but also serve the most vulnerable through humanitarian outreach during times of crisis.

I love Christine Caine and the actual Unexpected book I give 5 stars; however, this companion study guide is just average. The layout and organization were a bit confusing. There were some thoughtful discussion questions; but overall I didn’t find that the study guide offered much extra to the already excellent book and video teachings.

I did not find this study guide very useful, although I absolutely loved the book that goes with this. Perhaps I would have gotten more out of it if I'd been doing it with a small group. As I was doing it alone, I didn't see that this added to my learning and understanding. I highly recommend the actual book she wrote though.

Great Study

I really enjoyed doing this study. I learned a lot about learning how to embrace the unexpected. I liked that there were a variety of topics covered here, and I would recommend this study to anyone who might want to learn about embracing the unexpected in life.
