When the only woman Xander cared for was ripped from his arms, nothing else mattered.
Now she’s back. Fragile and brave, beautiful and brilliant. Someone to protect, someone to fight for.
Except she doesn’t remember him at all.
Her curves and captivating scent drive him mad, demanding he cares for her, possess her.
He'll keep his mate safe, even if the Empire burns to ash around them.

Loree Sarratt is tired of everyone treating her like an invalid. Her hacking skills could save the Empire - if she's not arrested first.
First puzzle to solve? An overprotective pillar of muscle who turns her legs to jelly when he’s in the same room.
She can’t lose focus. But the heat of his gaze sends her pulse racing. His touch steals her breath. Everything tempts her to surrender…
And forget the danger she's in.

Loree Sarratt is the only woman Xander has ever cared for but she was ripped from his arms. At that moment nothing else mattered but now she is back - a fragile, brave and beautiful woman who gives him someone to protect and fight for - the problem is she doesn't remember him at all. He finds her curves and scent drives him mad and he will do everything he can to protect his mate - even if the Empire burns to the ground around them. Lorree is tired of everyone treating her like an invalid - after all her hacking skills could save the Empire as long as they don't arrest her first. Her first problem is actually Xander who is an overprotective pillar of muscle who turns her legs to jelly when he is nearby. To save them all she needs to not lose focus and not forget the danger she is in - even though the heat of his gaze and his touch tempts her completely to surrender.

I really enjoyed this story which had Lorree and Xander off on an adventure of their own which introduced a whole new set of people (both good and bad) to them both. I loved the great relationship between them and I feel that it was vastly improved by the time apart that they had. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.

Snared did just that, I was snared from the first page.

I have been so excited waiting to read Xander's story and I literally read the whole book without stopping. He is such a strong, protective character and his story certainly didn't disappoint. Loree is a brave, determined woman. Her character just doesn't give up. Together they have a dangerous, wild adventure while finding their true feelings for each other. I couldn't have imagined a better ending for their story. It was so perfect. The perfect amount of danger, excitement, risks, romance, and humor all wrapped up in this book

I have loved every single book in this series and am so pleased with Snared. Now I can't wait to see what's next.

Finally, Loree is back. I was so glad Doc is back and was able to fix Loree. Not as easy on Xander, though. After stasis, some of her memories are not there. Specifically memories of Xander. Just like the other Star Breed books, there is plenty of action, intrigue, fighting and love. Once and for all Xander and Loree are going undercover to try to stop Stanton from domination. This was a bittersweet ending, knowing that the brothers are going to be with the women they love in a semi-normal environment. There are also several single brothers needing mates. I am looking forward to Elin Wyn's new works and will patiently wait for our return to the Star Breed in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Loree and Xander

Her legs are fixed but she’s forgotten her past. She’s forgotten Xander. He still keeps an eye on her from a distance.

When Loree is kidnapped Xander is there to save her. Turns out her kidnapping gives them a lead in finding Stanton. Xander and Loree head out to get info on him.

I am enjoying this series with all its twist and turns on different worlds. This book was ok just not as interesting as the previous entries in this series. It would have been better as a novella between books because so much of the H&H’s background was in another book Definitely not a stand alone.

I couldn’t tell if this was the last book or not. Kinda felt like the last one but there are several more brothers left with a story to tell.

As usual Elin Wyn ensnared my attention straight away (sorry no pun intended)
I love the way that the story carries on from where we left off from Geir and Valrea's story in Craved.
We're still trying to stop the General and his hunters from trying to kill the guys from the Daedalus and all their friends. Now they have come up against a new problem. And to top it all of Xander has nightmares about Loree going into the Blue goop...and Loree? She doesn't remember Xander at all. Can they find their love again while fighting all the people who want to capture them and kill him? Oh and not everyone is as they seem so who can they trust

Finally more answers!

Loree wakes up from the induced cryogenic sleep she went into to save herself and she suffers from memory loss. Most importantly, she cannot remember Xander and why he thinks she is all but commited to being his woman. When they get thrown into a surprise mission together, they will find out if the close proximity will jump start her memories or not. And will Xander be able to stand by while Loree gets propositioned by nearly everyone they meet?
Many answers in this book and many things are wrapped up from the overarching plot. There is still another book in the series so we will have to see what's going on in that one....

I Want More!

I really loved this series and I want more. Xander, our hero, was awesome. He’s been pining for his lady and now that she’s back he’s not letting her go. Loree takes a bit to warm up to Xander but once she does she’s all in.

This one was good but not my favorite from the series. This story was more about wrapping up the plot line than the relationship development. But still I’m not mad at it.

Read this book if you want fiercely smart heroines and men who know when to get out of their way.

I received an ARC edition of this book from the author.

You really must read the previous books in the series to understand the background for this story.

This is my favorite story out of the series! I love Xander and Loree. I had liked the glimpse of them we had gotten in a previous book, so I have been eagerly anticipating this book (and it didn't disappoint!). There is a good bit of action to keep the story moving and I like getting to see glimpses of Xander's brothers.

One hell of a ride.

Great six book series. It is full on science fiction. Parts of it remind me strongly of Han Solo and the millennial falcon. A variety of takeover plots, monsters, different planets, cultures, seedy space stations, prison takeovers and mind control virus for a start. Of course there are six couples who meet and call in love with sidebits of lust, but the core of the story is people in a SCIFI world.

It all comes to this

Omg thanks t Doc Loree is of status and cured. Now if people would only stop acting like she still might fall over at any moment. There is a downside Loree doesn't remember anything from her time aboard The Star during her capture and even Xander. :(
That hasn't stopped either of them from having to fight back the nightmares. Or from being drawn back to each other.

Snared like all the other books in the Star Breed series was full of action, suspense, mystery and another wonderful romance between one of the pack brothers and the woman that has stolen his heart.
Finally Xander gets his HEA with Loree.
Hopefully in the future we get to see the four single brothers find their mates too......

Zander and Loree

Lots of things get resolved and loose ends get tied up. Zander gets his love back, but she doesn't recognize him at first. Like all the books in this series, Loree is a strong, smart woman and a match for her man. I liked the ending but their are still some mysteries left. I wish it had been longer, but maybe their will be more books coming.

Great story

Really loved the premis of the story line. The story progressed in a smooth fashion, characters were fleshed out. My only complaint would have to be the random typos. Luckily there weren't enough to ruin a very good read. Looking forward to more.

Outstanding!

Once again Elin Wynn has given us a great story that dovetailed so well with the previous books in the series. I love the characters of strong men and intelligent, equally strong women.

Pulled from stasis she doesn't remember him.

She was put under to save her life. He has been angry ever since. When she is healed and removed from stasis she doesn't remember him, which is devastating at first.

Good Read

Cancer and Loree's story is filled with adventure and uncertainties. These two are loaded with talent and can work their way threw any adversity that their mission takes them on. Stanton better watch his back in this one. DanaLynn

Another great series with drool worthy aliens. I loved that the aliens were so surprised by the fact that women did not simply accept their ownership. I was sad to see this series come to an end.
