After the unexpected death of his sweet grandma Merle he becomes the worst version of himself. Ultimately, he turns into a greedy, womanizing, atheist. He loses all JOY and could care less if he ever finds it again. The man upstairs has bigger plans. Asher is forced to live life through the eyes of three very different people. Each situations is unique and at times Asher struggles to cope. In each life Asher crosses paths with amazing people and butts heads with people that are not so different than his old self. His journey takes him from the early 1990's all the way up to present day. He has a hard row to hoe in Tennessee, busks on bustling streets of New York, and attends college for the first time in Michigan. When his journey comes to an end he is forced back into his old life.
