Another amazing story Melissa. So this is Heather and Rone's story, There chemistry is off the charts. How will Rone best friend Jay feel about him getting with Heather thats were the shite hits the fan because Heather' he's sister want more ON-CLICK NOW to read there story in full see if they get a HEA or go there separate ways. This book surprised me. It has such a well written storyline and plot. The characters are so well described and you get a lot of their background. It is written in a way that is feels realistic and that is very difficult for an author. The characters are likeable and relatable. Their chemistry is fantastic and steamy. It is very captivating and engaging. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the characters.
This story is of a great length. I just wanted to read on and know more. A true love story full of family, friendship and struggles. I love how this story unfolded in a unique way. The writing style and use of words made it unique. All fits together and the couple have to struggle a lot to get their HEA but it is worth to follow their journey to get there.
I have only positive things to write about this book, so I can only recommend it to others. Read it and get captivated from start to finish.

A story of a young couple who suppressed their feelings for one another due to loyalty. Once this couple do start on their journey together it is fraught with angst. However, the repartee between the two main male and female characters before, during and after sex is beautiful, sensual, teasing, intense and very loving. Charmed!
There is good insight provided by Ms. Devenport into getting a tattoo and what it really feels like during and after with the healing process.
This book is well worth the time for romance lovers to journey into Ms. Devenport's tale.

This wonderful romance is well-written, realistically portrayed, engaging and steamy. The characters are developed, likable, relatable and hide their true feelings due to circumstances. I enjoyed this entertaining story. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This is a story about best friends, Jay and Rone and their childhood along with Jay’s little sister, Heather and her childhood crush on her brothers best friend, Rone. These two have a decade of loving one another from afar as they don’t want to cross the line Jay set in stone years ago! One day Rone decides to get a tattoo and ends up in the place Heather works at and they start a friendship that quickly turns into a loving relationship. Heather is happy with her tattoos and hopes to one day be a tattoo artist but her mother is not the least bit okay with her life style and let’s her know it. Rone had a very bad childhood but does everything he can to become a better man. The connection and off the charts chemistry is beautiful to be a part of. Heather finally gets to a point with Rone that she does not want to hide her love and goes to speak with Jay and ask for his blessing. Things go horribly wrong and Jay takes his reaction to a point it never should have. Can this relationship and friendship ever find a way to happiness after betrayal and hurtful actions? You will fall in love with their journey and who they have become. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I must say this book deinitely pulled at the heartstrings. This story is about a love that spanned over a decade and still managed to blossom into something more. This story of love and the fight for it will leave you breathless and your heart pumping fast. Rone had loved Heather it seemed forever but it couldn't blossom because she was his best friend's little sister. So in his heart that love remaned strong but never acted upon. Heather is the beautiful little sis that only wants to be accepted for who she was. She never expected to see the man she had loved forever. These two fight for their love. Fight to stay together.This is very beautiful. Very stirring. A win for Ms. Devenport! Highly Recommeded!

I’m just not sure...
Ohh holy heck... this could have been an awesome book. Honestly, after Rone and Heather are reacquainted I was torn between wanting to end the book and finish it. I thought Heather was going to be this badass tattooed chick, but she was more concerned with how her brother and Mom were going to judge her life. Rone...whom I thought was going to be some bad boy Hero or something was LAME. Ther was just nothing heroic about him. Ugh. I wanted to like this book, I did. I’m glad it’s over. I just felt like the whole thing was rushed and the character development was trash.

Loads of potential
I loved the story and the characters. I would definitely read more by this author. The only issue...and it's a big one, is the lack of editing. There were issues with names, phrasing and in several places continuity. If she writes this well she needs a better team behind her to tweak her work. I recommend the book but not if your someone who would throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak. It's a good story...take it for that. If editing is going to drive you nuts and make skip over the storytelling and character development...this isn't for you.

Tearful but lovely

I enjoyed this story very much. Heather and Rone’s Story is very well written. Their love for one another began for a Heather when she was 12 years old and Rose was 16. I loved all the characters, even Heather’s over protective brother. I highly recommend this book.

Brothers best friend.
I haven't read any of the "Brother's Best Friend's" books before , and this one just spoke to me.
It was a good story line but for quite a few misspelled words.
Not a bad read, one that will make you keep reading to see what happens.
