GET READY FOR AN INTENSE, HOT and DIFFERENT STORY.
They played with fire. Savannah, only 19 and from an well-respected family. Mike, older than her, well muscled, slightly rugged and from a completely different background. Both deeply in love. Far too deep!
They met by coincidence one day when she needed a tattoo. He was the best artist around and the attraction was instant. In short time, their passion grew frighteningly strong.
However, since life hadn’t spoiled them with the best of circumstances they soon found themselves in the middle of a hot complicated mess. A big secret did very little to improve the situation.
If you are looking for a steamy book with fiery love scenes and an intriguing story, you found it.
*****
Tattooed Hearts contains no cheating, no cliff-hangers and a HEA. It might not be suited for a younger audience due to the graphic storytelling.
Blurb: They played with fire. Savannah, only 19 and from a stable family. Mike, a little bit older and from a completely different background. Both deeply in love. Far too deep!
He really only had eyes for one woman. But even though they were clearly compatible in every way possible, it still wasn’t a comfortable cruise down Easy Street. She was very young and he carried oversized baggage with ghosts from the past.
They met by coincidence one day when she needed a tattoo. He was the best around and the romance was born. Unfortunately everything went wrong. Very wrong.
Everyone makes mistakes.
For every action there is a reaction.
Does everyone deserve a second chance in life, or just some?
Loved it. It was heartwarming and heartbreaking great read. Loved the characters and her parents are great I know as a parent I would be disappointed too but I would still stick by my child regardless. Amazing great can’t say that enough.
I am voluntarily leaving a review for an ARC. This short read is a second chance romance by the wonderful author Melissa Devenport. Certainly a pleasant afternoons reading which I highly recommend. Mike Arman a talented artist and tattooist has just broken off a relationship with Christine who he had tried really hard to love for 8 months, but they just didn’t fit! He still has this abiding Love for Savannah Faccio who dumped him a year ago, with no reasons why. Kian his brother tells him that Savannah has a baby of 3 months, so he writes her the most beautiful, heart rending letter, with no judgement of her decisions, only love and support from him. Can Savannah learn to take the risk with Mike? Can she help to mend his tortured soul? Will they get their second chance? Will Christine let go?
I love reading Melissa Devenport's novels, each story has a way of getting under your skin, and TATTOOED HEARTS is no exception This is one that brings two people together from completely different backgrounds, she is from a loving family, he believes that he has never been truly loved.
Savannah and Mike were once a couple until Savannah broke it off, she got scared. She was nineteen and he was quite a few years older, she was a wild child and he was just as bad. Mike was utterly devastated, finding solace in the arms of another - but they weren't Savannah's and after six months he called it off due to the fact that he still loved Savannah. A year has passed and circumstances have changed for both, however Savannah is now harbouring a secret that she knows must be told.
Will Mike and Savannah have a second chance at happiness? Can he forgive her for the secret she kept to herself for so long? Will Mike's ex cause troubles that are unexpected? A wonderful story that is full of drama, angst, and some truly beautiful sensual scenes that will send your heart fluttering.
Ms Devenport certainly knows how to keep her audience captivated. A recommended read.

A different story and I like that about it. It is not the usual kind of second chance or secret baby story. It is well written and has a nice storyline and plot. The characters are likeable and well described. They develop through the story. Two persons with a lot of bagage from their past. There is instant attraction but can they act on it? A mix of drama, trust, lust, love, passion and emotional ups and downs. It has some twists in it. A steamy novel with lots in it. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. It is engaging and recommendable.
We all make decisions based on what we know and feel at a certain given time. The main female character made some decisions, not out of malice, however the decisions did have a negative effect on the main male character. This romantic novel was full of angst, drama, sabotage, and sensual scenes. There are strong, loving and supportive family and friends depicted in this novel. Very good reading!
I received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest review.
A great read with plenty going on, it's a second chance romance with secrets, a sexy tattooed guy and sweet scared nineteen year old. Savannah scared of her feelings for Mike runs, but finds herself pregnant. Mike splits with his current girlfriend after eight months and gets in touch with Savannah. I liked the story, but didn't care much for Mike at the beginning, I suppose he grew on me, and I reckon that's what made the book so good.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy
Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a very good second chance romance. The storyline is intense, descriptive, and steamy with flawed characters. I didn't always like the characters but they were relatable. I liked this book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
TELLING ONE’S SECRETS TO SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU, MAKES THE WORLD RIGHT
I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ADVANCE READER COPY OF THIS BOOK
Mike and Susannah have a history filled with omissions, mistrust and shyness. Tying the two characters and their fears together in a series of events, pulls the story together with each understanding the other.
This was a new author to me. Mike and Savannah get a second chance at love in this book. It was only a little over a year that they were apart but it was amazing to see how much they had both grown up. They fought for what they wanted and got their happy ever after.
Mikes girlfriend Christine couldn’t believe he was breaking up with her. she told him she couldn’t believe he was still pining for Savannah and that he wasted her time. Savannah meanwhile had her son Carter and was living with her parents. Savannah met Mike through his job working with Kian who she wanted as she was young and had a crush on him. When Savannah got pregnant she didn’t tell her parents that she knew the father. Savannah never called Mike to tell him that she was pregnant. Now Savannah thought is was far to late to let Mike know. Kian sees Savannah with the baby and when she saw her she somewhat freaked. Kian is telling Mike the story he thinks it is his baby but, if it was why didn’t tell him. Mike finally wrote Savannah a letter wanting to see her and talk. First she had to tell her family that Mike was the father of her baby. Savannah and Mike have been spending a lot of time with their son. Savannah was getting ready to bring their son to Mike’s house so he could be with him by himself. Savannah get to the front of his house when she sees this women standing with Mike and then she leans in and kisses him. That was the last thing she expected to see. Mike ran over to the car and tells her it’s not what she thinks and she tells him never to talk to her again. Mike was trying to get rid of Christine when Savannah pulled up. Savannah had made friends with Kian wife and she called her she needed to talk to someone. While they were talking she came to realize that she should give Mike another chance. She asked him again about what happened and she would know if he lied to her. Mike told her how much he has always loved her.
I read a lot of erotica romance novels each week I had to stop a few times to get a tissue and take a deep breath this story was so moving. This was the best one in a very long time.
I would definitely recommend this book to the contemporary romance novel reader. I was impressed with depth of Mike's character.
I received this book as an ARC but loved it so I'm voluntarily leaving this review. I fell in love with the characters in this book. I especially loved how they brought Kian and Katelyn into the story. Mike and Savanah had a shaky relationship but I loved their happily ever after. Maybe we might just see the again if Melissa Davenport decides to add to the series.
You have got to be kidding me! I can't believe some of the reviews here blaming Mike for dating Christine. For one thing, Savannah was a selfish little brat, why did she get pregnant and not tell Mike? The other reason was she was dating Mike only to get to his best friend that sounds like a flighty little wench to me I'm not understanding how reviewers are getting mad that Mike was dating someone else when clearly Savannah broke up with him and hid a baby for no reason. Was Mike supposed to pine away forever? Then not wanting to tell her parents the truth about the real father. Savannah should bear a lot of the blame for her stupidity. this book is stupid and childish and I feel like I wasted my precious time reading this gibberish.
I definitely kmew a second installment was in the works after Kian's beautiful story.. Mike's story was every bit as touching as KIan's He was a loner with a heart simply to full to content. His intensity ahd broodiness will touch you in all the right places. An invigorating tale of questioned love that already had the answers. This novel was a pleasure to read as per Ms. Devenport's talented pen always inspires.
Mike and Savannah dated for several months before she dumped him. Then things get interesting. No spoilers, but I will say that I'm so glad Savannah grew up and that Mike was a decent guy. He didn't do the "wham bam thank you ma'am" to get over her or anything. Thank you to the author for that! This was an enjoyable read that I would recommend. One complaint tho-the editing and/or formatting was off. This is a big pet peeve of mine, but I enjoyed the story so much that I could overlook it. I really liked how real and down to earth the characters were. No billionaire and virgin bs, no reformed manwh$#res, nothing but real people with real insecurities. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
Adventure of truth, love and a mysterious discovery. Enjoyable from start to finish. Facing fear head on to succeed in a mission that should have never ended.
I read the first book in this sequence and enjoyed the characters enough to continue to the next. It's a quick read, but can come across as a bit implausible at times.
The main characters are reasonably well developed, though the concept of having a child and immediately maturing can be far fetched. Still, I was cheering for them to get together so the attraction was well crafted. Secondary characters, other than Katelynn and Kian, felt more like stereotypes and backdrop than people. This may be due to the relatively short length of the book. There are also similar plot devices as in the first book - reading them back to back may not be the best technique as they're awfully similar.
The writing could use stronger editing, both for similar words and typos. I'm not sure if it's just the font I'm using, but many words had a space mid-word (ann oying) which is jarring. An example of the writing:
"I’ve loved you since the first time I ever saw you come into the shop. You were looking for Kian, to give him a message from your father. You were nineteen. You were wearing this little yellow sundress with a white flour on the right hand side of it. Right at the top. You had on a pair of yellow flip flops with the same white flowers. Your hair was dyed blonde and you had blue contacts in...”
Savannah and Mike had a relationship, but since she fell in love she was afraid that he would dumb her and break her hart, so she broke up with him. Not knowing she was pregnant. Now she had the baby and Mike heard from his companion she has a baby, now he wants to know if it is his or not.
Mike loved her too, but never said it. He would love to have her back, especially now they have a son together, but even if the baby wasn't his. Coming back together isn't easy, that is what this book is about.
This was a sweet and tender read. However, for a majority of the single mom's it is a total fantasy. To many men today walk away from there responsibility. To find one such as the character from this book is unique.
Enjoyed reading this book. Sometimes you never know what is ahead if you in life. Mike thought he lost the love of his life and found a perfect family that he never had.
