Marshall With Adrienne back in my life, once again I feel like anything is possible. Our relationship isn’t the same as it once was, but the strength of our love is palpable. Together, we’re unstoppable. Together, we can survive anything. The next item on my list, eliminate Lock. Our hearts have begun to heal, but our souls will remain shattered every day that he continues to walk this earth. But what if he’s not the only force working against us?
Adrienne This new life with Marshall is confusing but enlightening; scary but exciting. Something that I never dreamed I could have while I was under Lock's control. Waking up to Marshall was one of the best things that have happened in years. I’m not so naïve to think that Lock is out of our lives for good. I know he’s waiting, biding his time for the perfect moment to crash back into our lives. This time, I’ll be ready for him. This time, I won’t go down without a fight.
Lock If you thought you were in hell before, think again. You haven’t seen anything yet. You belong to me and when someone touches what’s mine, they suffer the consequences. Make no mistake, this time I will kill him; no more mishaps. There is no place you can go where I won’t be able to find you. When I do, you’ll wish you were dead, too.
Murphy Wallace delivered on a book that had my emotions all over the place—exactly what I love. I devoured this book in one sitting; anyone who dared try to interrupt me learned quickly that was impossible. This is one of those books that made me want to reach out to the author about the emotional torture I was put through, which means it is one of the best books I’ve read.
The character development of this book not only complimented book one, Stolen Love, but also deepened my connection to the characters the author created. Murphy Wallace made them so real that I needed everything possible about them and she executed it perfectly. The world building was intricate like book one and I felt like I was immersed in the pages, even when I was shouting at the book or flinching away.
The storyline of With Love did not disappoint at all. There are twists that really shocked me and kept me more than interested, I was obsessed with the outcome. This is not a book for the faint of the heart; instead it’s a dark reader’s delight. The depravity Murphy Wallace conveyed in the novel had my heart racing. This is a book that ripped out my heart and even made me cry. It is a credit to the author when I have to wait to review simply so I can be coherent enough to try and explain the brilliance of a book—and that’s what this is, absolutely brilliant.
5 stars for a wicked, heart ripping and superb read!
This was well worth the wait in the conclusion to Marshall and Adrienne's story. After three long years of searching for his wife, Marshall finally has her back, or so it seems. Adrienne still doesn't have her memory back, due to be drugged by Lock for years. They have a long road ahead of them trying to come to terms with everything that has conspired during their seperation. Will Adrienne be able to get past the horror she had to endure and get her memory back? Only time will tell. Be warned.... There are quite a few surprises in store in this one.
Murphy Wallace has delivered one of the best conclusion to a story I have ever read. I loved Stolen Love from the very first chapter but With Love blew me away I didn’t put the book down I wanted ever detail about these characters and what was going to happen and it was delivered. The emotions you experience along with these characters make you feel like you are in the story. This story pulls you in and doesn’t let go.
WoW This second book was a long time coming but Murphy Wallace did not disappoint, I loved part 1: Stolen Love and the second book: With Love takes us right back to the ending of part 1, it is very emotional in parts my heart broke for Marshall but he is strong and true love, patience and a trip down memory lane has to bring his Adrienne back, right?. However, it is not an easy fix, the scars on the outside will heal but those deep inside may never heal, especially when others are after Adrienne's heart.
Lock, this guy I have a love/hate relationship with him, wants his property back and in true Lock style he takes his anger and frustrations out on those around him.
Perfect gripping very well written series, containing, brutal violent scenes, hot sex scenes, emotional heart-breaking scenes and twists & turns that will have you hooked until the very end.
I absolutely loved ‘Stolen Love’ so I was very much looking forward to this sequel ‘With Love’. It was great to catch up on all the characters and find out the conclusion to their story. My car crash mentality mindset has to confess I was hoping to hear more from one of the most twisted sadistic book villains ever, the menacing Lock. He did feature but just not enough for me, though he certainly made his presence known when he appeared! Marshall is just so damn nice and his overwhelming love for Adrienne so strong. I also have to confess that Adrienne at times did annoy me and I wanted to shake her and I was shouting at my kindle, but that shows the character got to me which is positive. I’m on the fence with one of the other characters as that person seemed to have a personality transplant but you’ll have to read the book and make up your own minds as there will be no spoilers in my review! I’ll definitely read more from this talented author
I went into this story fully prepared to devour every word but hadn't expected the feelings that came with it. The author does an excellent job of ensuring you take the ride right along with the characters. I wanted to yell, cry and celebrate all at the same time.
When a book can do all that, its one I highly recommend.
I not so anxiously waited for the conclusion of this riveting duet by author Murphy Wallace...and she did not disappoint!
If you've read the first book Stolen Love, I'm not going to lie...it was pretty dark. I wasn't entirely certain how this book would play out. However, I was pleasantly surprised that we are brought into the light again, balancing out the story. But don't worry, for you dark lovers. The author still incorporates some dark elements into this tale.
Adrienne is a ghost of herself in the beginning, but slowly with the support of the man who loves her, she becomes strong and resilient. Despite the hell she was forced to endure at the hands of someone who she once trusted, she perseveres.
Then we have Marshall. Oh how I love that man. Is he the typical pushy, dominant alpha. Hell no! Does that make him a pansy? Absolutely not. His undying love for Adrienne. His patience in her recovery. His protective and nurturing nature. These are all of his traits. And that makes him more of a man in my eyes. He knows what is too much for her. But he's no pushover. When he feels threatened he doesn't back down. He just has more control, and approaches it in a way that doesn't upset Adrienne. LOVED HIM!
And with any great story, it's more than just about the characters. There's romance. There's drama. And there are forces going against the characters I love so much. In other words, it's a perfect ending to this story.
What a read! I was so anxious to get my hands on this story. Stolen Love had ended leaving a fire in my soul. I needed this next book and stat!
With Love, was such an emotional read. I was so torn between liking Owen and hating him! One of the things I liked most about this story is that Murphy Wallace picked up right where she left off and I was thrown into the story at full force once again. I was really impressed with this author and her writing style!
While mainly switching between Adrianne and Marshall’s points of views, I enjoyed reading the random Owen and Loch snippets every once in a while. Loch is seriously damaged goods! AND that bonus scene at the end?! So so worth it. My brain is happy everything was wrapped up in a neat the little bow!
After reading the first book in the duet, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one, it was definitely worth the wait ! Once again I devoured this book in on sitting, only putting it down to pee :')
Adrianne seems to be the same character we left behind in Stolen Love, someone who is living with the hell she was put through by a man whom she trusted. But with the love and support from Marshall she soon becomes a different version of herself and it was good to see that side of her.
Marshall is still the sweet, nurturing man that I loved in Stolen Love. He adores Adrianne and that obvious through every page of this book. He supports and protects her endlessly, patiently.
Lock, the man we all hate to love :D Of course I enjoyed reading his little snippets too. It wouldn't have been the same without him!
This story is heartbreaking and emotional but definitely worth the ride. Don't worry lovers of dark, theres plenty in here for you to sink your teeth in to along with plenty of twists and turns. I would absolutely recommend this duet to anyone who loves their romance with a side of darkness.
This conclusion of Stolen Love is utter perfection in every single way and I love this duet hard, the character development is outstanding and it delivers full force all the emotion that Adrienne and Marshall have gone through for 3 long years and is heartbreaking the pain that this man has endured for his wife and the love OMG the love his heart is so full of love and I am so happy he had Travis by his side its the most beautiful thing ever, now there is extreme violence that will have you biting your nails off but the flashbacks and the now will overcome that as Marshall introduces Adrienne to her life and he pulls out every single stop but Lock is still hunting and beware he is angry heads are gonna roll. I am so proud of Adrienne what a strong woman she has become and these two are HOT together like no other the feelings pour off the pages its like you can feel their emotion and dedication. I loved it and never wanted the last page to come.
With Love is the 2nd installment in the Wildheart duet. This book can NOT be read as a standalone. This conclusion was phenomenal!! Murphy went and delivered a story that went beyond my expectations. With Love starts off where we were left in Stolen love. Marshall and Adrienne's story continues. After being stolen and drugged for 3 years by Lock, Marshall somewhat gets his wife back. This book has quite a few twists and surprises so be warned. YOU WILL BE READING THIS ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT! I love, love this duet and NEED TO have it on PB.
This book was the conclusion of this duet and boy what a story this was, it will have your emotions all over the place, i flipping loved it. I devoured this book in one go as i couldn't put it down.
This book is brutal with heart breaking moments, this was a dark read with triggers but it was executed brilliantly, it was a gripping and emotional story that will pull you in and have you routing for this couple to get hea.
I can't recommend this duet enough, if you love a dark read this is definitely the books for you. A totally thrilling gripping story.
Having loved Stolen Love, I couldn’t wait to jump into With Love. Marshall is on a mission to heal Adrienne in body and mind and will do anything to protect her. She’s been left in a fragile state after her horrendous time with Lock, and there are lots of heart breaking moments throughout the book, as she battles to come to terms with her past as well as her future.
Lock, the character we all love to hate, is still lurking and the excellent timing of his appearances throughout the story, kept me on edge.
I found the pace of the story spot on, it proved to be a real page turner as I found myself shutting out real life to fully immerse myself in this captivating story.
I have no words. This is the highly anticipated conclusion to Stolen Love. It's amazing!! I could tell this book was a task of love. The writer has brought these characters to life and I'm still not over it. Marshal and Adrienne are the perfect couple. Will their happiness last with Lock around? Read it and find out now!!
Murphy Wallace has outdone herself with the conclusion of this duet. With Love is brilliant and was so worth the wait. I didn't think I could love Marshall or Adrienne any more than I already did but boy was I wrong. I am so looking forward to reading so much more from Murphy.
With Love by Murphy Wallace conveys an enthralling conclusion for all central characters and the reader. Murphy has the capacity to draw her readers in with a tumultuous whirlwind of rudiments of the essentials to a great read...dark, blind faith, soul searching, betrayal of love and revenge.
With Love is a well written read with both appealing and despised characters.
This reader commends the writer for having a strong female role model in Adrienne. She demonstrates that while she may bend, she does not fracture into a million pieces.
The author entwines the conclusion of this duet with each character getting precisely exactly what they are so richly are entitled to.
With Love was a 5 star read for this reader. This story allowed the reader to feel satisfied with the ending we all wanted.
Brilliant! I thought Stolen Love could not get any better but Murphy Wallace has done it again! Dark, sexy, sophisticated, and kept me on the edge of my seat!
The conclusion to Stolen Love was worth the wait. You will not be disappointed with the way this story unfolds.
This duet!! I can't believe I just stumbled upon this incredible duet.
Dark, steamy romance with a strong alpha male pitted against a truly psychotic villain. Lochlan is one of the most terrifying villains I've ever read, and I am so thankful the author didn't try to redeem him, or worse: brush his assaults under the rug and try to pass him off as an anti-hero. Thank you for not doing that to me, Ms. Wallace!
This definitely had a bit of an erotic thriller vibe to me because of the incredibly suspenseful plot and the dark ways of the villain. He is a connoisseur of torture and torture devices, fyi. Shudder.
This duet had it all- it was so exciting I couldn't put it down; so hot I found myself flustered. The villain was so terrifying that my heart was legitimately racing. It was at times crushing, other times heartwarming, and overall incredibly satisfying.
I highly recommend this duet to fans of dark romance/erotic thrillers. You won't be sorry!
A most spectacular ending to this duet! It comes together in a epic tale of true love. All I can say is that if you haven't read this series, you need to one click this now, you will not be disappointed. Lovers of dark romance, this story is for you. The characters are everything, Marshall and Adrienne are perfect and Lock, well, let me just say he's the worst villain ever and karma is a B! Murphy has found her niche and I look forward to more from this author.
Oh my goodness! Book 2 was fabulous! All the good things were on display for most of this book. It started happy and hung in there for a longggggg time. The tension was building like new construction on a building, brick by brick, page by page. Just WHEN was that EVIL MAN, Lock, going to show up? You just KNEW he was coming for Adrienne/Lana, but WHEN, WHEN, WHEN???!!! I was pretty-much reading on the edge of my seat for most of this book. Every time I turned a page, I thought that was going to be it. Lock was going to return. I just knew it. Sure enough, he eventually showed up. OH NOOOOOOOO! I had to throw the Kindle down! I truly detested that man! You NEED to know what happens to the long-suffering Adrienne/Lana. Grab With Love, Book #2, and hold on to your hat as you read this wonderful conclusion to The Wildheart Duet.
OMG OMG where do I start! I have waited for this book on pins and needles and when I finally got my hands on it let me tell you it did not disappoint. This was an emotional roller coaster ride from the beginning to the very last page. My heartstrings were constantly being pulled on. After finally getting his wife, Adrienne, back after three years of searching he has to fight for her again and it just makes you wanna scream. I started hating new characters like Owen and loving new characters. I love how strong Adrienne has become and turns into her own little heroine and maybe Marshall’s too. I think this is one of the best sequels to a book I’ve read. Murphy Wallace is an amazing artist and I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is a must read.
This was a great conclusion to a very dark and messed up first book. The writing style kept me very engaged even if it was pushing my boundaries. Lots of twists and turns that had me second guessing who was good and who was bad.
I've always hated strawberries with every ounce of my being but I might have to change my mind after this book though. One of the hottest scenes ever.
A dark and delightful conclusion to this amazing duet. Murphy Wallace gave us stellar characters and a gripping, emotional story throughout both books. With Love picks up where Stolen Love ended and sweeps us into the aftermath of Marshall’s rescue of Adrienne and their journey to try to get back to some semblance of a normal life.
Adrienne’s inner strength and determination help her to heal from the atrocities she endured at Lock’s hands. But will that be enough for her to feel again what she once did for Marshall?
Marshall’s unending persistence and love for Adrienne could be the key to getting past her vulnerability and mistrust, unlocking the memories of her past with him and leading her back to the man who loves her unconditionally. He just needs to convince her to let him in.
Lock is still lurking in the background, fuming over the loss of ‘Lana’. And he will go to any lengths to get back what he feels is his rightful property.
In addition to Lock, there are other factors at work, actively trying to keep Marshall and Adrienne apart. Will these others be able to tear the two lovers apart for good?
With their future uncertain, and forces working against them, can Marshall and Adrienne come together and reignite the trust, passion, and love they once shared?
The conclusion the Wildheart Duet did so with a lot of suspense and hide and go seek moments. Marshall has been able to save his love, he found what he has lost but alas his love does not know how to deal with her pain and her past. She's suffered so much, her body may heal but her mind is another matter.
And then there was the person who played an integral part in the rescue. What role does he play kept playing in my head! Not everything what it seems to me. With Love will leave you screaming at the characters to see what is right in front of them. It will make you heart beat fast and your hands clammy. Will the young woman be able to move past her fears and her torture to once again embrace love.
Or will Loch's misery and pain torture her forever and make her lose her second chase at love. What will Loch do when he finds them? Will he succeed in finding them? Will Marshall be able to save her at all cost? And will their partner in crime come in handy or be a detriment to the plan.
The second instalment in this duet is just as beautifully written as 'Stolen Love', with brilliant characters and world building. This story is lighter, with more romantic and sweet elements, but is not for the faint of heart, as dark, twisted and violent scenes are still incorporated. Be warned, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat and you will want to read it in one sitting to get answers.
Will Adrienne get her memories back and be able to move forward? What is Owen's deal? Will they ever be able to stop hiding and live normal lives? Will Lock get Adrienne back?
The character development is outstanding, particularly with Adrienne, as she not only tries to reconcile everything she learns from her past, but also becomes a new woman. Marshall is once again the hero, with Lock as the anti-hero and villain.
All in all, a great conclusion to the duet and definitely a book I would recommend to dark romance lovers. I will definitely be reading more of Murphy Wallace's books.
It was OK, but not mind blowing. Again, I expected more since it was labeled as a "dark romantic suspense", and had decent reviews. I was hoping book two would pull the story together and help me to like the characters. It had violence, but again not really believable. It had one steamy chapter, but that fizzled out too soon. I still felt like a lot of the story was too choppy and sometimes scenes just came out of nowhere, just couldn't keep up any focus or momentum. The characters never really popped, the emotions felt forced. I read a lot, four to five books a week, most weeks, so I have read a ton of different authors. This was my first book/series by this author. I'm pretty sure it is my last as well. Another 2.5 stars.
Wow, just wow. This was the conclusion to Stolen Love and I am sad that it has come to an end. This duet was amazing and I am going to miss Marshall and Adrienne and maybe Lock, just a little though. Marshall and Adrienne are meant to be and I am beyond ecstatic that they got their happy ending. Marshall is the kind of man that every girl dreams of and he had me swooning all throughout both books. I don't want to give out any spoilers so if you haven't read either books, read them both, like NOW. You won't be disappointed.
Wow what an amazing conclusion to this duloagy. You definitely need to read book one in order to understand book two. This book starts where book one left off, and let me tell you from beginning to end I was completely entertained. I seriously couldn’t put this book down. I really appreciate and enjoyed how we get glimpses of the three main characters, on how they feel and what’s really going on inside their heads. I definitely recommend this book and I can’t wait to see what other stories Murphy will bring in the future. I’m so happy I was introduced to this author work!!!
