Hannah’s story is one that all women can relate to. Hannah is a woman who is relentless, passionate, and determined after what God had promised her. The Hannah Anointing by Michelle is a short but meaty novel for all women that are enduring the season of waiting. Michelle uses Hannah and much more scripture to equip the reader to wait like Hannah and be fruitful during the wait.
I feel that this book came to me in my wait at just the right time. After reading this book, I can say that I will be passing it onto friends and keeping one for safe keeping here in my home with me. The reason why the Hannah Anointing is so powerful is the scripture chosen to convery the message, easy application, and prayers that unfold inside. As you read through the pages you are able to relate to who Hannah is and all the other Hannah’s out there, knowing you are not alone in the wait.
I believe one of the most beautiful things about this book is the way that it ends (which is hard to say for a book lover). Michelle McClain Walter’s has a way of pointing out that Hannah did not have an example to follow in her wait, however she left us one of the greatest one’s to follow. Throughout this novel I feel like I got to know Hannah and it has given me even more of a love for God and his word.
Throughout the Hannah Annointing you will be taken through an adventure with Hannah and the God that so loves her. You will see how she handled things with such grace and elegance, continuing to worahip the Lord despite the wait. Throughout this book you are taught how to wait gracefully, fruitufully, and handle what tries to come against you in the wait just as Jesus would want you to.
I have read some wonderful books in my day. However, there is just something about The Hannah Anointing that you take with you well after the book is closed. Anything under 5 stars would be unjustified. This is one of the books that will change your life the moment you start to read it!

This is by far my favorite Anointing book from Michelle.

I love how she broke down the story of Hannah and then brought in our realities and what could be preventing us from walking into our destinies.

We all have too many Peninnah's in our lives and we must get before God and pray until He brings forth His promise in our lives. Michelle gives us insight and experiences to each point she makes with scripture to back it up.

A wonderful read and look forward to reading both The Deborah and Anna Anointing.

Need motivation?

This is a great reminder of Whose we are in the Lord. And that He shall never leave us nor forsake us. The battles we fight are not ours. We need only to surrender...and when we get weary, we need only to look up. Stay focused on those things which are above and not on those which are below. Greater is He who lives in us!

I have loved every single one of Michelle McClain-Walters' Anointing books, but THE HANNAH ANOINTING and THE ESTHER ANOINTING are at the very top of the list as not just G.O.O.D., but AMAZING! I found myself highlighting one passage, one line after another! As I look back through the book, there is barely anything I didn't highlight! And of what I didn't highlight, I forced myself not to because I didn't want to highlight the WHOLE book!! I cannot wait for the Bible Study to go with THE HANNAH ANOINTING (and THE ESTHER ANOINTING). Since only THE DEBORAH ANOINTING has a Bible Study so far, I have had to create my own because I just cannot wait for them to come out before I share these books with my ladies in my Bible Study!!!

As a woman who struggled with wanting more than one living child and who was unable to keep several pregnancies, THE HANNAH ANOINTING hit home. Everything Michelle discusses in her book made perfect sense and went along with what I have studied on my own regarding Hannah's story. It's wonderful to have confirmation of my own studies as well as to have the added touch of an anointed servant of God willing to share what God has laid on her heart for a new generation of Hannahs!

If you don't read any other book this year--non-fiction, read THE HANNAH ANOINTING.

Hannah is such a beautiful example for us women, she is resilient, humble, brave... A woman of prayer, who rely on God in difficult times.

The word of God was rare at that time, Hannah surrendered her desires to God. She prayed that her child will be an instrument in God's hands. He heard her prayer and answer it, Hannah's son Samuel became a Prophet.
Hannah learnt to be patient, to wait on the Lord. She won her battle on her knees, she was faithful and honored her vow to God.

This is a very encouraging book and I liked the fact that there were also prayers throughout the book.

Insight is key!!!

Great book and very insightful!! The prayers and declarations at the end of each chapter were like my hearts cry out to my Father! I recommend this book for the women whom Father has set aside in their waiting season, there's purpose for the wait and we must be desperate for Him and not what we desire!! He will come through just He did with Hannah!!! Be Blessed!!!

Went through this book with a Bible study this semester! The story of Hannah speaks to my personal story so I found this book to be a gift in this season. The author breaks apart the story of Hannah and each character in it, pointing out the role they could symbolize in our own lives. She reminds women that are hoping + waiting of their power and destiny through life with Holy Spirit. Women are lifebearers and kingdom bringers that encompasses more than just childbirth.

This book is really good. I was not very familiar with this author but I was impressed with this book! I felt like I had been through a really good Christian counseling session by the end. There was so much good packed into this small book! I definitely recommend it for Christian women. If you feel like you are In a season where you are waiting for prayers to be answered, this is the book for you!!

In this book the author gives her readers a greater depth into the word “resilience “. We can truly see and learn from Hanna as she prayer and pressed through the obstacles that she faced. She could have given up but she continued to cry out to the Lord for help and He heard her cries.

It was a slow read for me because I believe the first few chapters are geared to a woman looking for a specific prayer to be answered .

Once I got passed those chapters I was thoroughly happy and satisfied with the “anointing” the book delivered.

Besides reading the Bible fully through for the first time, this will be the best and most life-marking book I’ve read all year.
