Good beginner book. Excellent description of the source and scope of the Mediterranean way to eat.
The basics for pantry staples, cooking techniques, food pyramid and benefits are well written and easily comprehendible .
I look forward to trying the recipes and expanding my cooking options.

Informative

The explanation of the diet and its benefits was easily understood and encouraging. There is a useful listing of foods to put in the house for making this lifestyle change happen. Most of the recipes are appetizing and simple.

This is a wonderful book with clear recipes. Also a guide to foods and spices needed to stock your kitchen. The Mediterranean food pyramid is awesome and makes eating Mediterranean easy

Healthy for you

Read about the fact and benefits doing a Mediterranean diet. The shopping list is a good start, so you get familiar with the right food. Recipes that will get you started on you healthy lifestyle.

I couldn't find the English edition of this book, so I leave a review here.
Great practical advice with delicious meals. It is supposed to be a diet book but it is so delicious that you think it is a sin to eat.

Fabulous recipes

Great recipes, I'm so excited to try them! I've tried similar recipes so I know the flavors will go together perfectly. None of the ingredients are super weird either. Great recipe book!

Good advice, but...

Great advice on how to enjoy a healthy diet. The recipes, however, did not match the advice. Too much meat and cheese.

Some good recipes. A nice introduction if you don't really know much about Mediterranean dieting.

Great!!

Great recipes and explained in detail exactly what the med diet was. I've been looking for a book like this for a while!!

Short and sweet

I loved reading this book! It was a great short and sweet read of the rundown on what a Mediterranean diet and lifestyle are. I hate how so many diets constantly require the elimination of certain foods or even entire food groups. This has taught me how well I can eat while still enjoying a bit of everything but just being mindful of the frequency of when I eat particular types of foods

Easy to read. Great recipes. Only a few items that I was not familiar with but I'm sure I will be able to find at my local store or organic shop.
