When is this guy getting a proper antagonist? It's not like this series is doing anything overly original, but at least it had the novelty element. Now it's just trying too hard. Let's see what the hitman does in his regular, everyday job. It's become so artificial, it hurts.
I read this series online over 3 days and didn't really stop to think of it as a serialized work. So this is more a general review of the whole series without spoilers.
Overall: I really liked it. This could have been very generic however the strong character decisions and quirks make this series a blast to read and very fun time.
I do feel the series eventually becomes more story driven and a bit more boring as we get less character moments. The ending to me is weak.
However as a whole work I enjoyed it and had a great time
A bit less action packed/intense than the first two volumes, but you can tell it’s starting to set up the larger story arcs and I’m very curious to see what they’re going to do with those.
Ohh the "in the mountains" chapter is a helluva story. I can't handle my laugh bcs how hilarious kuro guy is, i mean, he got attacked by a bear so... This is the best thing i've read in ages.
