Parker, Bogart and Royce started their International Guy company right after college. It's a company to help women reach their full potential in the job or in life. Like for example the current client is a fashion designer in Milan who needs help with his 'normal' models. He created a line of lingerie for every woman out there. Small, large, big, all of them. But they're all untrained civilians. Our guys come in to help them walk down the runway. Be confident. Proud. Whatever is needed to make that fashion show a success.
That's Milan. Next up is San Fran to find a husband for a finance executive and then we'll go to Montreal to find a spy in a software company.
And all through those jobs Parker is in love with Hollywood superstar Skyler. Book #3 ended a bit shaky for our darlings, but everything is back on track ... for now. The paparazzi, jealousy, exes, fears and both their jobs are not making it easy ....

Well, that was so much better than the first three books. OK, the first ones weren't bad at all ... We had to get used to those guys and everything they are and do and want and say. They're still a bit frat-boy-ish in the way they talk and act. But they're also very talented in what they do and I really love that.
And I love the Parker-Skyler love story. #SkyPark ♥
All very adorable and erotic and frustrating! I hope it's not going back and forth between those two all through the 12 books!!! I want them happy and together.☺
And I want the other 2 guys to find their HEAs too!
I can't wait for the next book!
I really like how Audrey tells us a bit about every city we're in. Missed that a bit this time.

Oh - a tiny thing I don't love. What is it with all the HOW'S ABOUT??? I would understand it if one of the guys would use how's about as the first words of a question (how's about we don't do that!), but others use it too! Is that a dialect from wherever Audrey is from? So very weird!! ☺ The whole talking thing is a bit weird in this book. They all talk weird! ☺
INTERNATINAL GUY, VOL II was a great 2nd book in this series. Erotic, fun, frustrating, exciting, adorable. ☺ Run to your nearest amazon for your own Parker, Bogart & Royce - they will be sold out in no time!!! I just adore those guys! Even though they might deserve a few slaps here and there. ☺

In meno di tre giorni ho completamente divorato questo secondo libro dell’avventura del nostro Dream Maker, è stato un susseguirsi di colpi di scena ad ogni capitolo... pura estasi davvero!
La scrittrice ti fa coinvolgere con la sua scrittura semplice e scorrevole, in grado di regalare ogni sorte di emozione, riesce a farti ridere e al tempo stesso commuovere. Sempre di tre storie diverse, con coinvolgimenti diversi e personaggi diversi che hanno bisogno dell’International Guy, sanno il fatto loro questo portentoso quartetto composto da un trio di ragazzi con lo scopo di aiutare chiunque abbia bisogno di loro e da questa esuberante ed energica hacker.
Parker durante il percorso ha avuto modo di conoscere più a fondo i propri sentimenti per la bella Skyler, la quale ha avuto un momento davvero brutto per via del suo ex (fatemelo dire bastardo) che per poco non ha minato (per un certo momento) la sua relazione con Parker, il quale già una volta tradito ha pensato che anche stavolta fosse accaduto lo stesso... insomma un gran malinteso su tutti i fronti.
Sono premurosi i migliori amici di Parker i quali lo hanno aiutato restandogli accanto, questa è ció che definirei la VERA AMICIZIA!
La storia che più mi ha emozionato è sicuramente quella di Montreal, come una donna si possa abbassare per ottenere qualcosa (per me è squallida) pur di essere la prima del suo campo e primeggiare, ma lo shock è arrivato con un colpo di scena e una fine in ospedale per uno del quartetto dell’International Guy... non vi diró altro in merito

First Parker needs to get things straight with Skylar before he’s off to Milan with Bo where a lingerie designer hired average women instead of models and the guys are to help the designer and the make the women feel confident in their role.
Then it’s Parker and Royce, headed to San Francisco to help a successful woman who’s practically married to her business find a man.
And in the end they whole team is in Montreal to help the genius CEO of a Tech-Company, who happens to look like a Playboy Bunny and has her eyes and hands set on Parker.
Milan continues just where Copenhagen left off and what I loved in this collection even more than in the last, was the friendship between the guys, always giving (sometimes unwanted) advice and insight, supporting each other at all times. And them taking in Wendy as part of their family is just perfect.
I also am a fan of Skylar and Parkers relationship. Whenever there was a problem or a misunderstanding and I expected unnecessary drama, they actually handled it like reasonable adults. Even the last big thing, though blowing up, doesn’t feel overdramatic.
The whole thing appears repetitive at times but it’s originally written to be three individual novellas, so that’s fine. But I did like the personal drama more than the job each book is about, at least in San Francisco and Montreal - these are too similar for my liking. And I’m totally fine with the erotic touch in all of these but how these people always run into people who want to jump them instantly is too much for my liking.
I like Carlans easy style and that that we get each ending in Skylars voice. And that Cliffhanger in the end is really good, so I won’t be waiting too long before I read the next collection.

I was so happy to continue this series thanks to NetGalley. I read Volume 1 and loved it. I absolutely couldn't put it down. Now Volume 2 was no different. We have Parker again being a smooth lover and ladies man. We see how he has matured with the help of his relationship with Skylar the actress. Yes at times they have a few rocks in the road but together they can conquer it.
The IG family has gotten bigger with Wendy but she fits the puzzle perfectly. She is too cute and funny. The ending again leaves you with a cliffhanger wondering if Wendy will pull through.
We see more of Royce and Bogart in this one. Poor Royce is looking for the love of his life. He thought he found in this volume. The only thing he didn't know was that the woman was already in love and didn't know it.
Now this volume touched me with it's message you should love yourself deeply. Another reminder to embrace your inner beauty. I can't wait to read the next one. This series is a must read.

This is such a great second volume to this series. I like how these books are well written and the characters are great as well.

Was für eine Zeitverschwendung.
Wenn ich nicht Teil 3 zum Vorablesen bekommen hätte und lesen müsste, hätte ich diesen Band schon längst gegen eine Wand geschmissen und hätte möglicherweise zum 1. Mal ein Buch abgebrochen.
Das Buch selber ist wieder hauptsächlich aus Parkers Sicht geschrieben. Am Ende jedes Abschnittes gibt es dann ein Kapitel aus Skylers Sicht.
Der Schreibstil war, wie immer, solala. Das, was mich schon im 1. Band gestört hat, hat mich hier wieder gestört.
Dazu hingekommen sind aber noch so einige andere Dinge, die das Buch einfach schlecht gemacht haben.
Immerhin ist das Cover hübsch anzusehen.
Diese Serie wird aber auf jeden Fall die letzte sein, die ich von dieser Autorin gelesen habe. Ich bereue es meine Punkte für Teil 3 eingelöst zu haben und würde mich am liebsten davor drücken den nächsten Band zu lesen. Aber naja....
Direkt empfehlen würde ich diese Serie jedenfalls nicht, aber da Geschmäcker und Meinungen unterschiedlich sind würde ich auch nicht davon abraten. Muss jeder selber wissen, ob man der Serie eine Chance gibt. Auf jeden Fall sollte man aber Alle Teile hintereinander weg lesen, da es keine Standalone-Geschichten sind und es weiterhin nur um das eine Paar geht.
Was mich genau gestört hat an diesem Teil? Ein paar der Dinge Liste ich einfach mal auf (Achtung: Spoiler):
1: Wie bereits erwähnt, haben mich viele Dinge, die mich im 1. Band schon gestört haben, hier wieder gestört. Zum Beispiel diese merkwürdigen und schrecklichen Kosenamen (Süßer, Bruder,...).
2. Die Autorin scheint überhaupt nicht zu Recherchieren oder nur minimal. Ich bin ausgebildete Mode-Designerin. Habe mit Models gearbeitet und hatte ebenfalls schon die ein oder andere Fashion-Show. Audrey Carlan hat ganz offensichtlich keinerlei Ahnung, wie das Mode-Business abläuft und hat ein falsches Image davon dem Leser nahe gebracht. Kein Mode-Designer würde so arbeiten, wie der Kerl in diesem Buch. Mode-Designer, die so bekannt und erfolgreich sind, wie er haben ein komplettes Team, mit denen sie arbeiten. Für Fashion Shows werden extra Choreografen und auch sonstige Leute engagiert. Alles wird bis ins kleinste Detail geplant und schon Monate vorher abgesprochen. Mal eben ein paar Kleidungsstücke designen und eine Woche vor der Show noch schnell Stücke zur Kollektion hinzufügen und nähen? Ha! Nie im Leben würde das ein Designer machen. Die sind mit der bestehenden Kollektion meist noch bis 1 Sek vor der Show beschäftigt. Designer buchen nur professionelle Models von Agenturen und keine Menschen von der Straße (Und selbst, wenn sie von der Straße sind, werden diese nur unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen und vorheriger Kompatibilität [Gespräch, Probelauf, etc.] engagiert). Es gibt Modelagenturen, die auch Plus-Size Models und auch Menschen z.B. mit Behinderungen, etc. vertreten. Menschen, die unfreiwillig und unsicher modeln, werden nicht eingesetzt. Eine Show ist sehr, sehr teuer und sehr wichtig. Es geht um Werbung und das Image des Designers. Niemand würde da jemanden einstellen, der unprofessionell ist und Schaden anrichten und unliebsame Aufmerksamkeit auf das Label ziehen könnte. Ich könnte hier noch etliche weitere Punkte aufzählen, aber im Grunde läuft es einfach nur darauf hinaus, dass die Autorin 0 Ahnung hat von der Branche und ihre Arbeit (Recherche) nicht gemacht hat. Dabei gibt es sooo viele Dokus, die man sich anschauen kann und die einem einen kleinen Einblick in die Fashion Branche bieten.
3. Zum Wiederholten Male betreibt diese Autorin Bodyshaming. In jedem Buch, das ich von ihr gelesen habe macht sie schlanke Menschen nieder und beleidigt diese ("Wer will schon ein Skelett? Nur Hunde spielen mit Knochen. Sie ist viel zu dürr- ich mag mein Mädchen lieber mit etwas Fleisch auf den Rippen. Und so weiter). Solche Aussagen ziehen sich immer wieder durch das Buch. Darüber reg ich mich echt auf. Und dann so scheinheilig tun und schreiben: "Alle Frauen sind schön: Lehrerin, Büroangestellte, usw" (Kein Wortlaut). Was hat der Berufsstand einer Frau mit dessen Körperform zu tun? Diese Autorin kann gerne ihren männlichen Protagonisten eine Körperform bevorzugen lassen, aber man muss dafür nicht andere niedermachen. Offensichtlich mag Audrey Carlan etwas fülligere Frauen, was ja völlig ok ist. Aber man sollte dann doch in der Lage sein, Frauen, die ihrem ideal eben nicht entsprechen nicht zu beleidigen. Eine Autorin sollte ihren "Einfluss" nutzen und Leser zeigen, dass man allen Körperformen tolerant gegenüber sein sollte und Beleidigungen in allen Richtungen ein No-Go sind. Frauen sollten sich gegenseitig akzeptieren, respektieren, unterstützen und aufbauen und nicht feindlich gegenüber stehen so a la Dick vs. Dünn. Einfach idiotisch. Übrigens kann ich es nicht oft genug erwähnen: Kurven sind jene Rundungen, die Frauen weiblich erscheinen lassen (Brüste, Po Kurve von Taillie zur Hüfte). Und solche Kurven hat jede Frau- mal mehr mal weniger. Speckröllchen, die schlanke Menschen ebenfalls haben können, zählen übrigens nicht dazu. Auf jeden Fall ist das ein Punkt, der mich tierisch stört an Audrey Carlan´s Schreibstil.
4. Später im Buch kam dann die Aussage "Seine sexuellen Vorlieben sind anormal". Das war, bevor man mehr über Johan erfahren hat. Dementsprechend bezieht sich das jetzt nur, auf die Aussagen, die vorher getätigt wurden und in Bezug auf die Fotos von Skyler stehen. Also persönlich finde ich nichts anormales an den Aktivitäten, die die beiden da getätigt haben. Und generell Leute für ihre sexuellen Neigungen zu verurteilen, die legal und in beiderseitigen Einverständnis ausgeübt werden, finde ich auch total bescheuert. Wenn Audrey Carlan auf "Blümchensex" steht und nicht experimentierfreudig ist, ist das ihr Ding, aber man sollte so offen sein und anderen Menschen, die eben andere Vorlieben haben und neugieriger sind nicht als anormal abzustempeln. Man sollte jeden so leben und lieben lassen, wie es die Personen wünschen. Wie gesagt- über Johans Vorlieben erfuhr man ja erst später mehr selbst da ist, glaube ich, bis auf eines, alles legal.
5. Das Buch war wieder gefüllt mit Wiederholung über Wiederholung. Ganz ehrlich, schön für Parker, wenn er Skyler toll, sexy, hübsch, talentiert und was weiß ich noch findet. Es reicht mir, wenn ich es 1x lese. Aber ständig den gleichen Mist, nur um das Buch künstlich in die Länge zu ziehen. Sorry, aber das nervt. Dazu kommen noch die ständigen Aussagen und Wiederholungen über seine Ex. Sie hat ihn mit seinem besten Freund betrogen und ihn verletzt und er hat dadurch Vertrauensprobleme usw. Ich hab´s verstanden- schon beim 1. Mal. Ich muss es nicht noch 50x lesen. Die Sexszenen sind auch alle irgendwie recht ähnlich. Die Protagonisten sind, wenn sie nicht gerade mit einem Kunden arbeiten oder "vögeln" in einer Bar. Ernsthaft- Treffen sich alle zusammen in einer Bar um sich kennenzulernen, sind nach Feierabend in einer Bar, sind am Flughafen in einer Bar, sind im Hotel in einer Bar, sind mit dem Kunden in einer Bar, etc. Wirklich sehr originell (Augen roll).
6. Alles war vorhersehbar. Das Drama- alles so typisch und schon tausend Mal gelesen.
7. Skyler verhält sich nicht wie eine Frau Mitte 20. Sie wirkt immer wie ein pubertierender Teenager. Total kindisch, naiv und dumm. Parker ist auch nicht gerade der männlichste und intelligenteste Typ und verhält sich auch nicht seinem Alter entsprechend. Generell schafft es die Autorin nicht die männlichen Protagonisten auch männlich wirken zu lassen. Kein Mann spricht oder denkt so.
8. Die Protagonisten reisen in 3 Städte. Aber von den Städten bekommt man überhaupt nichts mit. Im Grunde genommen hätte alles auch an einem Ort stattfinden können. Man bekommt nur das innere von Gebäuden und das Dekor beschrieben. Die Städte- keinerlei bzw. minimal Infos gibt es dazu. (So gut wie...) Keine Beschreibung von Landschaften, der Architektur, der Kultur...
9. In San Francisco hat diese eine Irre eine Vase auf ein Glastisch geworfen und dieser Glastisch ist dann zerbrochen. Lol. Audrey Carlan hat zu viele Actionfilme geguckt. Als würde ne Vase in der Lage sein einen Glastisch in tausend Teile zerspringen zu lassen. Ein Glastisch ist dazu gemacht einiges auszuhalten- unter anderem auch Gewicht. Also diese Szene war total absurd.
10. Die Erpressung von Skyler- Auch hier hätte Audrey Carlan nochmal recherchieren sollen. Recht am eigenen Bild? Schon mal davon gehört? Johan hätte diese Bilder nicht einfach für ein Buch nutzen können. Er hätte sie gegen ihren Willen veröffentlichen können, aber er hätte sich strafbar gemacht, zumal diese Fotos ja auch gegen ihren Willen entstanden sind. Die Erpressung usw. war einfach totaler Quark und unnötiges bla bla um Drama zu erzeugen. Und dann soll Johan ein Treffen in Begleitung seines Anwalts mit Skyler geplant haben? Obwohl er pleite ist? Wie kann er sich denn bitte seinen Anwalt leisten ohne Geld? Der will schließlich auch bezahlt werden. Total unlogisch.
11. Der letzte Abschnitt war auch nur Blah...Musste total an die Metoo-Bewegung denken. Nur, dass hier Parker von dieser Schreckschraube sexuell belästigt wurde und nicht eine Frau von einem Mann. Keine Ahnung, ob das Absicht war und die Frau so rüberkommen sollte. Auf jeden Fall wirkte es auf mich etwas abstoßend.
12. Oftmals kam ich mir vor, als würde das Buch für Leute mit geringen IQ geschrieben worden sein. Jeder Mist wird erklärt. So als hätte man ein Kind vor sich, das die Welt noch nicht versteht. Geht mir richtig auf den Keks.
Es gab noch mehr Dinge, denke ich, aber irgendwann ist auch mal Schluss. Keine Lust mir jetzt noch weiter den Abend vermiesen zu lassen, indem ich weiter darüber nachdenke. Wie gesagt- jeder muss seine eigene Meinung über das Buch und generell die Serie bilden.

Dazu hingekommen sind aber noch so einige andere Dinge, die das Buch einfach schlecht gemacht haben.
Immerhin ist das Cover hübsch anzusehen.
Diese Serie wird aber auf jeden Fall die letzte sein, die ich von dieser Autorin gelesen habe. Ich bereue es meine Punkte für Teil 3 eingelöst zu haben und würde mich am liebsten davor drücken den nächsten Band zu lesen. Aber naja....
Direkt empfehlen würde ich diese Serie jedenfalls nicht, aber da Geschmäcker und Meinungen unterschiedlich sind würde ich auch nicht davon abraten. Muss jeder selber wissen, ob man der Serie eine Chance gibt. Auf jeden Fall sollte man aber Alle Teile hintereinander weg lesen, da es keine Standalone-Geschichten sind und es weiterhin nur um das eine Paar geht.
Was mich genau gestört hat an diesem Teil? Ein paar der Dinge Liste ich einfach mal auf (Achtung: Spoiler):
1: Wie bereits erwähnt, haben mich viele Dinge, die mich im 1. Band schon gestört haben, hier wieder gestört. Zum Beispiel diese merkwürdigen und schrecklichen Kosenamen (Süßer, Bruder,...).
2. Die Autorin scheint überhaupt nicht zu Recherchieren oder nur minimal. Ich bin ausgebildete Mode-Designerin. Habe mit Models gearbeitet und hatte ebenfalls schon die ein oder andere Fashion-Show. Audrey Carlan hat ganz offensichtlich keinerlei Ahnung, wie das Mode-Business abläuft und hat ein falsches Image davon dem Leser nahe gebracht. Kein Mode-Designer würde so arbeiten, wie der Kerl in diesem Buch. Mode-Designer, die so bekannt und erfolgreich sind, wie er haben ein komplettes Team, mit denen sie arbeiten. Für Fashion Shows werden extra Choreografen und auch sonstige Leute engagiert. Alles wird bis ins kleinste Detail geplant und schon Monate vorher abgesprochen. Mal eben ein paar Kleidungsstücke designen und eine Woche vor der Show noch schnell Stücke zur Kollektion hinzufügen und nähen? Ha! Nie im Leben würde das ein Designer machen. Die sind mit der bestehenden Kollektion meist noch bis 1 Sek vor der Show beschäftigt. Designer buchen nur professionelle Models von Agenturen und keine Menschen von der Straße (Und selbst, wenn sie von der Straße sind, werden diese nur unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen und vorheriger Kompatibilität [Gespräch, Probelauf, etc.] engagiert). Es gibt Modelagenturen, die auch Plus-Size Models und auch Menschen z.B. mit Behinderungen, etc. vertreten. Menschen, die unfreiwillig und unsicher modeln, werden nicht eingesetzt. Eine Show ist sehr, sehr teuer und sehr wichtig. Es geht um Werbung und das Image des Designers. Niemand würde da jemanden einstellen, der unprofessionell ist und Schaden anrichten und unliebsame Aufmerksamkeit auf das Label ziehen könnte. Ich könnte hier noch etliche weitere Punkte aufzählen, aber im Grunde läuft es einfach nur darauf hinaus, dass die Autorin 0 Ahnung hat von der Branche und ihre Arbeit (Recherche) nicht gemacht hat. Dabei gibt es sooo viele Dokus, die man sich anschauen kann und die einem einen kleinen Einblick in die Fashion Branche bieten.
3. Zum Wiederholten Male betreibt diese Autorin Bodyshaming. In jedem Buch, das ich von ihr gelesen habe macht sie schlanke Menschen nieder und beleidigt diese ("Wer will schon ein Skelett? Nur Hunde spielen mit Knochen. Sie ist viel zu dürr- ich mag mein Mädchen lieber mit etwas Fleisch auf den Rippen. Und so weiter). Solche Aussagen ziehen sich immer wieder durch das Buch. Darüber reg ich mich echt auf. Und dann so scheinheilig tun und schreiben: "Alle Frauen sind schön: Lehrerin, Büroangestellte, usw" (Kein Wortlaut). Was hat der Berufsstand einer Frau mit dessen Körperform zu tun? Diese Autorin kann gerne ihren männlichen Protagonisten eine Körperform bevorzugen lassen, aber man muss dafür nicht andere niedermachen. Offensichtlich mag Audrey Carlan etwas fülligere Frauen, was ja völlig ok ist. Aber man sollte dann doch in der Lage sein, Frauen, die ihrem ideal eben nicht entsprechen nicht zu beleidigen. Eine Autorin sollte ihren "Einfluss" nutzen und Leser zeigen, dass man allen Körperformen tolerant gegenüber sein sollte und Beleidigungen in allen Richtungen ein No-Go sind. Frauen sollten sich gegenseitig akzeptieren, respektieren, unterstützen und aufbauen und nicht feindlich gegenüber stehen so a la Dick vs. Dünn. Einfach idiotisch. Übrigens kann ich es nicht oft genug erwähnen: Kurven sind jene Rundungen, die Frauen weiblich erscheinen lassen (Brüste, Po Kurve von Taillie zur Hüfte). Und solche Kurven hat jede Frau- mal mehr mal weniger. Speckröllchen, die schlanke Menschen ebenfalls haben können, zählen übrigens nicht dazu. Auf jeden Fall ist das ein Punkt, der mich tierisch stört an Audrey Carlan´s Schreibstil.
4. Später im Buch kam dann die Aussage "Seine sexuellen Vorlieben sind anormal". Das war, bevor man mehr über Johan erfahren hat. Dementsprechend bezieht sich das jetzt nur, auf die Aussagen, die vorher getätigt wurden und in Bezug auf die Fotos von Skyler stehen. Also persönlich finde ich nichts anormales an den Aktivitäten, die die beiden da getätigt haben. Und generell Leute für ihre sexuellen Neigungen zu verurteilen, die legal und in beiderseitigen Einverständnis ausgeübt werden, finde ich auch total bescheuert. Wenn Audrey Carlan auf "Blümchensex" steht und nicht experimentierfreudig ist, ist das ihr Ding, aber man sollte so offen sein und anderen Menschen, die eben andere Vorlieben haben und neugieriger sind nicht als anormal abzustempeln. Man sollte jeden so leben und lieben lassen, wie es die Personen wünschen. Wie gesagt- über Johans Vorlieben erfuhr man ja erst später mehr selbst da ist, glaube ich, bis auf eines, alles legal.
5. Das Buch war wieder gefüllt mit Wiederholung über Wiederholung. Ganz ehrlich, schön für Parker, wenn er Skyler toll, sexy, hübsch, talentiert und was weiß ich noch findet. Es reicht mir, wenn ich es 1x lese. Aber ständig den gleichen Mist, nur um das Buch künstlich in die Länge zu ziehen. Sorry, aber das nervt. Dazu kommen noch die ständigen Aussagen und Wiederholungen über seine Ex. Sie hat ihn mit seinem besten Freund betrogen und ihn verletzt und er hat dadurch Vertrauensprobleme usw. Ich hab´s verstanden- schon beim 1. Mal. Ich muss es nicht noch 50x lesen. Die Sexszenen sind auch alle irgendwie recht ähnlich. Die Protagonisten sind, wenn sie nicht gerade mit einem Kunden arbeiten oder "vögeln" in einer Bar. Ernsthaft- Treffen sich alle zusammen in einer Bar um sich kennenzulernen, sind nach Feierabend in einer Bar, sind am Flughafen in einer Bar, sind im Hotel in einer Bar, sind mit dem Kunden in einer Bar, etc. Wirklich sehr originell (Augen roll).
6. Alles war vorhersehbar. Das Drama- alles so typisch und schon tausend Mal gelesen.
7. Skyler verhält sich nicht wie eine Frau Mitte 20. Sie wirkt immer wie ein pubertierender Teenager. Total kindisch, naiv und dumm. Parker ist auch nicht gerade der männlichste und intelligenteste Typ und verhält sich auch nicht seinem Alter entsprechend. Generell schafft es die Autorin nicht die männlichen Protagonisten auch männlich wirken zu lassen. Kein Mann spricht oder denkt so.
8. Die Protagonisten reisen in 3 Städte. Aber von den Städten bekommt man überhaupt nichts mit. Im Grunde genommen hätte alles auch an einem Ort stattfinden können. Man bekommt nur das innere von Gebäuden und das Dekor beschrieben. Die Städte- keinerlei bzw. minimal Infos gibt es dazu. (So gut wie...) Keine Beschreibung von Landschaften, der Architektur, der Kultur...
9. In San Francisco hat diese eine Irre eine Vase auf ein Glastisch geworfen und dieser Glastisch ist dann zerbrochen. Lol. Audrey Carlan hat zu viele Actionfilme geguckt. Als würde ne Vase in der Lage sein einen Glastisch in tausend Teile zerspringen zu lassen. Ein Glastisch ist dazu gemacht einiges auszuhalten- unter anderem auch Gewicht. Also diese Szene war total absurd.
10. Die Erpressung von Skyler- Auch hier hätte Audrey Carlan nochmal recherchieren sollen. Recht am eigenen Bild? Schon mal davon gehört? Johan hätte diese Bilder nicht einfach für ein Buch nutzen können. Er hätte sie gegen ihren Willen veröffentlichen können, aber er hätte sich strafbar gemacht, zumal diese Fotos ja auch gegen ihren Willen entstanden sind. Die Erpressung usw. war einfach totaler Quark und unnötiges bla bla um Drama zu erzeugen. Und dann soll Johan ein Treffen in Begleitung seines Anwalts mit Skyler geplant haben? Obwohl er pleite ist? Wie kann er sich denn bitte seinen Anwalt leisten ohne Geld? Der will schließlich auch bezahlt werden. Total unlogisch.
11. Der letzte Abschnitt war auch nur Blah...Musste total an die Metoo-Bewegung denken. Nur, dass hier Parker von dieser Schreckschraube sexuell belästigt wurde und nicht eine Frau von einem Mann. Keine Ahnung, ob das Absicht war und die Frau so rüberkommen sollte. Auf jeden Fall wirkte es auf mich etwas abstoßend.
12. Oftmals kam ich mir vor, als würde das Buch für Leute mit geringen IQ geschrieben worden sein. Jeder Mist wird erklärt. So als hätte man ein Kind vor sich, das die Welt noch nicht versteht. Geht mir richtig auf den Keks.
Es gab noch mehr Dinge, denke ich, aber irgendwann ist auch mal Schluss. Keine Lust mir jetzt noch weiter den Abend vermiesen zu lassen, indem ich weiter darüber nachdenke. Wie gesagt- jeder muss seine eigene Meinung über das Buch und generell die Serie bilden.

"Lust" ist der zweite Teil der "Dream Maker"-Reihe, der mich zugegebenermaßen nach den Geschehnissen im ersten Band arg gereizt hat. Mir gefällt das Reihenkonzept und dieses Mal nimmt die Beratungs- und Umsetzungsagentur 'International Guy' den Leser mit nach Mailand, San Francisco und Montreal. Demnach wird auch im diesem Fortsetzungsband einiges an Abwechslung geboten – nicht nur bezüglich der unterschiedlichen Firmen-Problematiken, sondern auch in Parkers Privatleben.
Alle drei Fälle (die Modenschau in Mailand, die Partnersuche in San Francisco oder die Entlarvung eines Maulwurfs in Montreal) sind unterschiedlich ausgearbeitet und auf ihre eigene Art und Weise spannend. San Francisco war für mich persönlich dieses Mal der langweiligste Fall und konnte mich nicht so mitreißen, dafür hat mich der Maulwurf in Montreal besonders interessiert. Mir gefällt es, welche Gedanken sich die Autorin bezüglich der unterschiedlichen Fälle macht und so neben Parkers Privatleben für Abwechslung und Unterhaltung sorgt. Ich persönlich finde es daher auch ein bisschen schade, dass Parkers Arbeit aufgrund seiner privaten Situation öfters in den Hintergrund gerät, denn die Agentur interessiert mich sehr. Man merkt zwar, dass Parker und seinen Kollegen immer alles schnell gelingt und sie mühelos für jedes Problem eine Lösung finden (obwohl man sicher für den ein oder anderen Fall Monate brauchen würde), aber dennoch schafft Audrey Carlan realistische Szenarien, die einen hohen Unterhaltungswert ausmachen.
Deshalb hat es mich bei "Lust" auch so gestört, dass dem Konflikt, den Parker und Skyler austragen, so viel Raum gegeben wurde. Ich konnte Parkers Verhalten zwar nachvollziehen, aber ich hatte auch Verständnis für Skyler. Mich haben die Dramatik und Parkers Sturheit zunehmend genervt. Gerade bei seiner Arbeit geht er oft logisch und unvoreingenommen an Probleme heran, so dass ich nicht nachvollziehen konnte, warum er sich so anders im Privatleben verhält. Ansonsten empfand ich Parker um einiges stärker und sympathischer gezeichnet als im Vorgängerband und auch Skyler hat mit ihrem Auftreten wieder Eindruck bei mir hinterlassen. Sie ist eine unglaubliche Frau, die ich gerne noch mehr kennenlernen möchte.
Neben den spannenden Fällen und den tollen Charakteren mochte ich es auch bei "Lust" wieder, wie sehr die drei Männer (und nun auch Wendy) zueinander halten und sich gegenseitig stärken – nicht nur auf geschäftlicher Basis, sondern auch auf privater. Die Freundschaft zwischen ihnen ist toll beschrieben, auch wenn ich stellenweise den Eindruck hatte, dass Männer im wahren Leben so nicht reagiert hätten – man merkt dann eben doch hier und da an Kleinigkeiten, dass die Männerfreundschaft von einer Frau geschrieben wurde, was für mich aber keinesfalls störend oder unrealistisch war. Ich freue mich darauf, die vier im nächsten Buch "wiederzusehen" und mehr über sie selbst und die Agentur zu erfahren.
Fazit
"Dream Maker – Lust" ist meiner Meinung nach eine gute Fortsetzung der Reihe, obwohl das Buch ähnliche Schwäche aufweist wie der erste Band. Auch hier konnte ich Parkers Verhalten nicht immer nachvollziehen. Trotzdem waren die drei Fälle toll und abwechslungsreich und der Aspekt der (Männer-)Freundschaft weiterhin präsent und einnehmend, so dass ich mich auf den dritten Band freue.

I LOVE
Parker has been an obsession since I read the first book. I haven’t been able to put his books down and these three, oh my, they’ve had me hooked. I ate them up within a day and left me needing more.
Milan bring us a fashion show with curvy, plus sized models and a stylist that has no idea what a woman feels, he calls in the big guns and in comes Parker and Bo. They need help seeing just how beautiful each of them are and these guys are perfect for the job.
San Francisco brings us a business woman who’s lonely and in need of a mate to spend the lovely nights with and what better people to sort her out than the IG team but things don’t go as well as they hope as Royce takes a fancy for someone who could never be who he needs. This book throws in some plot twists and honestly, leaves your heart breaking.
Montreal gives us a sister/brother duo in need of finding out who’s leaking the company’s ideas. Leaking them to competitors weeks before they’re due to release. Which brings in the whole team including lovely Wendy. What the team uncover isn’t what they expect and the events that go down are ones I didn’t expect. It’s intense and hurts your heart and leaves you needing the next books ASAP.
These three books have captured my attention and little else has entered my head. The situation between Parker and Skyler is just breaking my heart and I need to know what’s going to happen for them next.
This author truly knows how to keep one hooked.

Dieses Buch ist der 2. Teil der Serie. Das Buch in 3 Teile aufgeteilt, welche als Ebook auch einzeln erhältlich sind. Es empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall aber vorher den ersten Band der Reihe zu lesen, da dieses Buch hier genau an den vorigen Teil anschließt. Die Story wird zum größten Teil aus Parkers Sicht erzählt und die letzten Kapitel der jeweiligen Städte dann aus Sicht von Skyler. Durch den angenehmen und leichten Schreibstil kann der Leser sich bequem zurück lehnen und einfach nur genießen. Ich mag diese Parker-Skyler Liebesgeschichte sehr, denn sie ist liebenswert, frustrierend und erotisch zugleich. Da es zwischen ihnen aber immer hin und her geht, hofft man die ganze Zeit auf ein dickes HappyEnd. Auch wenn sie sich nun endlich auch ihrer Zuneigung stellen, passiert wieder etwas, dass alles verändern kann. Was mir in diesem Band ein wenig fehlte, waren die typischen Beschreibungen der Stadt, die in den anderen Büchern weit mehr Platz bekamen. Schön finde ich auch, dass man in diesem Buch als Models ganz normale Frauen genommen hat, die die Jungs allerdings auch vor so manche Herrausforderung stellen. Auch bei Royce funkt es diesmal und das nicht nur im Herzen, sondern er gerät fast in Streit mit Parker.
Am besten am Buch gefiel mir aber der Zusammenhalt und die Zusammenarbeit der Jungs untereinander. Was sie erleben und wie sie damit umgehen, gestaltet die Autorin auf wirklich charmante Weise. Auch die anderen Charaktere im Buch sind mir sympathisch und man freut sich mehr über sie in Erfahrung zu bringen und freut sich daher schon auf den nächsten Teil der Serie.
Einziges Manko, der Cliffhanger! Also her mit dem nächsten Band.

Auch bei Royce funkt es diesmal und das nicht nur im Herzen, sondern er gerät fast in Streit mit Parker.
Am besten am Buch gefiel mir aber der Zusammenhalt und die Zusammenarbeit der Jungs untereinander. Was sie erleben und wie sie damit umgehen, gestaltet die Autorin auf wirklich charmante Weise. Auch die anderen Charaktere im Buch sind mir sympathisch und man freut sich mehr über sie in Erfahrung zu bringen und freut sich daher schon auf den nächsten Teil der Serie.
Einziges Manko, der Cliffhanger! Also her mit dem nächsten Band.
Ich gebe dem Buch 5/5 Sterne.

Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist Leicht und locker. Man war direkt drin in der Geschichte. Aber ich hab einiges an Gefühl vermisst auch fand ich es nicht wirklich spannend. Obwohl Thrill Elemente vorhanden waren. Da passierte einfach zu viel. Und Sex war ein großes Thema ich weiß schon, das es sich um ein Buch handelt das im Erotik Sektor angesiedelt ist. Aber jeder hat sich an jedem gerieben. Die Frauen waren rollige Katzen bzw. Benahmen sich so. Jeder ist nach Möglichkeit jeden angesprungen. Und jeder war immer sofort Mega scharf auf den anderen. Pues como os he comentado hoy os traigo mi opinión sobre la segunda entrega de la serie “Todo es posible” que por cierto, ya sé de cuántas novelas consta. En total son cuatro, la tercera ha salido a la venta este mes de septiembre y la cuarta y última entrega verá la luz el mes de octubre. Y dicho esto si os parece bien voy a daros a conocer mi opinión sobre esta novela. Os hablaré de los personajes principales, secundarios, pluma de la autora, mis impresiones y lo que creo que podéis encontrar en esta historia.
Nuestro protagonista sigue siendo Parker: Continúa trabajando en su empresa IG junto a sus dos socios y su dicharachera secretaria. El negocio va viento en popa y cada vez reciben más demandas de sus servicios. A su vez sigue adelante en su relación con Melocotones… van estrechando lazos, los sentimientos crecen y el estar separados cada vez les resulta más difícil de llevar tanto a Parker como a ella. Irá descubriendo nuevas facetas de su chica que le fascinarán, incluso se planteará ponerle nombre a lo que sienten el uno por el otro, pero el trabajo es importante también y en esta ocasión, en Milán, se deberá enfrentar a un diseñador estrafalario que quiere que mujeres de a pie que no son modelos profesionales desfilen en una pasarela en lencería y Parker y su don para hacerles sentirse únicas, será el encargado de lidiar con una docena de mujeres inseguras y acomplejadas para convencerlas de que deben sentirse poderosas y seguras de sí mismas. En Montreal se encontrará con una empresaria muy importante y adicta al trabajo que solicita los servicios de IG para que le busquen al hombre ideal para formar una familia, bajo sus condiciones por supuesto. Mientras Parker se encarga de encontrar el marido perfecto para su clienta, su chica se verá envuelta en una situación delicada y al final por algo que sucede con alguien del pasado de ella, Parker acabará con el corazón roto y con un sentimiento de traición que lo devora vivo. En San Francisco deberá ayudar a otra empresaria a descubrir quién le está robando las ideas y vendiéndoselas a la competencia y, además de eso, intentará mantenerse alejado de ella, de la clienta, ya que se siente desvalido, atormentado y traicionado, y la tentación es mucha… y más cuando se te insinúan de una manera tan descarada.
En esta ocasión, aparte de lo que os comenté en la reseña de la anterior novela sobre él, he descubierto una faceta que me ha enternecido y fascinado a partes iguales. Me refiero a su parte más vulnerable, al dolor emocional que alberga su corazón y a cómo se enfrenta a situaciones límite que no sabe cómo gestionar. Todo lo que os acabo de hacer saber más lo que ya opinaba de él ha conseguido que empatice y conecte más si cabe con Parker.
Quiero puntualizar que Melocotones es el apodo cariñoso que Parker le pone a su chica por el hecho de que según él ella huele a dicha fruta y a nata cuando la tiene cerca. No la llamo por su nombre para, por supuesto, no hacer spoiler y además para mantener el misterio de quién es ella y así no quitarle la gracia en mi opinión ya que si os apetece saber quién es tendréis más motivos para que os llame la atención la novela y la leáis.
Respecto a los personajes secundarios en esta novela interactúan muchísimo más y son más notables. Bogart destacará en Milán debido a sus habilidades como estilista, Royce lo hará en Montreal aunque casi le costará su amistad con Parker y, en San Francisco, será el equipo completo incluida Wendy, quien poco a poco se convierte en alguien imprescindible en el desarrollo de la historia y de la vida de todos. También Johan, ex de Melocotones y Michael prometido de Wendy tendrán un lugar relevante en la subtrama que rodea a nuestros protagonistas y a las decisiones que toman o no toman Parker y su chica.
La pluma de la autora al igual que en la primera entrega, sigue siendo cuidada, fluida y fresca. Los diálogos siguen siendo abundantes y ligeros, la narración está muy bien desarrollada y, en esta ocasión, hay algunos giros en el argumento muy destacables que llaman la atención y también te ponen el corazón en un puño.
El planteamiento, el nudo y el desenlace de la historia están muy bien estructurados. El final te deja con un regusto amargo porque te quedas con las ganas de saber qué va a pasar ya que uno de los giros que os he comentado anteriormente, ese toque de acción y drama se desarrolla justamente a pocas páginas del final y tiene que ver con un miembro del equipo. Gracias a Dios que tengo la tercera parte, la cual ya he comenzado por cierto, porque si hubiese tenido que esperar mucho tiempo me habría tirado de los pelos, en sentido metafórico claro.
Las escenas de pasión siguen siendo descritas de manera explícita aunque con estilo. Siguen siendo igual de intensas y fogosas volviendo a dejar patente que la autora quiere transmitir erotismo en estado puro.
El libro consta de 528 páginas, divididas en tres localizaciones y cada una de ellas cuenta con 10 capítulos de extensión media, aunque al final de cada etapa nos encontramos con el relato de “Melocotones”, la chica que quita el sueño a Parker, sobre lo que sucede en su día a día, sus preocupaciones y sobre todo su relación con nuestro protagonista. Los capítulos van encabezados con su correspondiente número exceptuando cuando narra Melocotones que pone su verdadero nombre y va sin enumerar. Al ser una serie, las novelas no tienen el final cerrado en lo que respecta a Parker y a su chica, con lo cual te acabas encontrando con un “Fin… de momento”que te pone los pelos como escarpias.
La historia está narrada en primera persona por Parker al igual que en la anterior entrega. Igualmente conocemos la perspectiva en cada etapa de “Melocotones”, la chica de nuestro protagonista que también lo hace en primera persona. Conforme más leo esta serie más ganas tengo de conocer el punto de vista de la protagonista ya que llega un momento en que te sabe a poco.
¿Mis impresiones?
Si la primera novela me gustó esta me ha encantado ya que se ha visto el lado más humano y personal, ya no solo de Parker si no del resto del equipo. He disfrutado de lo mucho que se han implicado en la historia los personajes secundarios, en la manera que tienen de apoyar, proteger y asesorar a Parker ya que no sólo son un equipo, sino una unión familiar, una hermandad que han fraguado desde el cariño y el respeto que se profesan. También me ha encantado como se ha tratado el concepto de la belleza a través de la docena de modelos no profesionales que deben hacer el desfile, mujeres de a pie… ya sean maestras, camareras, amas de casa, etcétera, cómo a pesar de no cumplir con los cánones de belleza estipulados en el mundo de la moda consiguen sentirse poderosas, sexys y seguras de si mismas a pesar de pensar que no son capaces por sus miedos e inquietudes. Pero también he padecido por la falta de confianza de Parker, porque se deje arrastrar a un pozo oscuro por culpa de alguien que formó parte de su pasado y le hizo daño, por volverse desconfiado, por sentirse traicionado y no dar derecho a réplica, por rendirse y no reconocer a su alma gemela, por no creer en un “tú y yo”, en un “nosotros” por no ser consciente de que, a veces, algunas personas tienen más cerca de lo que piensan o imaginan al amor de su vida, a que no hay necesidad de utilizar artimañas ni provocaciones para hacerte notar y respetar en un mundo de hombres… y así podría seguir un buen rato más ya que me dejo muchas cosas en el tintero, pero es algo que me gustaría que descubrierais vosotras mismas leyendo esta novela.
En definitiva, es una historia en la que la compañía y sus componentes siguen haciendo su trabajo pero el factor humano hace acto de presencia con mucha fuerza. Contiene acción, pasión y muchos sentimientos encontrados. Es una lectura que se devora en un par de días por su fluidez y dinamismo. Yo sin duda recomiendo su lectura al 100%.

After the first volume, here comes three more exciting cities! :-D
MILAN
International Guy is bursting with emotion in this installment. Milan, the fashion capital, is hosting a very special show, and the three golden boys are key to its success.
This chapter in the serial deals with paramount issues of self-image and female beauty beyond the perfect measures. Can any woman claim sensual confidence? I think this is happening in a fun, relaxed way thanks to IG’s new assignment.
On a more personal note, Parker and Skyler’s relationship takes a very public hit and grows into unexpected territory. It becomes intense while never losing its primal and very hot edge. I loved the creativity of the fashion show, and how this couple pulled through lies and mirages to fall more deeply for each other. The final scene from Skyler’s POV is great.
SAN FRANCISCO
This city turns out to be a tempest of drama and strong emotion. It may not be as glamorous as the other destinations in this serial, but it sure contains a treasure trove of feelings going rampant.
The job for IG is set in the high finances world with a fierce female boss going for her future goal, head first. The assignment was all sorts of fun and included a seed of bad deeds. More interestingly, it prompted a long-term desire in one of the guys, Royce, that put a strain in his emotional link with Parker. Not only that, Parker’s feelings are also flaring up and leading to very deep places regarding Skyler. I enjoyed every piece o f it, especially because the plot is full-packed with threats that involve Wendy’s hacking skills and fantastic attitude, Parker’s commitment, and a cliffhanger that was boiling with misunderstandings, plot twists and heartbreak. Wow!
MONTREAL
Powerfully emotional. The devastation Parker felt over recent events is gripping, yet I didn’t enjoy this installment as much as I hoped I would. It drags on with a lot of whining and repeated conversations. And Parker is so weak, he acts on his pain giving in with some illicit behavior I disliked.
While the job in Canada was interesting, it bore some resemblance to the previous one in San Francisco. However, the story takes a dramatic turn towards the ending that was phenomenal, unexpected, serious and leaves everyone in tatters. I loved Wendy as usual, and the cat was a cool touch. Next episode in London is going to be a real tempation.

A love-happy satisfying continuation to the first books/serials!
Note: this book should be read after reading Vol. 1 as the story is told continuously through each book.
Here we get to see Parker and Skylar’s relationship grow. We see Parker’s flaws, strength, devotion, and thoughts - especially as the book is told majority in his POV. Sebastian York narrates Parker and does an excellent job (as always!). York did not fail to deliver another stellar performance to include distinct voices for the secondary characters and a tone that matches the scene/expressions intended.
Skylar’s POV makes a few pop-up appearances. In those times, I enjoyed learning more about her character through a subjective stance, rather than objectively. It made me better identify with her character more, knowing her intentions and fears.
Narrator Ava Erickson does a great job in giving Skylar a voice; making her come alive.
The plot still follows Parker & International guy Inc as they take on new clients in each city/serial. However I felt a lot of the storyline focused on Parker and Sky’s relationship evolving in the midst of all of it, particularly trying to keep each’s green monster at bay. I liked that I got to see more dimensions of other characters like Wendy, Bo, and Royce. I liked that the theme of the first serial- Milan - carried a very empowering message that gripped my heart and was so relatable. And I especially liked the adventurous and action-packed turn of events which led to hanging onto every spoken word of Book 6, anxiously wanting to know what happens. Looking forward to Vol. 3!

Salve lettrici.
Oggi vi parlo del secondo capitolo della serie International Guy, con “International Guy: Milano, San Francisco, Montreal”.
Il romanzo prosegue con le vicende di Parker e Sky e, come il primo libro, si divide in episodi che prendono il nome delle città in cui vengono descritte le vicende.
Ritroveremo dunque Parker, Bo e Roy, alle prese con i loro lavori e le loro ragazze in cerca di aiuto.
A Milano dovranno aiutare uno stilista, a San Francisco si occuperanno di problemi di cuore e a Montreal ne vedremo delle belle...
Tutto questo, ovviamente, sarà solo di contorno per la bella storia che sta nascendo tra Parker e Sky.
Tra i due le cose si stanno facendo più che serie e, proprio quando sono pronti a scambiarsi la parolina magica, un imprevisto metterà a rischio i loro sentimenti.
Dunque lettrici, trovo senz’altro affascinante il modo di scrivere della Carlan e trovo davvero originali i suoi scritti, ma ancora non riesco ad entrare nel vivo di questa serie.
È una bella lettura, questo sicuro, ben scritta e ben dettagliata, si legge anche in poco tempo, ma, per ora, non è riuscita a conquistarmi completamente.
La storia mi sembra sempre incompleta e spero di riuscire a trovare quello che cerco nell’ultimo volume, così da poter dare anche un giudizio completo ma, per adesso, il mio giudizio non è cambiato molto dal romanzo precedente.

Tra i due le cose si stanno facendo più che serie e, proprio quando sono pronti a scambiarsi la parolina magica, un imprevisto metterà a rischio i loro sentimenti.
Dunque lettrici, trovo senz’altro affascinante il modo di scrivere della Carlan e trovo davvero originali i suoi scritti, ma ancora non riesco ad entrare nel vivo di questa serie.
È una bella lettura, questo sicuro, ben scritta e ben dettagliata, si legge anche in poco tempo, ma, per ora, non è riuscita a conquistarmi completamente.
La storia mi sembra sempre incompleta e spero di riuscire a trovare quello che cerco nell’ultimo volume, così da poter dare anche un giudizio completo ma, per adesso, il mio giudizio non è cambiato molto dal romanzo precedente.

Milan - I don’t believe I could love Milan any more than I already do! It was wicked HOT as can always be expected from Audrey Carlan, moving, inspiring, touching, and completely epic!
San Francisco - IG San Francisco is a shocking and amazing installment that had me wincing and chuckling, grinning and face-palming, squealing in delight and wanting to throw my kindle into the wall (for two separate reasons). Audrey never fails to take me on that damn emotional rollercoaster! Let me make one thing clear. Royce. Is. Mine. A certain trick needs to step off. Well, that last part is no longer a worry, but holy hell, I was so mad I threw my Kindle.
Montreal - The disbelief was incredible. I don’t know if I’ve cussed more at Audrey in this book than any other, I swear. The ongoing chant in my head was, “you better fix this $#!+ Audrey!” There’s so much I want to say, but it would spoil it, but let me just say that I didn’t blame Parker one bit for his instinctive reaction. Then again, I can’t really blame Skyler as I probably would have done the same thing. And as for Alexis? She’s a trick. That’s all I’ll say about her. Then the last two and a half chapters had me in tears that would not stop. Audrey, I adore your work, but you need to stop with the &@#% book hangovers even though I love it!

International Guy: Volume 2 stole my heart from moment one. With the first volume I fell in love with Parker, Bo and Royce and of course, Sophie and Skyler, and even though for a minute there I wasn't feeling Sky and Parker's relationship, they definitely made it hard for me to continue to feel that way.
Their relationship is so adorable, these two are completely in love with each other and the chemistry and passion between then pours out of the pages even when they are going through a rough patch. I must say I got a bit frustrated with how Parker handles his problems, but ugh, I couldn't stay too mad at him because I could feel his love for Sky.
And let's not forget the amazing characters that complete the story. Wendy and Michael are so cute and hot, the opposite of one another but you can't help but love them together as we get tiny glimpses of them through the stories. I loved Royce and Bo's additions to the story, how supportive and fun they are. And of course, I loved the stories behind each place the International Guy crew visits, the stories are interesting and some even keep you on the edge of your seat.

Once again, I loved everything about these stories! Milan, San Francisco and Montreal all brought something unique and different to the table and I enjoyed every single moment!
I really feel that the Milan story gives so much more! It’s the story of learning how to accept yourself and truly love yourself for who you are, no matter what your size ;)
San Francisco finally gives us Royce and a look into the relationship between Parker and Royce. While expecting to be doing some matchmaking, this case turns into something they didn’t expect all the while Parker is dealing with issues that left me in tears at the end.
Montreal was my favorite of the three! There are so many emotions because of what happens a the end of San Francisco but I have a feeling there is so much more to come in London!
Once again, Audrey Carlan truly held me captive during these three stories! Filled with fun, sexiness and so many emotions, I truly enjoyed every city and each journey I went along on!

Nachdem mir der erste Teil schon viel Freude beim Lesen bereitete, war ich mega neugierig, wie es mit den „International Guys“ weitergeht!
Das florale Muster des Covers gefällt mir wieder sehr gut
und auch die Farbgebung ist erneut sehr schön geworden.
Der Klappentext verrät nur grob oberflächlich, wie es weitergeht.
Audrey Carlan zieht ihre Leser erneut mit einem flüssigen und mitreißenden Schreibstil in den Bann und erweckt das Geschehen somit zum Leben.
Auch hier tauchen wir in Parkers Perspektive ein,
und bekommen zusätzlich zum Ende eines jeden Auftrags einen Einblick in Skylers Erlebnisse, Gefühle und Gedanken.
Mit dem ersten Satz, war ich direkt wieder mittendrin im Geschehen, das ziemlich nahtlos an seinen Vorgänger anknüpft.
Freundschaft, Liebe und natürlich die Erfüllung der Aufträge werden wieder vordergründig behandelt, und machen es leicht, sich von der Geschichte einlullen zu lassen.
In „Mailand“ trifft man sowohl auf einen exzentrischen Modeschöpfer,
als auch auf mehrere Frauen, denen Parker und Bo helfen, ein stärkeres Selbstbewusstsein zu bekommen.
Zeitgleich fühlt man sich mit der verstärkten romantischen Beziehung
von Parker und Skyler, wie auf Wolke 7. <3
„San Francisco“ wird gleich in mehrfacher Hinsicht zur Herausforderung.
Eine Kundin, die nicht sieht, was direkt vor ihr ist,
eine Freundschaft, die auf der Kippe steht
und die Liebe von Parker und Sky sieht sich ebenfalls mit schrecklichen Ereignissen konfrontiert.

„Montreal“ wurde für mich zu Schwachstelle in diesem Buch,
das ich bisher verschlungen hatte!
Es war wie ein Stimmungswandel von glücklich zu frustriert.
Eine aufdringliche Kundin,
ein Auftrag der beinah in die Hose ging
und die schmerzhafte Krise in Parkers und Skylers Beziehung.
Vielleiht lag es auch einfach an dieser herzzerreißenden Stimmung,
die glücklicherweise durch harmonische Freundschaftsszenen
aufgebessert wurde – Team IG rules! ;)
Protagonist Parker offenbart hier seine verletzliche Seite.
Royce wird zum sensiblen Mann
und Bo bleibt einfach der witzige Charmeur.
Assistentin Wendy wird für mich zu einem ehrenwerten Mitglied der Truppe
und sorgt für einen durchtriebenen Mix weiblicher Hormone,
der zudem für lustige Stimmung sorgt.
Mit „Dream Maker – Lust“ legte Audrey Carlan beinah noch eine Schippe oben drauf!
Ein wundervolles Lesevergnügen zwischen Freundschaft, Liebe, Lust und Leidenschaft – sowie eine gehörige Portion an Spannung,

Picking up after Copenhagen and some more developments into the relationship between Parker & Skyler, we next see Parker and Bo on their latest project in Milan. A lingerie fashion show featuring everyday women as models. A job that takes some insightful and sensitive work from the International Guy team and is a huge success.
Sexy, intense, and a very well-written and enjoyable read. Told almost entirely from Parker's POV, this book keeps you interested in the International Guy organization and desperate to know just what on earth is going on in Parker's head. Up next is International Guy: San Francisco. Enjoy!

Auch wend der erste Band " Dream Maker Sehnsucht" bestehend aus Paris, New York und Kopenhagen nicht so gut gefallen hat, wollte ich dem zweiten Band eine Chance geben.
Hier macht man als Leser halt in Mailand, San Francisco und Montreal.
Das Cover ist im gleichen Stil designt, somit hat es absoluten Wiedererkennungswert und man kann das Buch sofort der Reihe zuordnen.
Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist ok und liest sich recht flüssig.
Auch in diesem Teil dreht es sich hauptsächlich im Parker Ellis und seine 2 Partner Bo und Royce. Sie betreiben die Agentur " International Guy" und helfen Frauen in Sachen Liebe, Leben und Karriere auf die Sprünge.
In diesem Teil dreht es sich in Mailand rund um Modenschau, in San Francisco um eine Partnersuche mit gewissen Vorzügen und um einen Maulwurf in einer Firma in Montreal. Die letzte Story war für mich die noch interessanteste.
Leider rückte mir in diesem Teil die Arbeit mehr in den Hintergrund. Obwohl es Firmrmproblematik gibt bekommt Parkers Privatleben mehr Zuwendung.
Für mich hat die Problematik zwischen Parker und Skyler zu viel Raum genommen, ich war irgendwann echt genervt davon.
Ausserdem konnte ich nicht verstehen, wie organisiert und logisch Parker beruflich ist und wie chaotisch und stur er im Privaten handelt. Es ist mir schon fast zu viel Sturheit und Dramaqueen.
Leider weißt dieser 2. Teil wirklich viele ähnliche Schwächen wie Teil 1 auf.
Dieses Buch ist eine für mich nicht nachdenken Lektüre ohne große Ansprüche und Tiefgang. Die Bettszenen sind mir schon fast zu ausführlich beschrieben und der Leser benötigt Null Fanatasie, da alles kleinlich beschrieben wird.
Ich muss gestehen, dass dieses Buch wieder ein kleiner Kampf für mich persönlich war.
Sicher kann es den ein oder anderen Geschmack treffen und es gibt bestimmt Leser die diese Art von Story lieben.
Ich gebe 2 von 5 Sterne.

Leider rückte mir in diesem Teil die Arbeit mehr in den Hintergrund. Obwohl es Firmrmproblematik gibt bekommt Parkers Privatleben mehr Zuwendung.
Für mich hat die Problematik zwischen Parker und Skyler zu viel Raum genommen, ich war irgendwann echt genervt davon.
Ausserdem konnte ich nicht verstehen, wie organisiert und logisch Parker beruflich ist und wie chaotisch und stur er im Privaten handelt. Es ist mir schon fast zu viel Sturheit und Dramaqueen.
Leider weißt dieser 2. Teil wirklich viele ähnliche Schwächen wie Teil 1 auf.
Dieses Buch ist eine für mich nicht nachdenken Lektüre ohne große Ansprüche und Tiefgang. Die Bettszenen sind mir schon fast zu ausführlich beschrieben und der Leser benötigt Null Fanatasie, da alles kleinlich beschrieben wird.
Ich muss gestehen, dass dieses Buch wieder ein kleiner Kampf für mich persönlich war.
Sicher kann es den ein oder anderen Geschmack treffen und es gibt bestimmt Leser die diese Art von Story lieben.
Ich gebe 2 von 5 Sterne.

When you are reading this series 5 Stars is just not enough! This has become one of my all time favorite series. I love the characters, writing style, the emotions that come from the reading and of course the guys! I patiently (drumming fingers, pacing, constantly refreshing the screen) awaited Volume 2’s release...as expected...I was NOT disappointed!
“Firsts should always be sealed with a kiss.”
This book continues with the brotherhood, loyalty, empowering women through Milan (which I loved), humor, self discovery and some steaminess.
“Home isn’t always a place. It’s a feeling.”
Headed to San Francisco Next...I actually just vacationed there a few months ago so I’m hoping I can visual the story from a different perspective.

Ahhhh this series keeps getting better. The more you get to know the IG’s the more they seem like close friends and family. You feel you are a part of their story. You hurt when they hurt, laugh with their humor and want to revenge the hurt bestowed upon one of them or someone they care for.
“...this is family. When one of us gets hurt, all of us get hurt.”
This book is filled with twist and turns. Just when you think you have a handle on everything the story takes you on a different journey. You will be cheering, hurting, laughing, angry, hopeful, praying for revenge and even healing.
“Nothing in life is smooth sailing. Sometimes we have to make our own waves in order to move forward.”
I’m looking forward to MONTREAL: INTERNATIONAL GUY BOOK 6. I’m hoping it includes some of the storyline that was in San Francisco and brings some insight to certain characters (sorry no spoilers from me)!

This series gets better with each book. I’m not sure if it’s solely the storyline or you feel you know the characters more from the previously developed stories...you want them to be your real life friends and chosen family.
“Your mouth is coming up with all kinds of excuses, but your body is responding to me.”
This book had me an emotional mess. Of course there is humor intertwined in the devastation, betrayal, suspense and mystery that Montreal brings to us.
“And like all dreams can do, mine so easily turned into a nightmare.”
I’m looking forward to the next adventure in London: International Guy Book 7!

Eccoci giunti al secondo volume della serie International Guy di Audrey Carlan sempre grazie alla Mondadori.
Pronte a scoprire le nuove tappe delle “missioni” di Parker Ellis, il Dream Maker?
Avevamo lasciato la bella Sky in fuga da Copenaghen dopo aver origliato una conversazione tra Parker e Sophie nel quale l’uomo la definiva solo una s******.
In questo secondo volume troveremo tantissimi sentimenti, rivelazioni, segreti, avremo modo non solo di conoscere le storie dei vari clienti in giro per il mondo ma anche le emozioni ed il passato degli altri membri della IG inclusa la nuova assunta, la campanellino dai capelli rosso fuoco.
Non mancheranno momenti romantici, sensuali, tragedie e momenti drammatici, qualcuno si beccherà anche qualche pallottola e ovviamente la squadra si ritroverà al suo capezzale come una grande famiglia.
Eh sì ho detto famiglia perché l’aria che si respira in queste pagine è molto familiare, dove ci si protegge, ci si consiglia e ci si scontra ma, alla fine, si fa sempre la pace perché l’amore che unisce questi fratelli di madri diverse è qualcosa di raro e sorprendente.
Io li adoro!! Anzi no amo la IG.
Ma andiamo a conoscere i prossimi tre clienti dell’agenzia e scopriamo che cosa potrebbe fare la squadra per loro.

Missione da compiere: Togliere dall’imbarazzo le donne, permettere loro di acquisire la stima in sé stesse e la consapevolezza della loro bellezza, dimostrandole che tutte possono essere sexy.

Qualcosa legato alla fotografia, magari. Pensa che potrebbe funzionare?»

Anche in questo secondo volume il messaggio trasmesso dalla Carlan è un qualcosa di coinvolgente “LE DONNE”, le donne sono il cardine di ogni storia, le donne sexy, affascinanti, professionali, le donne magre, formose, le donne dominatrici, le donne intraprendenti, le mamme, le insegnanti, le ballerine e le intrattenitrici.
Sono loro il punto di inizio e di fine di ogni tappa per i nostri IG-men. In questo capitolo seguiremo inoltre, l’evolversi della storia d’amore tra Parker e Skyler, la profondità del loro affetto reciproco, avremo a che fare con la loro gelosia, il crescere ed imparare a portare avanti una vera relazione e ovviamente la chimica di quando i loro corpi entrano a contatto l’uno con l’altro.
Conosceremo meglio Royce, rimasto un po’ nell’ombra nel primo volume e verrà messa maggiore luce sul lato oscuro della relazione tra Wendy e Michael.
Insomma di carne al fuoco ce ne sarà parecchia e siamo solo a metà del percorso.
