A member of the Insurgents MC, Wheelie is a chick magnate.
Having a ripped body, mesmerizing tats, and a boyish grin, he can have any woman he wants. Except for one: Sofia. Ever since he laid eyes on her, he was taken in by her sparkling eyes, her sweet laugh, and her pretty face.
There’s just one very big problem: she belongs to another Insurgent. He knows that means she’s off-limits, but he can’t get her out of his mind. The memory of their kiss consumes him. He now knows how soft and perfect she is.
Pursuing her will get him kicked out of the brotherhood, and the club is his life. He can’t betray another brother even if he’s a cruel, arrogant jerk. He has to be strong, but the more time he spends with Sofia the more tempting it is to cross the line.
Sofia can’t get the handsome biker out of her mind. Married to Tigger, she's unhappy and tired of his cruelty and manipulation. She longs to be in the strong arms of Wheelie, but she knows what the consequences are for him if they give in to their desire.
Wheelie’s fortitude is waning, and he wants nothing more than to claim Sofia and make her his even if that means going against another brother. Will he be able to turn his back on the Insurgents MC without any regrets?
Then a secret from her past comes forward and challenges their love to the max. Will Sofia and Wheelie ever get their happily ever after?

Chiah Wilder writes about rough, sexy men who know how to treat their women.
Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.
Her love of reading has always been center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her books. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, romances with tough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.
I have been dying for this book for so long now. Wheelie and Sofia have had me on pins and needles needing to get their story hints the first hints of it previously and it was so worth the wait. This book is filled with such an emotional roller coaster that I felt like I couldn’t put it down for even a second. The story was so captivating and the characters so real I felt every emotion they went through. Wheelie’s Challenge is not an easy sweet and fluffy romance. It’s raw and gritty but the love between Wheelie and Sofia is so utterly beautiful it sticks with you long after you’ve finished the book. Neither Wheelie or Sofia have the easiest of pasts. Both living through heartbreaking trauma in different ways. They also have monumental obstacles standing between them. It was truly an uphill battle for these two to get the happiness they both deserved but the magnetic pull between them with some of the deepest love I’ve ever read powered through every twist, turn, and obstacle that stood in their way.
So, Chiah Wilder has written an interesting MC book. Generally, brothers in an MC don't do anything that could betray their brothers. However, Wheelie and Sophia have a magnetic attraction to each other, even if she is his brother Tigger's ol' lady. Sophia can't stand Tigger anymore and she can't stand him hurting her anymore. Wheelie is kind and loving to her, and her day is made whenever she sees him or talks to him.
This book looks at love, loyalty, revenge, and betrayal. It was really interesting to see how those things worked in an MC setting. I mean, these guys don't follow any rules but their own, but one of the biggest rules is that you always have the brother's back and you don't betray him. The fact that there were so many different types and levels of betrayal make the story better.
Overall, I liked the book, although I did dislike some of the choices that Sophia and Wheelie made.
If there is one genre that I love to read is MC. I've had my fare share of them but I always want more and more. I can't help it. Just can't. I've read a few books from this author, not as many as I wished, but time has been nonexistent. So much to do, to read and not that much time. Chiah Wilder knows what she's doing. Her books are raw, wild, brutal and amazing. Each book keeps getting better by the chapter... Wheelie's Challenge is her latest release and it's the 11th book from the Insurgents MC series. But I need to tell you something. Despite all books are standalones you should read all books in order. You'll see why. This book explores the lifes of Sofia and Wheelie. These two had been in love with each other for so long but they couldn't be together. Sofia is married to one of the Insurgents, despite being abused she can't get away. And Wheelie being one if the brothers couldn't betray them but sometimes life has other ideas. Oh sweet mother of God... What a book... What a story. I've been wanting to read this for so long that once I started to read it I simply couldn't put it down and I would dare someone to interrupt me... The plot is superb, very well written, super engaging and intense. Each chapter made me even more in love with this series. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings that made my heart ache or burst with joy. Be aware that this book is not for the weak. This story is super strong with strong emotions and struggles. The obstacles these two overcome are tremendously overwhelming. Get ready for it... This book presented us with love, loyalty comaderie, friendship as well as abuse, violence, crime and betrayal. Get ready for some hot stuff... Just saying... Oh Chiah... This book is amazing and what I was dreaming it would be. I'm so overwhelmed with everything that I can't find the proper words. Can't wait for more. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I know, I know. How is that possible? Cheating is cheating, right? Well, not in Sofia and Wheelie’s case. I took some convincing though, because this is a solid, hard limit for me. Somehow, the author took me past the word and invited me to feel what the characters were going through. Not justification, but instead, an honest look at how situations are not always black and white…
“All she knew was that he had brought excitement back into her life. And like an addict, she craved her next fix.”
Why was Sofia caught in the situation she was in? Why did she stay? Questions at the top of my list and the answers were as messy and grey as the circumstances themselves. What was super clear was the physical attraction that existed between them. It started off innocently enough but time didn’t diminish what they both denied. It wasn’t just lust, it was everything….
Sofia was strong despite her inability to make that final move. She had to be to survive as long as she had. Breaking free of her current situation was going to need a huge leap of faith in herself, and Wheelie and over time, she found it. Wheelie was torn. He wanted to be up front about everything but respected Sofia’s feelings and his own precarious position in the Club. They were on the same page until a blind-side moment that shook it all up. I didn’t see that coming but it served to blow it all up in spectacular fashion.
I’ve only read a few stories in this series but I’m looking forward to catching up!
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Hawk's Property (Insurgents MC, #1) Jax's Dilemma (Insurgents MC, #2) Chas's Fervor (Insurgents MC, #3) Axe's Fall (Insurgents MC #4) Banger's Ride (Insurgents MC #5) Jerry's Passion: Insurgents MC 6 (Insurgents MC #6) Throttle’s Seduction (Insurgents MC #7) Rock's Redemption (Insurgents MC #8) An Insurgent's Wedding - Box Set (Insurgents MC, #1 & 9) Outlaw Xmas (Insurgents MC #10)
This is Wheelie’s story. Wheelie could have any woman he wants except for the one he wishes he could claim as his own. She was already claimed by another MC brother. She’s off limits. Having or doing anything with her could get him kicked out of the MC. Can he chance it? He would abide by that rule if he knew she was happy but he can see she is not. Sofia is married to Trigger and she has been unhappy for a long time. Trigger is cruel and always finds a way to manipulate her. She wants Wheelie but knows she can’t have him. One kiss just might change everything. But will Wheelie lose his MC brothers in order to have Sofia? Or will he lose not only his MC but also his woman?
I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
2.5 stars. Looking at all of the highly rated reviews shows I'm definitely in the minority on a rating. Wheelie and Sofia have been secondary characters in the previous books in this series. Sofia is the wife of a club brother who is very abusive to her. The club members know she's being abused. Sofia and Wheelie became friends when Sofia's husband was in prison and Wheelie would take her on her prison visits. Their relationship goes back six or seven years, a friend only relationship. The love/sex relationship develops in this book. Everyone sees the budding relationship. Sofia is a product of an abusive father who abused her mother. She now is the abused wife. Wheelie has carried anger for years because his sister was killed by her abusive husband. The two major things I didn't like.. Sofia is a weak heroine. She stays and stays and stays until finally after being with Wheelie she decides to leave and get a divorce. She does other things in the book that makes me think of TSTL. The plot reveals an unbelievable relationship between Sofia and the villain in the story. I've read all of the books in this series. Some have been good and some average. There are a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews on this book, so don't let my opinion sway you. Available on KU.
This book broke my heart. Sofia and Wheelie belong together but she belongs to Tigger. She is tired of being beaten and abused only to have Tigger be nice when they do MC functions. Wheelie know he has to get her to safety but it’s against club rules. When certain issues are brought to light, the entire club gets behind Sofia and vows to keep her safe. Throw in her brother and things go crazy. Excellent read with phenomenal writing.
Wheelie and Sofia want to be together but she is already with another brother so she is off limits, when it becomes clear she wants out because of the abuse , Wheelie makes sure she knows she has him, but both of their pasts are coming back to haunt them and I know cheating is cheating but nothing happened until they both knew she was done with her marriage.
This story pulls at your heart strings and makes you want to kill some people.
Loved the Insurgents ♡My fave series.Love Sofia and Wheelies amazing forbidden love story.Heartwrenching amazing emitional. So looking forward to the next book.
Oooo I really really loved this one! I absolutely hated Tigger with a passion, even when he was mentioned in other books about how he treated Sofia. I’m not even mad about the fact that she was with Wheelie while still married since her husband treated her like gum on his shoe. Wheelie was amazing about how was protective and loving to Sofia from the rip, and I’m just so happy for the ending. Such a small world with their siblings and that chaos too. Another great story of the Insurgents!

I loved Wheelies story! Expect the unexpected when you start to read this book! It’s very different from the others in the series and that made it a great read!! Can’t wait for the others in this series!

I almost didn't like this book, almost because of the situation between Tigger and Sofia and thinking that no MC would allow this behavior to happen (at least in these books). However, I pressed on because the story line was really intriguing, beginning with the story of Wheeler's sister and her abusive marriage. Now, years after the death of his sister by the hands of her husband, Wheelie's dilemma is that he has eyes for the beautiful and sweet Sofia, but she belongs to another brother of the MC. He doesn't let things get away from him and keeps his distance, but he knows how Tigger treats her and despises the brother for it. But it isn't his place to say or do anything. It's their rule that no brother can have another brother's old lady.
This story line broaches the topic of domestic abuse and focuses on not only the victims, but also on the abusers. One, a brother of the Insurgents MC, another, the murderer of Wheelie's sister, another...the father of the man who killed Wheelie's sister. It shows the vicious cycle of not only the abuser, but how the victim can also teach her daughter how to be a victim as well. Someone has to break the cycle!
These characters are very well written and quite complex. Wheelie is the handsome and sweet but bad ass biker who lost his sister years ago. Guilt for not having ended the man before he ended her life along with the hatred for that man is carried inside of him, and is vow to end that life carries itself within him as well. Sofia has had a hard beginning in life, being the daughter of an abusive father, watching him beat her mother for years until she was able to leave home with the man she thought would love and take care of her. That is until she became the very victim she watched growing up. Tigger is slime. Pure and simple slime. He beats his wife and cheats on her, throwing those women in her face. He belittles her, he makes sure she has no friends and has cut her off from all of her family and the few friends she did have. Only because of the President's rule about all old ladies attending family get together's does Tigger not mark her so that it is visible to the club. He is being watched, but not closely enough.
This is a great story and one that will have you fearing for Sofia and cheering for her and Wheelie, hoping that finally, love will prevail and give her the life that she truly deserves. I highly recommend this book.
I just love all of the Insurgents and Wheelie was no different. He is a tough biker with a heart of gold. Meeting Sofia was tough for him because she was another brothers wife. In the MC you never went after another's woman but Sofia was different. Tigger didn't deserve her. He beat her up several times and it was time for things to stop. Wheelie and Sophia started out as friends and kept it that way for quite awhile, then things changed. Wheelie wanted more and was ready for things to move ahead with her, they needed to get her away from Tigger. He was going away and asked some of the brothers to watch over her. Things were fine, Wheelie was going to meet up with her but she didn't show. Something was wrong, he contacted a friend and found out Tigger got back early and that mean't Sophia could be in trouble. Racing over there only to find out that she wasn't there but the President of the insurgents and his woman had her and a doctor was tending to her. He had done it again, beaten her up and this time very badly. Wheelie was told to stay away. Reluctantly he did until he could see her. Eventually Tigger was kicked out of the INsurgents for what he did. Bitter about things he found the one man that would help him and that was Wheelie's sisters husband. Kendra was Wheelie's sister who was killed by her husband and he would do anything to get to Wheelie before he got to him. Russ who turned out to be Sophia's brother used Sophia to bring Wheelie to town. Then he would kill him and let Sophia go to Tigger. In the end the tables were turned on them and the MC got what they came for and Wheelie saved Sophia. This was another of Chiah's great stories. Such a great couple and nice to see their happy ending.
I love the Insurgents MC. Remember how we all felt when SOA went away? I imagine that mourning will happen if Chiah Wilder ever ends this MC. It's family and here we are eleven books down the line and I feel even more invested in this crew.
Wheelie's Challenge is going on the list of one of my favorites of this series and that has to say something since I have loved them all.
This is one emotional storyline that truly snags your attention and doesn't let you go until the very end. Regardless of the choices made in this story, I was routing for Sofia and Wheelie right from the start. I was so caught up in what was going on I didn't even see the twist coming. I ran through almost every emotion I can think of. Happiness, hopefulness, sadness, despair. It was all there and the emotions that are evoked while reading are why I read. For that reason alone, this book gets 5 stars from me.
The emotions weren't the only thing that kept my attention. See above. Twist. There was a lot of action and drama that also kept me intrigued. This book literally had all my must haves.
Reading time was just under 5 hours, which I read in one sitting.
This is a standalone story, as are all of the others. If you have the time go back to Hawk's Property and start from the beginning. It's the family thing and you won't be disappointed. And when you are done there and are jonesing for more or just want to prepare for Army: Night Rebels MC which is coming in August, you can start with Steel and keep going.
5 well deserved, emotional stars from me.
Review by Corrie H. for Lamplight Review and Promotion **I received an ARC for an honest review
I've loved the Insurgents MC books for a long while and Wheelie has intrigued me from the beginning. I have not read all the books in the series yet and was able to easily follow along.
Generally in MC books, a brother would die before disrespecting the brotherhood but with Tigger and Sophia, Wheelie has one hell of a challenge staying on the sidelines. He's loved her for six long years and watching Tigger beat, cheat and generally, disrespect her has killed him. As a fully patched brother, he can't step up to Tigger without the support of the club and she won't leave out fear and desperation. With Wheelie's own sister dying at the hands of her abusive husband, it's a trigger for him. Even if he didn't already love her, he'd do anything to help her out of a situation that might eventually cost her her life.
Sophia knows she's in a world of hurt but can't figure out how to save herself. Raised to be a victim, it isn't surprising she'd marry a man like her father but with the help of Wheelie and the club's old ladies, she's learning that not all relationships are abusive. In her mind, she knows she can never be with Wheelie but her heart just won't hear that noise and she knows he'll help her, even if it means losing his beloved club.
There's an added revelation near the end that wasn't expected and complicates matters between Sophia and Wheelie. It was an unexpected twist and added depth to the storyline. Another great book by Ms. Wilder!
I know when I'm going into ANY type of biker-romance book that there are going to be things I'm not going to agree with. Same scenario when I'm watching an episode of Son's of Anarchy. I may not agree with something but 'tiss the life, tribulation, and nature of biker gangs.
And I'm usually good at talking myself down from being overly pissy or upset over something I don't agree with. BUT there was a point in this book where I REALLY had a hard time talking myself down. For a second I contemplated on going back and rating all the other books I read in the series a 1-star because I didn't like how the past characters acted or reacted to a certain situation.
My mouth tasted like vinegar and I didn't like it.
BUT after taking a step back and reading on, I was able to move past my feelings, the characters kind of redeemed themselves and in the end, after I read that last word I feel confident with my 3-star rating.
I really liked Sofia and was itching for her to get her story because I just knew that when she did it was going to mean the demise of her wretched husband, Tigger. I don't think that's any sort of spoiler considering it wouldn't be an HEA if that wasn't the case. And as far as her character and her plot line went, I was thoroughly pleased. Plus, Wheelie was the perfect yin to her yang and I was pleased with their story.
Looking forward to the rest of the Insurgent stories Chiah sends our way!
Wheelie's Challenge: Insurgents Motorcycle Club (Insurgents MC Romance Book 11) by Chiah Wilder
Here’s a story that goes against the grain of the usual MC tale. Betrayal and infidelity are a big no no in the MC, but Wheelie and Sophia have an attraction which can’t be denied. It’s not surprising that Sophia strayed as she has a difficult marriage to Trigger, she looks forward to meeting up with Wheelie and is tired of being beaten and fears for her life. While Wheelie try’s to follow the club rules, and try’s to help her, Sophia’s gentleness and beauty becomes to much for him to resist. The story covers the clubs loyalty and betrayal, and also revenge and a love strong enough to betray a promise. There’s many broken loyalties and betrayals in this story, and they’re on many different levels, it’s was fascinating to see how the guy’s worked each problem out differently...the MC social life is so messed up, the men can be dirty man-whores, some of the women are club whores and treated thus by single and married men, the others women are treated like queens, but they are a family and loyal to each other. Pretty mixed up group. I liked the story and the struggles that Wheelie and Sophia encountered. An intriguing story and very intense at times. The characters were very well developed, especially Sophia, she had a tough time with Tigger. A great story, I highly recommend it!

So first I'm going to say I have always loved the Insurgents MC series. I have been with this series since the very beginning, with Hawk's book. And of course of the spin-off series. Now we are on book eleven and finally at Wheelie and Sofia's book. Now this book can be read as a stand alone, but I would highly suggest going back and reading Insurgents Christmas so you can kind of understand their story.
Now I have to say I feel like I should have absolutely loved Wheelie and Sofia and been cheering them on from the beginning. But I have to admit I was very weary going into this book and not sure how I was going to like it. I wanted to give Wheelie and Sofia a chance and kept an open mind.
Unfortunatly I just didn't get it. Even from their story in Insurgents Christmas I never really felt a connection between them. I mean sure they seemed interested in each other and maybe even compatable. But I kind of felt like Mrs. Wilder just pushed them together because she felt like they needed to be together or because people expected them together.
Even in this book I just never Felt the connection between them. I also have to say that Sofia committed the biggest No No in my book. And that just really didn't jive with me well.
I will say this even though I never really connected with Wheelie and Sofia's story. Mrs. Wilder definitely threw in a twist I didn't see coming and surprised me.
I love love LOOOOVE Chiah Wilder everything she has written goes on my top favorite list and Wheelie's challenge has to by my favorite by the author . I was so happy that Wheelie was going to get a book and who his love interest would be just made me giddy . This can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend that you read the series in order it is a series you wont want to miss out on plus the couples make a couple of appearances manly my favorite ones well Wheelie and Sofia are my favorite now . Wheelie and Sofia share such a electric relationship they both feel a spark that quickly starts a fire that can't be put out . When certain things are reveled my heart just hurt for them I wanted them to be happy and not have anyone/anything stand in the way . You don't want to miss out on such a wonderful story with a couple that I was excited to see find their happy ending . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero=10 heroine=10 secondary characters=10 Chemistry=10 steam=9 romance=10 humor=3 darkness level=5 action=6 mystery=4 enjoyment=10 angst=3 story line=10 Story ending=10 character development=10 pacing=10 cover=10 stars=5 would I recommend this book=yes would I re read this book=yes would I read future books by this author= yes
I'm speechless!!! This book was definitely worth waiting for. Wheelie and Sofia are in love, there's one HUGE problem with that though - Sofia is already married to Tigger, Wheelie's Insurgent 'brother'.
This book is intense and gritty from the very first page. There is a lot of focus on the topic of domestic/spousal abuse. It covers the abuse of Kendra, Wheelie's sister, Sofia with Tigger and the abuse by the father of Kendra's abuser. It is a gripping tale.
Wheelie has loved Sofia for six years, yet he has been unable to act upon his love because it would be a betrayal to both Tigger and the brothers of the Insurgents MC. Sofia too, has been attracted to Wheelie, but has been too scared to leave Tigger. Finally she has gained the strength and courage to turn her life around. What will be the consequences of these actions?
Will Wheelie have to choose between the woman he loves and the MC Club he has considered his family for the past ten years? Will events of the past finally catch up with him and affect his happiness and plans for the future? What is the darkest mystery of all that could tear Wheelie and Sofia apart?
A riveting read that will keep you hooked until the final word. Definitely a recommended read.
Sofia is married to Tigger, a member of the Insurgents Motorcycle club. He cheats and beats on her. Wheelie is also a member of the Insurgents and has a thing for Sofia but it’s against their rules to mess around with another brother’s old lady. Tigger goes away and Wheelie and Sofia spend time together. Sofia is married to Tigger, a member of the Insurgents Motorcycle club. He cheats and beats on her. Wheelie is also a member of the Insurgents and has a thing for Sofia but it’s against their rules to mess around with another brother’s old lady. The President takes her to his house and she starts divorce proceedings. But Tigger is willing to let her go. He and her brother, who just got of jail, lure her to California where Tigger plans to kill Wheelie and punish Sofia. Can Wheelie and the guys get to her in time? O.M.G!!!! Excellent book. Explicit sex scenes. Bikers. Shockers and surprises. Some old friends and new ones too. I couldn’t wait to see how it ended and was not disappointed. I love reading biker books and Ms Wilder is one of my favorites..
By far my favorite book in the series. Wheelie and Sofia to me, had the most believable relationship in the series thus far. Some of the reviews had Sofia as weak because she didn't leave Tigger. Coming from an abusive relationship almost just like Sofia, I can tell you her reactions are spot on with abused women. I loved that Wheelie didn't revolve the whole relationship around sex like in the previous books. He loved Sofia for so many reasons other than that and I felt it. He was a stand-up guy, One you hope to have.
In this book we got out of the clubhouse, which I loved. They did things together outside of sex, which I felt gave me an inside to the relationship, more understanding of it. Though, I was mad at Wheelie for not going after Sofia right away after their fight, but he redeemed himself. And I liked that he didn't run to the clubhouse to drink and stare at the club girls every time he got mad. Yea, I'm looking at you Hawk. I was also let down by Banger and the other club men who let Tigger beat her under the club rule they couldn't interfere, what a cop out. Again, a real man would have intervened. Like my man Wheelie!
So, yes I did like this one, may even reread it at some point. Plot still somewhat over the top but I still enjoyed it.
This story has been in the making for some time, so I have been waiting for what has seemed like forever, and the brilliant Chiah Wilder didn't let me down at ALL! See, Wheelie and Sofia have been circling each other through previous books, but she's married to another brother, so this path wasn't going to be wine & roses. Now, I know what you are thinking, is there cheating? There's so many ways you can look at it, because you would have to know who Sofia's married to, and what she's been going through, but you'll have to judge for yourselves, because this isn't an easy read at all. But if you've been reading this series, then you know that. I know that I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, because Wheelie & Sofia had a connection, but it was very complicated in the Insurgents MC. I know there were HUGE twists that had me dropping f-bombs like a biker myself, as some straight up shocked the hell out of me. There's really no black & white outlook for Wheelie's Challenge, but as for me, I couldn't get enough of it, and I'm usually the first one to jump on the hard limit of cheating, but I just can't overlook the big picture! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
To be perfectly honest, the minute I started reading Wheelie’s story I thought he was a part of the Night Rebels MC, only to laugh at myself remembering he’s an Insurgent! Ok faux par aside, I loved Sofia and Wheelie’s story:) I don’t usually like to read about married women with single men, but I knew Sofia’s circumstances were extremely different but also difficult to navigate! Sofia is Tigger’s old lady but he disrespects her continuously by sleeping with the club girls, beating her and being a controlling @$$hole most of the time. When she’s with Wheelie, she feels alive and as though anything she wants in life is possible. Wheelie risks expulsion from the Insurgents to pursue Sofia, with almost catastrophic results! They fight the good fight, but ultimately it is a long road to what they both want.
Great read and the ending gave me the biggest smile:) Thank you to Ms Wilder for my advanced copy and I leave my honest review voluntarily in the hopes that many others will also enjoy Ms Wilder’s work.
I absolutely loved this book, I was pulled into the story right from the first page, watching the story play out in my head until I had finished it at 3am. Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book. There are some really good surprises and I don't think you will see story coming, I didn't. I got really frustrated at parts of the book and found myself talking to the characters, then was told they could hear me, which made giggle. There was a time or two i wished I could get hold of certain characters in the book and bang their heads together. I have loved each and everyone of the books in this series, this book being the 11th, but I have to say this book is one of my top 3. Chiah Wilder has done it again one fanfeckingtastic book and if you a fan of MC books and haven't read any of this series, then I highly recommend it, I don't think you will be disappointed. Chiah Wilder has never written a book that I haven't been able to lose myself in. So worth more than the rating I have given it.
They had found a forbidden love with each other, but tried to ignore it as long as they could. They finally couldn’t do it and came together, thats when everything went to hell in a hand basket. He found out that her old man was Being both mentally and physically abusive to her and it almost drove him crazy, because he couldn’t help her, without putting them both in jeopardy. He was a family member to the murder of his sister, who was killed by her abusive husband, who turns out to be his girlfriends older brother. Her husband has finally crossed the line with MC, when he beat her so severely that she needed stitches and bed rest. They realize that they dropped the ball on keeping her safe from him. They come together and she files for divorce from her husband, who has been kicked out of the MC and stripped of his kutte. It was found out that he had been stealing from the MC and lying to them, this signed his death Warrent. They get together and the MC accepts them as a couple now and they have found a love that lasts forever, and will grow through they children.
Miss Wilder has done it again, she's given us another 5 star read about one of my favorite MC series. The Insurgents are a tough, take no prisoners club and it was great to get this latest installment. All your favorites are here as well. I'm always happy when Hawk makes an appearance so I was definitely not disappointed. Wheelie and Sofia have been dancing around each other for a while. I think he is someone everyone would like. He's tough as nails when need be, but he also has a soft side that had me melting. He loves Sofia ferociously and will stop at nothing to have her. Sofia is one of those people you cheer for and hope she gets everything good in life. Their love story isn't conventional, it isn't all sunshine and rainbows but at the end of the day they belong together for sure. As in all her books Miss Wilder gives us a twist that was one I didn't see coming. Great job on another well written story. Can't wait to see what's next.
Who is Kendra Elmore? Where is she at? Who is Rus? Who are Lloyd and Reva? What happens on the night of a big storm? What kind of storm is it? What skin does Wheelie have in this game? We get some insight to Tigger and Sophia in this book. What is going on with them? Watching as Tigger turns to Wheelie and a few others when he is outof town, leads to something interesting. When Wheelie and Sophia talk about their respective families to one another, what do they find out? It sure makes the book more interesting. You have to read this book, but know there is quite a bit of unexpectedness to get through! Enjoy the read!
