About the author

As a child and teen, he fell in love with horror, starting with R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series, eventually graduating to the works of Stephen King, among others. He always seemed on the outskirts of normal and acceptable behavior and thinking. During his twenties he smoked a bit too much weed and dropped too much acid; but by the time he hit thirty, writing books became a passion. He resides in Spartanburg, SC.

Hunh. Totally unexpected ending. At least now I understand how the title fits in with the story contents. Which were actually quite good, for a 10 page zombie romp. Poor John is dumped via text message and a sent picture of his ex-girlfriend dry humping a muscled guy. In a fit of despair and vengeance, John decides to go out, get drunk, and get laid. And send pictures of himself getting laid to his ex. Too bad the prostitute he picked up has a nasty case of some bug.

I enjoyed the descriptions of a drunken and naked John taking pictures of his own john while the prostitute is in the bathroom turning into the undead. Tanner's entrance was explosive. Nicely done.

Brilliant

It was a brilliant little story. I really enjoyed reading this short story and would happily recommend it to anyone thinking of trying it.
