He was only supposed to deliver a pizza. And yes, I ordered sausage, but I never expected such a personal…touch.
I’m a good girl. I teach little kids, brake for squirrels, and always donate to cookie drives though I so don't need the extra ten pounds.
My sympathetic nature led to me sleeping with my ex after his granny’s funeral. The next day, he dumped me—again—via text, and I decided I needed a fresh start.
Luckily, I found a new apartment near my new school. Yay me. I also found myself unexpectedly naked with Dare, the smoking hot, single dad mechanic who works next door.
Dare did more than clean my spark plugs that night, let me tell you.
Then my worlds collide when Dare shows up at his son’s parent-teacher conference.
Next thing I know, surprise! Pregnant.
Dare knows I’m worried about my job at the Catholic school. And about how I’m going to handle the baby that might be his.
Please, God, let it be his.
I just never expected Dare to propose marriage. And he wants me to become his wife in all ways.
Especially the Biblical ones.

There is something so delightful about the Dirty DILF series by Taryn Quinn and while these books don’t have as much depth as both the Oblivion series do, I still can’t help but love them. A hot encounter leads to an unexpected pregnancy and more in this fun, crazy and raunchy romance.
I swear I loved Kelsey and her internal ramblings and somewhat awkward moments with people because it made her seem real. I admire her for making a bold change in her life and for not being ashamed of her sexual needs even when she winds up pregnant and not sure who the dad is.
What can you say about a guy who completely changed his life to make sure his wife and son were taken care of even when the wife bailed and left him a single dad? Dare was a bit on the rough side, but he had a good heart and more importantly he loved his family especially his 6 year old son. It was no wonder the minute he suspected Kelsey might be pregnant he went into crazy protective mode and I kinda loved him for it.
The chemistry between these two was off the charts and while they might have been brought together because of an unplanned pregnancy, there really wasn’t any question that their feelings ran deep even though they hadn’t known one another long. I loved the easy way they had with one another and how they made Wes (Dare’s son) a priority as well.
I loved seeing the couples from the other two books and the crazy moments laced throughout this book. A quick, sexy, and laugh out loud read, don’t miss Who’s The Daddy.
This was an entertaining single dad romance. I haven't read/listened to the previous 2 books, but got up to speed pretty quickly. It's book 3 in the series, but can be enjoyed as a standalone (though I think it would be best to read the other books since characters from the previous books appear and that's where our H and h meet.)
Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were wonderful as always as Dare and Kelsey. Their duet narration really brought this story to life. Kai was perfect as the sweet and quirky Kelsey, while Wen was amazing as the no nonsense alpha Dare. I loved their chemistry though will admit that some of the story felt repetitive, especially the epilogue. I didn't quite understand the urgency and intensity that Dare approached most situations with. Kelsey and her girlfriends brought some great comic relief though and overall this was a fun listen. The ending set the stage for the next book and it's clear that there is something in the water in Crescent Cove.
Absolutely left field for me, I normally don't read much romance, especially the steamy kind. But after reading a completely tame romance I decided to read the next freebie that popped up in my inbox, and this was it. Even though it was the third book, I easily rehashed what had happened to the previous couples and enjoyed reading about Kelsey and Dare. Even though the plot was at warp speed, I still liked them as a couple and enjoyed reading about them together. The sex was well written and hot, and you want them to be together with Weston and the new baby by the end.
Not my usual fare but leave it with me and I'll read anything. Four stars.
Who’s the Daddy was the one book in the series I had yet to read. I have adored every single story in this series and this book filled the gap with the characters I had yet to meet and fall in love with.
If you’ve followed the series, you aware that there’s something in the water at Crescent Cove. Not really, but it’s evident as each story comes out that pregnancy is contagion in this little down. With each installment, the stories get more original, funnier and sweeter than the last.
Taryn Quinn is a duo that has perfectly constructed a world I love to escape to. I never fail to laugh, swoon, sigh and love with each character I meet.
I enjoyed, devoured, and loved this romcom. The chemistry between the H/h and their friends is one of supreme giggles and even makes the story even more so entertaining. The multiple "O's" also added to make the story very hot. I had so much fun reading and I know I will be reading it again.
I completely recommend this to anyone who wants a story which will make them giggle and doesn't mind the "O's".
Y’all I love this story so much. The hero is so hot, demanding, possessive, undercover softie. All my favorite things in a hero and he’s a single dad.
I love how he loves Kelsey and takes charge of the baby that was a surprise even with all the uncertainties. He’s so loving and attentive towards his son, but it was so funny to see that his son was literally the replica of him. His attitude and temper and all.
The steamy was so hot. Loved the chemistry and tension made the angst even hotter.
Kelsey and Dare are a very believable couple. The circumstances are easier to relate to since neither of them were born with a silver spoon. I really enjoyed it.
Successful solo writers Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn teamed up a while ago to write steamy romances and now they’re back with the third book of their Dirty DILFs series turning up the heat and alpha male sexiness.
In “Who’s the Daddy?” Taryn Quinn speeds through the setup: on the heels of sleeping with and breaking up with her ex, kindergarten teacher Kelsey Ford decides to start fresh in a new town. While moving into her new apartment she gets a very personal and intimate pizza delivery from the mechanic next door. But Dare is more than a hot mechanic, he’s also a single dad and father of one her students.
That’s not all though, a few weeks after moving she finds out she’s pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is. But Dare is as possessive as he is sexy and wants another shot at having a family. Can he convince Kelsey to get on board?
Dare and Kelsey are likeable characters on their own and sizzling as a couple. While Kelsey’s inner ramblings and babbling tendencies make her a quirky heroine, Dare’s high handed protective penchants are sometimes too much but all come from the goodness of his heart wanting to take care of his loved ones, putting him in the very hot alpha male status. The couples from the previous books are back and add fun morsels to Dare and Kelsey’s speedy romance.
Who’s the Daddy? is set in a small town environment, and is an enjoyably fun, sexy and lighthearted read in which two people who fall in lust and find that their deep feelings for one another lead them to love.
Who’s the Daddy is book #3 of the Dirty DILFs series by writing duo Taryn Quinn. It is a standalone romantic comedy, told from both points of view with a happily ever after, no cliffhanger.
I'm actually reading the compilation "Santa Baby" with the 4 books in this series but I thought it would be better to review each book as I finish it.
So this is the third book in the series and I'm totally hooked to these characters and love how they are starting to form this big group of besties!
Sage met Kelsey in the 2nd book, along with Dare being introduced to the group. Sage and Dare are instantly smoking together and the baby fairy dust must have been sprinkled because another woman joins the baby in waiting club.
Dare and Kelsey are cute. Damaged, but cute. Their insecurities served to make them the people they are. They are a sweet duo and I enjoyed their interactions with Sage and Allie and their men. Can't wait to read the next one.
A mechanic and a schoolteacher. Small town romance. Single dad. Surprise pregnancy (looks like all in this town series is! Strong home grown inseminators!)
REVIEW: 425 stars-- WHO’S THE DADDY is the third instalment in the contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVEerotic, romance series co-authored by Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn aka Taryn Quinn. This is former race car driver, auto mechanic and single father Charles ‘Dare’ Kramer, and primary school teacher Kelsey Ford’s story line. WHO’S THE DADDY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Kelsey and Dare) WHO’S THE DADDY follows the building relationship between former race car driver, auto mechanic and single father Charles ‘Dare’ Kramer, and primary school teacher Kelsey Ford. Crescent Cove is the perfect place for Kelsey Ford as she embarks on a new school year filled with surprises and fun including her friends with benefits relationship with auto mechanic Dare Kramer, the man who stars in all of her fantasies and dreams. Never expecting to meet Dare at a parent-teacher interview throws Kelsey into a tailspin including the problematic situation of dating the father of one of her students. As the weeks pass, Kelsey’s ongoing flu-like symptoms force Dare to face the truth that the woman he’s dating could very well be pregnant. What ensues is the building relationship between Dare and Kelsey, as they embark on a quick lust to love romance towards their happily ever after.
The relationship between Dare and Kelsey begins as a one-night stand but turns into something more. Kelsey’s last boyfriend walked away wanting to find himself, while Dare’s ex-wife wanted nothing to do with settling down to raise a family. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.
WHO’S THE DADDY is a fun and sexy read with a wonderful group of sassy friends whose back and forth, humorous comments and quirky styles are spirited and energetic. All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters including Seth and Ally (Have My Baby #1), and Oliver and Sage (Claim My Baby #2), as well as the introduction of Dare’s precocious son Weston, his younger brother Gage, and Kelsey’s sister Rylee. Dare and Rylee’s story line is next in PIT STOP: BABY.
Reviewing this one is kind of tough. I did not like the beginning particularly, and I wish I'd stopped reading when I got to the epilogue, but the middle parts were pretty good.
I had completely forgotten the two previous books in the Crescent Cove series, so the fact that I felt plunked down into a story that I should have recognized is on me. I didn't catch on for quite a while until the Hamilton brothers rang a bell. By then, the two main characters had already had a steamy encounter and had done the deed. I'm never a big fan of when people have sex so early in the book because I just wonder why the heck they're doing it. I need to be invested a bit more in the characters for it to resonate with me. So I started out with a pretty ho-hum feeling about the book.
Then, as the story progresses, I caught onto their passion for each other. The situations were pretty good, and I did get a sense of who they were and why they acted that way. Realistic? Not particularly, but that was OK.
I liked the characters, and I liked that the story didn't go down some of the paths I feared it would. I was rooting for them to succeed and was happy when they did.
BUT, when I got to the epilogue, I felt the whole scene was superfluous and made absolutely NO sense whatsoever. It was a nonsensical repeat of what had already happened and did nothing to further their romance. I really, really disliked it. Also, it was a clear attempt to set up the storyline for the next book, one that sounds as if it's going to have a very similar plot. So far, I don't like the two main characters who have starring roles in that one, so I'll no doubt skip it. I don't want to put any spoilers into this review, so you'll have to read the book yourself to see if you agree.
I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I loved this story. I enjoyed Dare and Kelsey. I am glad that were are starting to meet and see new people. Kelsey is funny and just a caring individual. There were times where I thought Dare was a bit much but when he started to explain his actions to Kelsey I melted. I wanted to see more of Dare's son. He just seemed as though he would have given me more one liners if he had the time. I cannot wait to continue this series. On to the NEXT!
I like this series. It's silly with everyone getting knocked up, but that's the point. I wish this book had spent more time with Dare's son Wes. I would have loved to see how Kelsey connected with him outside of the classroom. At the weddings, the 3 of them held hands and I think it would have been more heart warming if we saw how the 3 of them became a family unit.
While I am not normally into stories with surprise babies, I love the work by these authors, so I have given this series a try. The themes that run through the three stories I have read are: good friends, romance, seriously steamy sexy times, as well as humour and laughter. This book presents another twist on a surprise pregnancy, and both Hero and Heroine have their annoying, immature moments as they stumble through an accidental pregnancy and building a relationship.
However, there was lots of love and loving, and there are moments of personal growth as each of them learn to trust, and by the end I was rooting for their HEA new family. I felt that although there might be some bumps in the road, that they had what it took to make it last long term.
My favourite parts of the book were some of the moments with Dare and his young son Weston. You come to understand that although Dare is a little rough around the edges and pushy at times, he will also be a devoted mate and loving and protective father to the surprise baby he and Kelsey have made. It was fun to visit with the main characters from Books 1 and 2 in the series, and see how they were coping with their surprise babies, and it was lovely to see how easily they embraced Dare and Kelsey into their extended family.
Plot: Dare and Kelsey know each other through mutual friends and have a hot encounter or two before they realize that she's his son's first-grade teacher. But that can't stop the course of true love even though everything seems to be against them.
Commentary: Dare was kind of a grumpy jerk to everyone, including Kelsey, and nobody really called him on the fact that just because you have stressors in your life doesn't mean that everyone is out to get you or that you can mistreat everyone. He really acted like Kelsey thought she was better than him and while that may have been a reaction due to previous experience (who knows, wasn't explained), it still made for some disbelief - why would someone stick around for that sort of treatment? You could tell by the end of the book that he did love her, but I don't think I would have ever gotten that far - it would have been a conversation of "treat me better or I'm outta here!"
This book was sent to me by the authors for an honest review. So far this series has been a delight to read. The two main characters, Kelsey and Dare were just great with each other. Kelsey is the new first grade teacher at the local Catholic school. Dare is a mechanic who also happens to be a father to a six year old son. They hook up a couple of different times before they find out exactly who they are in their personal lives. She discovers he has a son and he discovers she is a teacher when they have a parent-teacher conference. There ends up being an even bigger surprise from this meeting than what they were expecting. Dare does his best to persuade Kelsey that they are right together while Kelsey thinks that Dare just wants to be with her out of duty. Some of the things that come out of Kelsey's mouth just kept me laughing. I really liked the ending of this book and can't wait until the next book in this series is released
Who’s the Daddy by Taryn Quinn is the third in the Crescent Cove series by the writing duo of Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott. Told in alternating first-person perspective, this is a bit of an instalove, single dad, surprise pregnancy story and is a page turner.
Kelsey Ford is a new teacher in town, and is shocked and dismayed that her one attempt to cut loose and walk on the wild side results in a positive pregnancy test. Dare Kramer is a mechanic and former race-car driver who is utterly entranced by Kelsey. He hasn’t made time for socializing in eons, what with having a six-year-old son, but one time with Kelsey and he’s hooked.
I liked this story, but the FMC had me rolling my eyes throughout the story. I understand she's supposed to be "weird" or "goofy" with her comments and thoughts, but she came off as stupid instead, at times.
Her "flirting" fiascos were not goofy; they were stupid. Her thinking Dare didn't want her or see her as "sexy" anymore because he had sex with her "slow" and tender was stupid. Sometimes, sex is wild. Sometimes, it is tender. Sometimes, it's a mix and everything in-between. Doesn't every adult know this?
Also, since when does slow and tender mean, "I don't find you sexy?" Where in the world did the FMC come up with that? It's supposed to indicate deepening feelings. The MMC was making love to her tenderly and her stupid self was worrying he didn't find her sexy anymore because he wasn't "banging" her roughly. Nothing wrong with wanting it that way, but they had JUST had a serious conversation about their relationship and future. Read the room and moment FMC! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why he was being gentle/tender. The man was in his feelings.
Besides the FMC having moments that inspired eye rolling, this was a cute story. The development of the connection was gradual and there were cute moments interspersed throughout the book. This book starts out as the romance novel version of the classic "pizza delivery guy" porn scenario. The MMC delivers a pizza and the main characters are having sex within 30 minutes. They had met before but didn't really know each other at all. Just knew of each other through friends of friends. He didn't know she was a teacher and she didn't know he had a son. But she knew where he worked and he knew a couple of her friends.
Overall, I give this one a three and will check out more books in this series.
I read and loved the first 2 books in this series, I'm pausing this one without a rating because in all fairness I enjoyed the parts I read but the thought of who's the Daddy considering it was an either or situation simply did not work for me. Even though I quit this one I hope the authors write more books in this series because they really are funny, sexy and well written.
Seems like they waited forever to find the one woman who just fit him and a man who'd love her just the way she is. Oh...and there's something in the air or water because babies seem to be catching. Fun romantic comedy with no cheating or cliffhanger and you get 2 Happy Ever Afters! Enjoy 🤓
I so enjoyed Dare and Kelsey’s story! Dare is a single Dad. Kelsey is a Catholic school teacher. One night hook up leads to so much more. I enjoyed their steamy chemistry and everything that happened along their journey of getting to know each other. Add in characters from prior books in this series made it extra special. Another great story to this great series!
Single dad and an accidental pregnancy is a guaranteed read for me. Overall, this book had some good moments, but it was all over the damn place. I enjoyed the HEA.
When one night with the pizza delivery guy gives you more than you bargained for. This was a fun, easy read with the right amount of humour, instalove and a dash of feels. I enjoyed it and will be looking for others in the series.
Dare and Kelsey are a hot couple! There tryst over pizza turns into so much more. The inclusion of the puritanical attitudes of the parochial school, combined with small town life gives this book some juice. Can’t wait to read the stories about Rylee and Macy.
