Rate this book
The basilisks, cruel alien serpents, attacked our world. They bombed us. Hunted us. Butchered us without pity. But now we will be the hunters. We will assemble a fleet. We will cross the vastness of space. And for the first time, we will strike the enemy on his own soil. It's a time for courage. A time for heroes. We will no longer hide in bunkers. Daniel Arenson is a bookworm, proud geek, and USA Today bestselling author of fantasy and science fiction. His novels have sold over a million copies. The Huffington Post has called his writing "full of soul." He's written over forty novels, most of them in five series:

EARTHRISE — They came from deep space. They came to destroy us. Against the alien onslaught, Earth stands alone. But we will fight. We will rise. We will win. Start reading with Earth Alone, the first novel in this military science fiction series.

REQUIEM — Welcome to Requiem, an ancient kingdom whose people can grow wings and scales, breathe fire, and take flight as dragons. Requiem is explored in six trilogies, which can be read in any order. If you're new to Requiem, you can start reading with Requiem's Song (you can download it for free). For fans of dark, gritty fantasy like A Game of Thrones.

MOTH — Discover Moth, a world torn between day and night—its one half drenched in eternal daylight, the other cloaked in endless darkness. For fans of classic fantasy worlds such as Middle Earth and Narnia. Start reading with Moth, the first novel in this epic fantasy saga.

ALIEN HUNTERS — Got trouble with aliens? Call the Alien Hunters. A group of scruffy mercenaries, they'll remove the pest for you. Low rates. No questions asked. Start reading with Alien Hunters, the first book in this space opera series. For fans of Star Wars, Firefly, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

KINGDOMS OF SAND — Enter a world of sand and splendor, a world where gladiators battle in the arena, where legionaries and barbarians fight for glory, and where empires rise and fall.

Invade the Basilisk homeworld to finally win Earth's future? First they have to make Earth snake-free.

The fight for Earth is nearly over! The last bastion of the Basilisks is New York City, and Rowan and Bay are leading the Earth's army into taking the city back from the snakes and cleaning the Earth of snakes!

Emet Ben-Ari, the leader and commander-in-chief of Earth and it's forces plans to lead the fight to the Basilisk homeworld and kill Queen Zerka!

The author gracefully completed the Children of Earthrise Series, bringing to a conclusion the epic battle for humanity to once again live free on Earth. This book and the entire series has introduced an amazing cast of characters. In a future galaxy where Earth has been torn from humanity and mankind dispersed across the stars, reviled and despised as vermin, pests to be eliminated, the descendants of the legendary heroes of old Earth will rise against oppression and lead mankind home. That's a tall order for anyone, but the characters taking part in this story are up to the task, or will be when the time is right.

As usual, the author has brought us rich, warm characters that are familiar, comfortable, friends we've known and welcomed into our homes for years. The storyline, in all its threads and streams, kept us on the edge of our pages. The battle sequences are amazing and intense!

If you haven't read the series yet, I envy you! You get to meet and fall in love with these characters for the first time! All the worlds still lie ahead of you! The tears for fallen heroes haven't spilled yet. I can't help but feel that you'll love The Children of Earthrise Series as much as I have! Good Reading!

Wonderful series!

Read them all, start to finish! Great characters, wonderful world building! Why the 4 out of 5? Got a bit weary of severed limbs and exploding intestines. After a while it's all the same and gets a bit repetitious. It seems inserted just to add pages. It's still a great read!

Love it

I have been reading this series since the first earth rise book and I'm hooked. There are many deep characters that I find myself relating to being a veteran. I can't wait to read the next story based in this amazing and cruel universe...

The Legacy of Earth

A perfect finish to this series. So much sorrow and death but in the end Earth was reclaimed and they began to rebuild. There is hopefully so much to look forward to. New heroes will make Earth a better. Don't dare try to attack them because they will fail.

A Fitting End!!!!

Another EarthRise saga ends. After reading the or iginal EarthRise
series I was a little skeptic heading into this one but the sequel does do justice.

With elements from The first series every now and then, this becomes a fitting sequel.

good story, but a little like a shaggy dog story, good read. I wonder how the author will finish this series. I have loved all the action and the unbelievable solutions they come up with.

A Good Ending

This whole series is an inspiration. A pawn to what can be done once our will is set. Deep charts well written. Enjoy!

I don’t get it. The story is supposedly set thousands of years in the future but they seem to be stuck in the twentieth century. Why?

Revenge.

Science Fiction without a doubt,
So many different aliens that it’s hard to keep with them all and amazing space battles that the galaxy have never seen before.
The author Daniel Arenson manages to write a great ending for this series.

Beautiful narration by Jeffrey Kafer for each of the characters in this creation.

My absolute recommendations !!!
