i read this book as part of an arc program. I really enjoyed this magical love story between single dad Cole and his daughter's first grade teacher Mason. Cole was a widower and moved to a neighboring small town to raise Olivia and open a book store. When Cole met Mason at a parent teacher meeting, there was an instant connection. Cole was very quiet and didn't make many friends since the move. When Mason went to the bookstore to buy books about witchcraft, they talked a little and Cole invited Mason over to watch a game. When Mason confessed to being gay, Cole realized the attraction was mutual and they began seeing each other. Mason understood Cole was still dealing with his wife's death and he wanted to help him. Cole understood Mason's beliefs and was curious about them. I thought they brought out the best in each other and were great together. Mason wanted a family and when Cole found him in the woods, they have an encounter that leads to a huge surprise in the morning. I loved this story. I thought things were meant to be between Mason and Cole and their family, This is the first book i have read by Troy and I will be reading more from him. Well done.
This is a wonderful, heartwarming MM romance with just a touch of paranormal in it, and I really enjoyed reading it. This book is about: a bookstore owner (Cole Armstrong) has been trying to piece his heart together since the death of his wife, He lives for his daughter (Olivia) then the surprisingly unexpected occurs. He falls for his daughter’s handsome, dark-haired male teacher (Jason Savage) What you will find in this book is: drama, some intrigue, memories, attractions, spring equinox, Beltane, dreams, practitioner, meditation, curiosity, fertility spell, mpreg, shock, disbelief, confusion, a family, happiness, lust, passion, love and a steamy scene. The characters are interesting, well developed and realistic with their emotions. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written, it keeps the reader’s attention. I would recommend this book. “I received a complimentary copy, so I could give my honest opinion”
Grief is a personal journey each must travel at their own pace. Cole lost his wife and lost direction in his life. His one saving grace of his daughter Olivia, a precocious and sweet little girl. When he meets Olivia's teacher Mason his life's light brightens. Mason is a wicca who keeps his life style to himself but when he meets Cole he feels the mutual attraction to Cole & his life also takes on new meaning. This was an enjoyable read with a mpregnance happening under unusual and very quick circumstances. Every character had such a charming quality.
For my voluntary and honest review I was given an ARC of this story.
This was a sweet read. Mason was a great guy that was different than the small minded people that loved in the town, and Cole had to hide his true emotions and put up a facade to care for his daughter and in-laws feelings about his departed wife. Mason pushed Cole just enough to let him know that it was okay to have those feelings and express them with him. This was definitely a good read.
A different and interesting read. Cole's wife died two years ago, and he is raising his young daughter. Mason is her new teacher and a practicing witch. He finds it difficult to open up to others, but Cole may be worth the risk. Mason is still so lost and must decide if he is ready to move on and live his life. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
ARC received for Honest Review. Couldn't put it down. I love the way Troy Hunter brought the characters together. Cole loses his wife & moves out of town with his little girl. He meets his daughter's teacher Mason during a parent/teacher meeting & they just clicked. Story had the Supernatural, romance & hot sex.
Wonderful book! Mason is Cole’s daughter first grade teacher. Cole lost his wife to cancer a few years ago. When Cole and Mason first meet they feel an instant attraction. They start to see each other more often and their relationship grows from there. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This story shows love is love. Mason and Cole meet during a parent teacher conference and it's instant attraction on both their parts. To add to the attraction is a beautiful little girl with love in abundance. The complications could come from "Mom and Dad", accept acceptance is what love is about. Great story on Love is love.
Cole is a single father and a bookstore owner. Mason is Cole's daughter Olivia's 1st. Grade teacher. Is was instant attraction for the guys. The love starts slow but goes into hyper speed pretty fast. All in all a pretty good story something to enjoy for a on a hot summer afternoon.
Troy and Noah did an excellent job with this newest book. Sexy fun in the woods, magic, and an adorable 6 year old that makes you smile to read. Great book to read.
