Sons of Sin #2

The Virgin's Baby

Rate this book
Having a stranger’s baby wasn’t a thing I’d ever dreamt of doing…

As a busy college student, I didn’t have time for the opposite sex.
The center of my world was my approaching career.
Until he came along.
Stimulating. Virile. Obsessive.
I was supposed to have his baby and nothing more.
Only, he wanted much more than I could give.
His slightest touch turned me into a puddle of melting flesh.
If I allowed it, he would own me—body and soul.
I would give him his heir, but never my heart.

"The Virgin’s Baby" is a full-length romance novel with a happily ever after, no cliffhangers, no cheating and plenty of steamy scenes, plus it also includes a sneak peek of "The Virgin’s Dance".
Never miss a chance to have some fun and enjoy this Kindle melting book.

Oh my God people! Did we read the same story for all these great reviews?

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Ransom (What the heck kind of name is that for a Hero????) is a Manho with a somewhat really strange taste in women. You see he only picks up ugly & fat women to f**k because he thinks pretty women would require emotions that he doesn't want to give (.

So he lives with his rich grandfather and spends his money every day, all the while never holding a job but partying with his 3 best friends and "conquering" women! Yes, people, I said "conquering" because he states several times that is what each woman he picks up & f**ks is to him. Lovely isn't he?

So when his grandfather who is critically ill with cancer, tells him to go make a baby with someone so that Fatherhood can (1) make him grow up finally with responsibilities & (2) so that when Grandpa dies, he is not alone in life, he sets out to find a baby mamma to carry his baby.

Enter stupid heroine, Aspen (again - what the hell kind of name is that???). She is a college student working her way to her engineering degree. She has no family and is about to go broke and not finish school, so when she sees the Ad, they agree for her to carry his baby (babies) and have her live with him and be part of the children's life. She is also a virgin. Why is that relevant you say? Because there is a somewhat funny (and totally GROSS) scene in which this is highlighted.

So besides a strange & douchebag Hero, we have a supposedly smart heroine but for the obvious flaw that she thinks with her "lady parts" all the time in regards that she wants him to take her virginity and is not therefore hearing the douchebag that SHE IS NOT HIS TYPE! I can't count the # of times he told her this and she still begged the m......f....r! Lady had no pride people!

So besides all this, the writing is so bad that I felt a 13 year old had written it. Here's an example:

"Is your boobs real? Would you have an aversion to letting me see you naked Aspen?"
" To see if I have any odd things about me or deformities?"
" Sure!"

"I don't get you Ransome Whitaker. I really don't. But it would be fun trying to figure you out".
" I wouldn't bother if I were you. I'm a riddle wrapped in a puzzle then sealed shut inside of a rubik's cube. Even I don't really understand myself most of the time!

" I could have told the doctor I'd had too many women in my past. I knew what I would do with Aspen if I had sex with her. She would become a conquest, and I always moved on from conquered women!"

My cock was full, and I had to smile at her reaction when she saw it. Stroking it once, I asked, “You like what you see?”

She nodded then sighed. “I hope you don’t hit any of our babies in the head with that monster.”

Laughing, I grabbed the bottoms of her shorts then pulled them off her, leaving her naked on the bed. “I think Mother Nature made that impossible, baby.”

“I hope so.” She held her arms open. “So, come to me and let’s get this virginity thing out of the way.”

I laughed again. “Why don’t you just lie back and let me do the magic that I do?”

“Or we can do it your way.” She wiggled a bit to get comfy. “I’m open to anything with you, babe.”

“Glad to know the sky’s the limit with you then.” I climbed onto the end of the bed. “Now, I want to taste this appetizing-looking morsel you’ve got between your legs.”

I watched her fist the sheets as her expression went to one of concern. “You’re going to,” she paused before whispering, “eat me out?”

So why did I read it? I think Elvis abducted every brain cell I had left. That is the only excuse I have.... enjoy folks!

This doesn’t even deserve a star tbh and here is why :

There was so many things wrong from the beginning.
First Ransom. What kind of fucking name is that?

Second. Ransom is as spoiled as any rich petty IMMATURE bachelor they can get. He cares about his physical appearance and isn’t worried about being thirty with no prospect whatsoever. Yea he’s rich. Which brings me to the next few lines I read.
“It got him thinking about his accomplishments” there was a long paragraph full of nothing!!!!!! Oh my god. Down to high school where he literally said he graduated from the skin of his teeth. Whatever the fuck that means! Lmao!!! He didn’t care about his grades? He boasted. Girls were his focus, he said! He cared about how HARD his puberty hit him and it hit him hard. Talk about SHALLOW AS FUCK! Oh god! I thought he’d have more accomplishments to add like business acquisitions or work achievements but nothing! Lol he didn’t make anyone proud.

Third thing in the first few pages of the book! Actually it was the second and it ticked me off so bad!!!! “In my twenties, I began to refine my tastes ... blah blah.. I liked my girls on the lower end of the scale. Anywhere from a two to a five made my dick hard. Blah blah... I liked to live life free as a bird. .”

You’re fucktard, Ransom. You stupid fucktard. So he likes fat girls on the scale. His friends like a 10 and it’s a win win because his friends wouldn’t give the girls Ransom likes the time of day. Ugh. This is ridiculous and utterly degrading!

Ransom is spoiled and uneducated. Literally. He “found a loophole” in his grandfather’s stipulations to get his inheritance. He got the degree but it never said anything about a damn job so he took the card and just went on endless vacations. So fucking spoiled so fucking ungrateful! After everything that grandfather did! Raising Ransom when his parents died. He’s talking to his sick grandfather like he can’t believe his grandfather doesn’t understand why he doesn’t want to put down roots. Why all he wanna do is have fun. He’s so immature I can’t.

To the author. I don’t know what drugs you took when writing this or how drunk you are, but this is shit and I don’t understand why it’s published. I’m really sorry for being mean and cursing but this is ridiculous!!! Have some dignity woman! Actually HAVE SOME CLASS. take a page out of some other author because lady you ain’t cutting it!

What kind of fuckery is that they chose for the in-vitro when they can do it the old fashion way? Stupid hero being traumatized by his whore mother but didn’t work his ass, meekly following his ill grandfather request to have baby. Urghhh

Another great book by Love! Ramsom Whitaker has his degree in Petroleum Engineering fromm Texas Tech in Lubbock but now turning 30 he has never worked a day in his life vacationing with other rich young men at different resorts around the world. He gets a call from his grandfather's PA to come back to his grandfather who reared him since the death of his parents when he was 15. When he returns to Lubbock, he finds his grandfather on his last leg fighting lung cancer. His grandfather tells him he has changed his will to give his billions to charity unless Ransom has an heir before he dies. Aspen is a young coed at TT in Lubbock who only lacks one more semester to finish her Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering whse father who reared her as a single parent was killed in a oil field explosion and over the last semester both her car and her father's truck has been repossesed along with the furniture and the home she lived in. She now shares an apartment with a coworker at Dairy Queen. It is May and she finds herself and her coworker laid off and that she does not qualify for student aid or have anybody to sign with her for a loan. That is when she begins to make inquiries about being a surrogate mother for Ransom. The Virgin's Baby tells the story that will keep you turning pages as Ransom changes his playboy ways slowly sharing his secrets with Aspen as she moves in with him and his grandfather. The three of them each have separate and hard lessons to learn before they can become a loving family.

Ransom Whitaker is faced with an ultimatum, have an heir before his grandfather dies or lose his inheritance. Aspen Dell is all alone, has lost everything she held dear and has now lost her job. How is she going to be able to pay for her final semester of graduate school? Although Ransom does not trust in relationships, he knows Aspen will be a perfect mother for his child. Aspen is desperate enough to accept Ransom’s offer, but can she accept the fact the Ransom will never love her the way she wants him to? Can Ransom find it in him to overcome his fears and preconceived ideas about love to accept Aspen and his babies into his heart before he loses them all? Their journey to become a family may be a bumpy ride, but it is one you will be glad you took with them.

This is a delightful romance with its ups and downs. The story is fast paced, appealing, and the characters are well written, strong, interesting, and easy to empathize with. The narrative flows easily, changing POV’s between the H & h. You will find it hard to put down. I strongly recommend this as a very enjoyable read!

Excellent contemporary billionaire romance with babies included. Ransom has been off partying with his best buds o a beach. They were celebrating when he received a call that his grandfather was extremely I'll so he headed home. Upon arriving he's given life changing news about and from his grandfather. Aspen is hoping to finish her Masters Degree but realizes she has no money and that her part time boss was letting everyone go. Suddenly, and sees a note on a bulletin board at school. Ransom needs a surrogate to have his baby in order to meet a stipulation on Ransoms grandfather's will that be has to have an heir. Then the fun begins. This book has unexpected elements such as: sadness, laughter, misunderstandings and romance. I received a complementary copy of this book via Ebook Itch and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Love.

Absolutely my favorite Michelle Love novel to date. Michelle storylines are always seamless. She is a very talented author, no matter which of her stories you choose.
Aspen has had a really rough deal in life. But she has always found a way to make it through. This time though she will need a little help. And that comes in the form of a man named Ransom Whitaker. He is a total player and does not want to settle down. But that might just be taken out of his hands.
Together these characters have incredible chemistry, but they both do not want to acknowledge it. This is an amazing relationship journey and a very interesting read.

The Virgins Baby is the tug-o-war story between Aspen and Ransom and in an odd way, Lucias too. Single and not wanting to be serious about adulthood, Ransom is told by his ill grandfather that he has to find someone and have a child, an heir, before grandfather passes. In enters a desperate Aspen, a college student on the brink of finishing but is broke.
Needless to say, there were definite sparks when these two meet, but they’re damped down by sheer will.
The story is overall sweet. Some aspects I find a little questionable, like the decision skills of the characters. I swear Margo is the only one with her head on straight. But otherwise, this was an entertaining story.
I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

The Virgins Baby is the 2nd standalone novel in the Sons of Sin series by Michelle love, a well written fast paced romance with Aspen and Ransom's POV's.
On his 30th birthday Ransom, a bad boy thats spent his time parting and sleeping with woman all over the world, is told by his grandfather that he needs to have a heir before he dies or he will be left out of the will with nothing to his name.
Low on funds, unemployed and in her last semester of college Aspen applies to an ad thats looking for a surrogate.
The attraction is instant between the two but Ransom cant bring him self to love Aspen as he believes that all beautiful women are gold diggers. How do you make a flawed man believe in love?

A great story by Michelle. Her characters pull you in and keep you reading till the end. It has sadness, happiness and romance with misunderstandings along the way for Aspen and Ransom.
Aspen has lost everything and shes run out of money to continue her degree. Ransom has to have an heir in order to receive his inheritance but hes a playboy at heart, so he decides he needs a Surrogate to have his heir. Aspen applies to be Ransoms surrogate only while there on the journey together things change and Ransom wants more than originally agreed. Will the playboy get everything he wants, and will Aspen be able to let her baby go and finish her degree.

Meh

Mary Sue heroine meets weak cad for the purpose of making a baby in response to blackmail. Improbable scenario gets worse when our heroine encounters a financial aid office unwilling to extend aid AND she loses her minimum wage job. At least her best friend isn't an enemy in disguise. The cad's grandfather blackmails our hero who will do anything to keep his grubby hands on the family's filthy lucre, except work. There's character growth, especially on the cad's part, which is nice to see. But too much of the story fails to suspend disbelief. The author has potential and a need for an editor to help with punctuation and grammar errors, to tighten up the narrative, and make helpful suggestions to keep the story from derailing.

Ransom Whitaker is a playboy who finds himself needing to have a heir before his Grandfather Lucius dies. If Ransom doesn't then he loses all the wealth he has been use to. Aspen is in need of money to finish her last semester of her master's program. She answers Ransom's surrogate wanted ad and finds herself in an uphill battle to get Ransom to love her. Ransom and Aspen also find themselves in a battle with Lucius as he threatened to change the will again if they don't marry. How can there be three winners in "The Virgin's Baby" by Michelle Love new book? Loved how Aspen is written to be a strong woman and won't compromise the love that she wants.💙💙❤

An impossible situation, makes you do desperate things.

When Aspen finds herself in an impossible situation she finds herself considering doing something she never thought she'd do. Ransom Whittaker has never done anything if it wasn't easy. At thirty years old he doesn't have a job, he just lives off his family's money. When his Grandfather throws a wrench in his life by letting him know that if he doesn't produce an heir before his Grandfather passes away all the money will be donated to charity. These two couldn't be more opposite of they tried but they both need the other to get what they want. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

When Ransoms grandfather gives him an ultimatum he can't believe what is happening. Setting out to accomplish the task, he meets Aspen who has her own reasons for wanting to go along with his plan. Just when he thinks he has gotten what he wants his grandfather springs another requirement at him but this time Aspen isn't so willing. Will he be able to convince Aspen or will he loose it all? This was a very enjoyable read! I couldn't put it down once I started it! I would definitely recommend this book.

2 1/2 stars......
I wanted to like this more than I did. The H/h, Ransom and Aspen, were not always the most like able. He was a playboy who was more concerned about his inheritance than anything. She was willing to give up everything for a man who said repeatedly he would never love her. They lacked integrity, ultimately both doing whatever necessary to get $$$$$$. I generally like Michelle Love’s books, but this was not one of my favorites.

The main male character is really a bit of a sloth and quite into himself to begin with. Over the duration of the story he starts to mature and own up to his own decisions and mistakes. The main female character is a very determined and goal oriented young woman. Even though she is younger than the main male character, she is the more grounded person and steadfast in her love and beliefs. The story flowed well and was easy to read. Cute romance.

Good

I liked it but I just felt like the author could of left some details. It was a really good story really sweet and loving. I just felt like it could of been shorter and not drag on so much. I felt like the writer left some things that should been address like what happen to his friends what happen to her friends did they ever meet each other. I just wished more was said about the main topics.

This book has all the elements I love; dual POVs, a crazy yet relatable premise, and MCs that you never would have put together falling madly in love. The writing style is smooth and engaging, pulling me in from page one. And the HEA is so sweet! I really enjoyed it and will read more from this author.

Ransom must have an heir before his grandfather dies or he will lose his inheritance. Aspen has just lost her job and needs money to pay for her last semester of graduate school. Can they keep their arrangement strictly business? This is a fast-paced emotional read with plenty of drama and steam. The story really drew me in, the characters have great chemistry. A good read.

Omg! I really enjoyed this story! Lots of twists and turns! I got frustrated with Ransom at times because he was so stubborn and hard headed! His granddad also got on my nerves a few times as well because he tends to meddle, even though he had good intentions! I recommend this book!

Meant to be

I enjoyed this book so much. Ransom has issues with commitment because as a child he caught his mother cheating on his dad. His wealthy and very ill grandfather will disinherit him if he doesn’t produce a heir before he passes on. Ransom places an add for a surrogate and the girl who answers turns out to be the love of his life.

Michelle always writes the most awesome romances. I really enjoyed this one. Even though, the beginning took me a little bit to get into, I did find this book pretty good. Ransom and Anna ended up being a cute couple and I liked their chemistry. Anna just needed more of a backbone imo. But still a good read.
