How do you mend a broken heartstone?
Amber crashed onto an alien planet and survived the dangers of an unknown world. Three literally hot aliens with lava coursing through their veins decide she’s their mate. She’s endured everything Sonhadra has thrown at her but she might not survive their fiery embrace.

Pel and Mishal know that the commanding human female is their mate. They vow to claim her once they repair Flin’s fractured heartstone, the material from which can only be found in the frozen north. Barely able to keep their hands off each other, how can Amber and her Fire Valos resist temptation until they can find a way to safely be together?

Inferno is a return to the multi-author, multi-book Valos of Sonhadra series and full of steamy Reverse Harem action.

The Valos of Sonhadra series is a Sci-Fi alien romance with each of the books in the series being told by a different author. If you have a favourite author of the bunch and don't want to read them all don't worry, each book can be read as a standalone. The background story for each book is the same, the heroine for nefarious and various reasons has been locked away in a prison ship and being experimented on by scientists. The experimentation changes most of the heroines in some way, which becomes massively useful when the prison ship crash lands on an unfamiliar planet. That's when the heroine starts to meet the natives. Sonhadra, the planet they have landed on, is inhabited by different factions of valos. The valos all have unique abilities and appearances...and most of them haven't seen a female in a long long time.

Although these books can be read as a standalone, if you have read Blazing in this series then our heroine, Amber, will be familiar. She is the leader of the band of humans that Lucie (the heroine of Blazing) offered shelter to. Amber is unique in this series so far; she is completely unaltered and doesn't have any extra powers. However, that doesn't stop her from appreciating the burning hot hunks she's found herself living with. Especially the outgoing Pel, the more broody Mishal and the missing brother in their triad Flin.

This book is perfect for when you want a quick read with some hot alien reverse harem action. The heroes managed to make volcano rock men both sexy and sweet and I loved seeing the curious and mischievous personality of Pel and the more intense Mishal court Amber. All whilst trying to save their fallen brother Flin.

I don't know if this one is my favourite in the series, but I did have great time reading. I love the valos and can't wait to see what will happen next as their world develops.

This should be Book 10!

This should be Book 10, not 11. I started trying to read Book 10, Iced, when I realized I had no clue who these characters were or what was going on. I didn't remember an Amber and Pel. So i went looking thinking maybe i had to re-read and my old brain just forgot, but nope, these were from this book. I decided to stop 10 and read this one and so glad I did as it gives so much more back story and it was at this books half way point that the start of 10 happened and now I can read it without being totally lost. This book has no spoilers for it either so it reallg makes more sense to read this one first and maybe talk to whoever's in charge and get the numbers fixed. So onto the story. It was actually an enjoyable one. Not a lot of drama, but there was a lot of world building, which is good in this series. We start to understand the heartstones a little better in this one. The romance is sweet. A good addition to the series.

A Hunk, A Hunk of Burning🔥Love 💘

Their Heartstones 💓Burn🔥For Her

Amber💃💋 is another one of the women prisoners liberated from the crashed prison space station. The Valos rock and lava men are slowly being restored to life by forging their heartstones💓 and putting them back in their chests.
The huge men spend their time as a trio, and they mate that way, too. Flin is the third man in the trio, but he needs a heartstone💓. Until then, he is inert, lifeless. Mishal and Pel carried Flin all the way across Sonhadra to the forge for a new heartstone.

You know, this whole idea of rock men with lava inside them being able to mate with human women is pretty farfetched, but it's fun to imagine. Talk about some🔥hot men! Recommend!

Long live SONHADRA!!!

I enjoyed this book ! As an addition to the primary 9 books of SONDADRA, I thought it was a perfect next step . In this book, we follow Amber ,Kira ,and Brandy , three of the many survivors that stayed with the shipwrecked pieces of the Concord. When Lucie arrived with an invitation and some much needed supplies, no one wanted to trust her. Well ,would you trust a person that helped torture you ?? NOPE!!
But the upcoming Winter weather and ice and snow, are no reason to be stupid, when you can't do any better! So to the Caldera every one went 😊. Every one adjusted to this new life , except for Kira, who , because of all the torturous experiments performed on her , was Actually wilting in all the extreme heat in the Caldera. Amber finds herself in a leader type of role in this ragtag group and is good at it . She , unlike many others, was not experimented on. She was more the person who took care of the computer systems and such.
The whole Caldera is in the process of awakening the other Fire Valos, but many have broken heartstones. And without proper replacements , there is little hope of reviving the remaining Valos.
Pel and Mishal are Two Fire Valos who have been revived, but are missing the 3rd member of their Triad. When they return from rescuing Flin, Amber's beauty and how others defer to her attracts the pair , but they are loathe to proceed without the other member of their Triad. Flins heartstrings is found to be defective, and Amber , Kira, and Pel , and Mishal set off to the Northern Valos city of E'Lek to see if they can somehow find replacements for the stones.
As the journey progresses, so do their feelings for one another, and even though their are many obstacles and situations, the beauty of SONDADRA and their love for one another shine through!!!
I especially loved the epilogue as it moves the story forward and we get to see many of the previous books characters come together 😊😊😊😀😀.
Looking forward to many more HEA'S of All Concord survivors !!!!

Book 11 is the epic Valos of Sonhadra series.

After Surviving the concords crash and making their way to an abandoned village and eventually to the fire city and home of the fire valos. It’s time to make Sonhadra their true home, as the ‘unofficial leader’ of the human survivors Amber finds herself making decisions for all her group... but what she really wants is love.. she sees the relationships blooming around her and after so much time as a prisoner and on Sonhadra...craves that for herself... especially when she meets Pel and Mishal...after returning with their ‘sleeping’ brother flin... she finds her self wanting them more and more.

But the tribe brother won’t and can’t make Amber their mate until they fix clubs heart stone... despite craving her. And solving the problem of the fire city’s rising lava lake.

Ananother fantastic instalment by Nancy Cummings... and the title is appt because the chemistry between Amber and her Valos is HAWT. I adored seeing the relationship develop between Amber and mishal... and Amber and Pel... it was brilliant and especially with Pel and his teasing nature.

The thing with this series..especially so with the second round books... is that you get to see and catch up with the previous characters continuing stories which I just adore. As well as finding out about ( what we’re side characters ) stories like Amber ( and Kira in iced book 10 ) and seeing the world of Sonhadra develop into more!

I say keep them coming because I am addicted to this series.

This book takes place on the planet of Sonhadra in the area where the fire Valos live. Amber was on the prison ship that crashed here and she was the leader of her small group of humans that struggled to survive on the planet. Lucie, whose story was in "Blazing", brings them food and other necessities and the group eventually comes to the city of Caldera where the Fire Valos are being revived with their heartstones. These Valos form triads and live with one female.

Pel and Mishal know that Amber is their mate. They want to claim her, but they must first repair the heartstone of the third Valo in their triad, Flin. In order to replace his cracked stone they must travel to the cold north and convince the local tribe to let them have replacement stones. Amber doesn't want to be away from them and insists that she go along. They must hurry to complete their mission due to some problems in the area where the sleeping Fire Valos must be revived. If they are too late the area will be inaccessible. A new town will also have to be built to house the humans and Fire Valos as Caldera is becoming too dangerous for them all.

I liked that there was no sex for most of the book as the group waited to be complete and ready for mating. It was also interesting to read about the other groups on the planet. I will have to read some of the books by the other authors to find out how the other Valos and humans live. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

This was a great read, it kept my attention and made me keep turning pages into the sunlight the next day. This story gives us Amber, who we met in Blazing, acting sort of like the commander to the other surviving human crash victims. Amber catches the eye and interest of Pel and Mishal, who need to revive the third of their triad, Flin who is still without his hearstone, which is needed for life! The Lava is rising and threatening the humans and the Ferix are being born of said lava, so something must be done as soon as possible. The men who want their mate, Amber want to revive Flin before they can even think of claiming their mate but Flin's heartstone is fractured. The secondary characters have some great parts in the story and the world building is pretty great too, I could picture their surroundings as they traveled from one area to another, in search of new heartstones to revive Flin and the other warriors still without the hearstones that give them life. I enjoyed Amber and her attitude towards her fellow survivors and how well she adjusted to each of her men even though it was sort of dangerous having any sort of physical contact with the "lava men" Although it was a fairly long story, not one word was wasted in describing the life and adventures of the lives affected by the oncoming Lava and the species, the Valos and humans that are in danger. You can rest easy knowing the story comes complete with a satisfactory HEA in the Epilogue. I totally enjoyed it.

Living with decisions

Okay I changed this up a little and did not read them in order. I know it kind of ruins the effect when reading this review. First read this first before book 10 with Lydia and the iced men. I am glad I followed that advice for 2 reasons I could take everyone's measure about the tribe and I can see how Lydia is. Plus it kind of goes with blazing and it makes the storyline easier to understand.

Ok now for my spoiler review. I think that Amber is a hypocrite first and foremost. These girls sit on their high horse and judge Lucie granted she deserves a little bit of their bitterness and anger however in her position they would have down the same thing. My case in point Amber even though she didn't help with the operations like Lucie she was still an accomplice. She had access to the information and could have sent it somewhere to let others know what happened right? But she didn't because she was looking out for her own best interest. Every one of those women would have looked out for their own survival including their families instead of helping others. The tribes should be more lenient because they know what it is like being controlled by other. Amber and Lydia were controlled by others and did what they had to do even if it was the cost of others.
Ok that's the end of that.

The characters are great and very deep emotionally. At times I got so wrapped up in them I could relate. I definitely liked it.

A dangerous planet, a fractured group of survivors on the run, triads and foursomes and other pairings, and aliens who are learning to feel again. Yessssssss.

Amber managed to survive the wilds with her small group from the downed ship and, by the time the Valos put in an appearance, she was more than ready to let them help. She's still the leader (of sorts) of her group, though, and she's feeling a little frayed when Pel and Mishal first set eyes on her.

Given that their triad is fractured because of Flin's damaged heartstone (and they are most certainly a triad), things don't move forward easily for the group. Pel wants to jump in a relationship, Mishal thinks Pel is being foolhardy when one of their triad is damaged, and Amber's trying to figure out how things with more than one man will work.

Spoiler: It works just fine.

But first, they have to make a journey to one of the frozen cities to find the material to repair their third male and get him active again. Guess what? Fire Valos don't do so great in the freezing weather. Guess what again? They're still willing to chance it because they want to get frisky as a group and they don't want to go into things one man down.

Foursomes, man. They make it work and I appreciate their can-do attitude.

Great continuation to the Valos of Sonhadra . Amber was prisoner on the Concord ship along with many others only she had a different role. Although I like Amber she's guilty, tortured by her actions, but I kinda like her the humans look to her for guidance. She has a take charge personality even though she complained about. Pel and Mishal emotionless, barely living but they know that Amber is their soulmate. Pel is more blunt with is affection Mishal on the other hand is trying to fight it but sexual tension between them all is something else. There trying really hard to resist temptation and do the right thing. They have a problem though, there brother Flin has a broken heartstone. They vow to only claim Amber once they repaired their brother Flin’s hearthstone. This intriguing story will definitely take you on a adventure. Also the epilogues at the end was everything. Overall a enjoyable entertaining read. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

New beginnings

Amber and the other humans took Lucie up on her offer and now are living in the city of the fire valos.
Mishal and Pel searched and found the third member of their triad. When they arrived back in the city with Flin's body, they see Amber. Pel wants to court her right away while Mishal is attracted to her but wants to concentrate on healing Flin first.
When they try to bring him back with his heartstone, it cracks. Now they must find a way to try to fix it. That isn't the only problem though. The lava from the volcano is rising and the bad ferix creatures are multiplying.
I love the direction this story went. We not only seen that one relationship formed but also several others. The humans were welcomed and got a chance to "wipe the slate clean" and start all over again. I also loved the epilogues, but I won't tell what happens. Read this for yourself. You definitely need to at least read this authors previous book in this series. It is not a stand alone story.

🔥💕I generally like Nancey Cummings ' space romances and this one had some steamy, some touching moments, but I prefer her Warlords of Sangrin series. I just found it a bit difficult to visualize the valos aliens that her humans bonded with. I was not really invested in heroine Amber's character. Her triad of suitors, particularly Mishal , seemed to have more humanlike emotion than she ever did. I particularly found the scene with Flin trying to comfort the last fire valos to be revived very touching.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

I love this series; this book is no exception. Excellent!
One of the things I enjoy most in a story is a take-charge woman. One who makes sure things get done, people get helped, whether or not it’s convenient to her. That doesn’t mean she’s bossy, or can’t let someone else give her a break. This is what Amber is like. She also loves to be part of the action. When she meets Pel and Mishal, she finds them attractive and hopes to have some fun times, but they have strict ideas about things proceed. I really enjoyed the different personalities of her valos. Never a dull moment!
The ending is highly satisfying, and the journey from start to finish has enough pitfalls to cause reader nail-biting. Never doubt, the romance is delightful!

I loved reading about the Fire Valos again. Amber is the unofficial leader of the humans, something she never really wanted but was a necessity for survival. When Pel and Mishal come back from retrieving their friend Flin, they know that Amber is the one for them. Without Flin their triad is incomplete. We are taken on a journey to find out if anything can be done for Flin and the other Fire Valos. The tension between these three build as they continue to get to know each other. It all helps to make the moment they finally come together that much hotter. This story is also wrapped up nicely at the end. *I recieved and Arc copy and this is my honest review.*

Another great addition to the series! I love reading about the Fire Valos and I might just have to branch out to the other books in the series.

Amber, the unofficial "leader" of the humans in the Fire Valos camp finds a valos male vying for her to be his mate. One of the triad is out of commission because of a faulty heartstone and the other lives more inside himself. Their journey is tough but not insurmountable. This was a lot of fun to read!

I was gifted an ARC in return of an honest review.

The ship that Amber was on crashed on an alien planet. She helps the other survivors survive in the harsh environment. Three alien males mate with one female on this planet. Pel and Mishal know that Amber is their mate but, before they can mate with her they have to repair Flin's heartstone. This is a hot, steamy read with aliens and a strong human female. I would definitely recommend this book.

Amber and her Fire Valos - they are some lucky guys to get Amber. She is awesome!

Each guy in her triad had good points and issues that needed work but Amber was up for working with each of them.

I enjoyed seeing a relatively competent woman open herself up to the new life she found with the Fire Valos on Sonhadra.

This was one of my least favorites. I didn’t feel a connection between them. She was constantly being pushed away. We didn’t even meet the third until the very end so how are we supposed to feel like they are in love?
I am not one who likes it when the hero is being a dick and the heroine gets hot because of it.

More good things.

I enjoyed returning to Sonhadra. I read the series when it first came out and I loved that it was so interconnected but separate complete stories. Amber and her guys were great and I liked seeing how Kira arrived at the Northern Valos. I also really enjoyed the second epilogue. It felt like a wrap up of the entire series which I appreciate.

It felt rushed

Out of all of the Valos books, this one didn't flow for me. It just seemed like, oh we have this problem, and then we fix it. There was no sense of struggle. The book told me their task was difficult, but it wasn't described well enough for me to really feel it.

Amber Gets Her HEA!

Finally, we have the story of Amber and her long journey from the computer / technology expert on the Concord to mate and mother with the Fire Valos. All of these books have a similar message: everyone makes mistakes; but second chances are precious and should not be wasted. Make amends, but more importantly, forgive yourself - no one is perfect.
The extended epilogue is wonderful! Eight years later we get an idea of how everyone is settling into their new homes. Loved it! I am really hoping for more books in the series - I don’t care if it’s about more human-Valos pairings or the children of the original pairings, just as long as we get more books!
