A xenomorph and his dog... The atmosphere in this issue is still OK. Mostly because of the very solid art that actually fit the story. The story itself, though... still meh. I mean, yeah, sure, there's a synthetic xenomorph now. But Jerry Prosser doesn't really use him properly, so, the story ends up like all previous Dark Horse comics. People want some stuff from aliens. People embark on an expedition. People suffer. The end. That's exactly what happens. Again. And the fact that Jerry Prosser changed the players and their tool doesn't really change things enough. It's still the same exact thing all over again.

Thank god that Julie told that one guy to keep quiet about the dreams that he was having about her and him together. Nobody needs to know what they were doing in that dream, and more importantly, what it made him want to do now in real life. Also, apparently they also just let their dog out onto the xenomorph homeworld, because that is definitely a safe thing to do. We definitely won't be finding the skeleton of a dead dog later, don't worry.
