Damaged doesn’t begin to cover Tamil’s current state. Riskel wants to fix that.

Turned out at a young age, Tamil was taken in by evil. All he’s known is abuse until Jonathan comes to his rescue. His mind and body are broken, but Jonathan’s home is different from any place he’s ever been. People are kind for no reason. As much as that messes with his head, it’s nothing compared to the way Riskel confuses him. Nothing feels real anymore.

Even though Tamil almost killed Riskel, Riskel knows a wounded beast when he sees one—in pain and lashing out. Riskel can’t stop himself from trying to help. Each day he gains Tamil’s trust a little more—like taming a wild animal. Only time will tell if Tamil is worth the effort or if he’ll slice Riskel’s throat in his sleep. It’s a chance he’s willing to take.

Unfortunately, Riskel isn’t the only being obsessed with Tamil. Evil doesn’t want to let go. Riskel will have to risk more than his neck if he hopes to break the devil’s hold.

“Before you, my life was split between being controlled by other people or being trapped in my loneliness. I don’t think you realize how much meeting you has given me. You’re my personal miracle.”

The Hellish Clan is a centuries old vampire pack that hunts and destroys demons that threaten the human race. In the sixth installment of the Hellish series, Tamil, a powerful shape shifter that has been demon touched, has been given sanctuary. Tortured and abused by demons in the very pits of Hell, Tamil has never known kindness nor love, but that has not changed the purity of his soul. Riskel sees the light hidden within Tamil, and is drawn to him. When he realizes he has found his true blood mate, Riskel will fiercely battle any who would cause Tamil harm. But when the demon that owned and tortured Tamil for years rises from Hell to reclaim his property, Tamil is forced to make a choice—allow the Hellish Clan to fight or to sacrifice himself to save his beloved Riskel.

Ache absolutely gutted me. Ugly tears were a flowing while reading Tamil’s and Riskel’s story. With each installment of the Hellish series, we, the reader, are drawn in to a world where the monsters aren’t always hiding under the bed…sometimes they live within our darkest memories and sneak out to scare us in our dreams.

If you are a lover of m/m romance with a paranormal element, I highly recommend this series!

*Readers Note: This is book 6 in the Hellish series. I do not consider these as stand-alone books, and recommend they be read in order.

Another great add to the series. Here we get Tamil and Riskel, their story isn't easy read which you can probably guess from meeting Tamil in the last book. I didn't think he'd get a book or a happy ending, thought he was your typical bad guy. What I love about this series is all the surprises and things you wouldn't seeing coming. Risk and Tam will break your heart but also repair it with beautiful moments that had me smiling. Can't wait for the next.

Awesome story

This was probably my favorite in this series so far. I loved how we got to see all of our preconceptions about Tamil get blown away. I also loved to see how Risk was able to do the same, and not see the creature that attacked everyone, but someone worthy of live in his own right.

Ultimately, I loved how Tamil was able to overcome the torture of his past and deal rather spectacularly with his abuser.

Great couple...

Tamil had overcome a lot of physical and mental abuse, while imprisoned in hell by the demon prince. If it wasn't for Jonathan taking him in, and Risk love and protection, he would have given up. I find Tamil and Risk to be a great couple and I'm happy for both of them. I really enjoyed reading this book, now I'm looking forward to the next one in the series. And, to find out what else Jonathan has in stored for his family and friends.

One hell of a gift

Tamil is a shapeshifter who only one touch of another he can become them power's and all. He has seen more horrors than all the others combined but his heart is pure. Risk so sweet can't get enough of Tam and will protect his bloodmate no matter what. Jonathan needs someone like Tam to fight all that lay before them.

I love that someone who looks like a villian in one book can be shown not to be a bad person in another. I've always been a sucker for redemption stories, though this story is more like, "they were never a bad person they were just traumatized, tortured, and sick, so with proper care and treatment, they're a force for good."
