Your proofreader stinks. And the punctuation is haphazard, sloppy, and embarassing to an even competent writer, much less published author.
And the storyline is ofter jerky and full of holes. Perhaps you should work on the basics more. Your ideas are really good, but uneveness and tremendously odd verbiage tossed in seemingly at random, really make your work suffer.
I hate to give the book 3 stars instead of 4. There were a couple spots that would jump from one character to another with our warning, as well as jumped backwards in time and I found at least two spots where the names for switched to another character and back. So I had to re-read several spots. I have several unanswered questions that left me hanging. I am hoping there might be another book later with who Olivia is exactly and what happened to Mason, Daffyd, and Romulus. There was a lot of information in the books though. I liked several of the characters. It's worth a read maybe the things that bothered me will not bother others.
From start to finish I was pretty entranced by the story. There were different story lines throughout the series, but everyone's lives were entangled. The first few books were fantastic, but towards the end I felt like the story lost some "steam". I felt that the author wasn't sure where to take the entanglements, and then it was violent death for everyone. Overall, not a bad series.
The unique storyline in this box set is captivating ... I have to mention that there were times were I had difficulty understanding what was being portrayed causing my need to reread pages hoping to clear up my confusion.
This box set is worth every penny, and then some. I noticed a few spots in the first book that were a little rough, and that is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The stories are interesting, I loved the characters, and having all of the books together is my favorite way to read a series.
I did not finish this book. It was very hard to follow and keep track of what was going on. I tried to finish it but it just didn’t make any sense to me. I wouldn’t recommend it but there might be some out there who can make sense of it. Sorry!
DNF, Read about twelve chapters of book one and the author still did not have my attention. It jumped from character to character wit no interest in anyone. It was lacking description and plot. I won’t give any stars because it doesn’t even equate a sixth graders worse work. Do NOT buy this work!
This was really hard to read. I couldn't help up with the characters and there was very little back story. I just couldn't get into and it seemed to go on and on.
Boring series. Didn't like the way it's written wit each chapter a different person. Makes it hard to keep up with story line. I didn't even finish first book.
